“Definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to. The portion sizes are HUUGE. I'm not even kidding. The restaurant staff know what their food is worth. One of the yeero platters may as well be a serving size for three people. The staff was nice and service was amazing, but they could definitely work on providing better air conditioning.“

This little place is tucked-away on the second floor by the checkout lanes of the Food Bazaar grocery store, so don’t give up on trying to find it. They have a clean marble counter seating area overlooking the corner of 125th St and 3rd Ave with a nice open view. The owner/manager even came over to check in with me. Overall, a great experience!“

“This place has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Queens. A quick walk past the kitchen and the friendly staff on the grill upon entry and you are already excited about what’s to come.

Service is attentive and they offer you a lot of help with the menu if needed. I noticed the table next to me was sharing a bottle of ouzo. They noticed me looking and gladly offered me some. It was a great experience.

Keep in mind they can get busy on the weekends and on holidays.“

The meat is juicy, the bread is soft and if you like spicy sauce this is a unique home made salsa that you won’t regret. I order it and ate it in less than 5min. “My wife and I came here on a Saturday night around 9:30p after leaving another nearby bar that was just too loud for us (we're not the crazy club/loud bar party types). We met up with another couple we've known for a long time.

Death Ave was extremely accommodating to us. We were seated in a private booth with curtains, the service was fantastic, and both the drinks + desserts were phenomenal.

Bravo and well done -- we've also ordered on delivery from here before and it is excellent. We'll be back for sure!“

First off the food was delicious - started with well poured cocktails to accompany our Pikilia (we especially loved the spicy feta!), followed by the most scrumptiously seasoned lamb chops (Paidakia) EVER, and ended with heavenly home cooked Milfei Napoleon! (With a little extra to take home, FAB!). Our server Tony was great, yet meeting Yiannis and Lia, and taking their recommendations, put this evening over the top! “Loving your neighbor is the lesson at this tiny, precious, kouzina. It’s a bit cramped and loud when it’s busy but it’s still beautiful, and with just enough Greek kitsch to be cool.

The bar is really great (but is the bartender trapped back there?!?) and the food is OUTSTANDING!! We had pastitsio (great flavor) and a skirt salad with grilled veggies (well executed.) I shouldn’t be reviewing this place because I don’t really want you to know about it but…“
