“I don't know. As an Asian, I'm a strong believer that the Chinese food is rarely "bad". The food is generally good but their fried rice is kinda wet and has a rather odd texture, it's not always what you'd expect to get from a Chinese restaurant. Still edible but not the best. My wife disagreed until she ordered a thing of fried rice separately (the awakening moment?). Besides the fried rice (which is important to me enough to take a star off), all the other food has been pretty good. The staff is also friendly.“

“I came here for lunch with my swim team and everything was amazing. The atmosphere, the service, the company, and the food. It’s like a Chinese style Chipotle, where you can customize your own bowl or try a signature dish. The staff was super friendly and the artwork on the wall was eye catching. Would recommend coming here! The only thing is it’s a little pricey and if you want to add meat or seafood to your bowl it costs a few cents extra.“

The food was hot and fresh and not overly sweet or drenched in salty sauce like some of your other Chinese take out places! Heck they even ran a lunch specials on Christmas Day! “This is hands down the best charcoal-style Chinese BBQ skewer spot in the U.S.! We’ve been multiple times and it never disappoints. The meats are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the service is consistently excellent.

Their spicy szechuan dumplings are the best you can find in NJ and they offer rare and delicious sauteed snow pea leaves and watercress... “I’ve been coming here from when I used to go to Tenafly Middle school. This place was my go to for after school snack.
Price is still amazing for lunch deals around $8~$12, portions are generous, and ultimately foods are great.
It’s been more than 10 years but I’ll still come to Tenafly just for Good Taste general chicken tsp combo.
