“*apologies in advance for the poor quality photos - the lighting wasn't conducive to capturing how brilliant and beautiful these dishes were. I was a bit hesitant going in as there were a few mixed reviews, and of course paying $145 pp, you want to be blown away. I had recently watched the Chef's Table episode on Dan Barber and was intrigued on the vegetable focus, farm to table tasting menu at Family Meal. Also, with the daily menu change you simply do not know what you'll be served. 2 hours later - I was blown away and amazed with the entire meal. The veggies served were unlike any veggies I have tasted before. The entire meal from start to finish was enjoyable. In addition, I was surprised how much fish and meat was served (for those worried about the lack of protein). Highly highly recommend this place. Well deserved Michelin Star, and of course the service matches that distinction. Honestly surprised this place isn't as hyped as it is.“
“Went here for some dinner tacos. My friends have been suggesting this place for a while so on this trip to New York I went here. I tried the nopal and carne asada. I liked the carne asada and it was pretty great. It was tasty and filling. Definitely will be back again.“
“I visited after making a reservation.When I told them I had made a reservation, they confirmed it and informed me right away.The servers were all friendly and they came right away and filled the water when it was empty.Two people ordered a special menu, half a lamb steak, porterhouse for two, and grilled vegetables. Because we love meat so much, we only focus on meat.Lamb steak has almost no spicy taste. If you can't eat this, it's better not to eat lamb.The mint jelly served together is the highlight. The color is not green, but it feels more refreshing than any mint jelly I've ever had. I finished the lamb and the server took it away, but I asked for it to be returned and also took the beef with it.The porterhouse was also cooked to medium rare. Of course, even within the same steak, there are differences in grilling due to the thickness of the bone and meat, but even those changes add variety to the taste.There are many stories about discrimination and disregard for Koreans in reviews of other restaurants, but I am writing this long review because I felt that this restaurant had the friendliest and most courteous service among the restaurants I visited during my trip to New York.Oh, the atmosphere of the restaurant is old-fashioned and nice, but the lighting is a bit dark, so I took off one star. Looking at it, there seems to be a slight difference in brightness from place to place.“
“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“
“The hype is real. Went on a Saturday afternoon and the wait was an hour and a half. The neighborhood is so cute with lots of shops, coffee and a park nearby so that kept us busy. Pizza was delicious, service 5 stars and the ambiance can’t be beat.“

“A hidden gem in the east village. Food is experimental and delicious to eat. The Hawaiian Asian fusion food is very unique and rare to find in the city.The gluten-free fried chicken is a must go for anyone who has dietary restrictions. It is crispy, juicy and delicious.Szechuan Bolognese is quite an interesting combination of Chinese and Italian cuisine.Heritage pork chop is a very delicious too.Not to mention the dessert!! The brûlée Hawaiian pineapple and the Chocolate Haupia Sundae are too good to miss!I love the intimate environment. Small space without too much pretentious. The service is superb. You can tell the staff generally care about if their customers have a good time there. Very spontaneous, very friendly and very observable. “Happened upon Figo on our walk around looking for a sweet treat. My friend has a gluten allergy, so finding a sweet treat that is celiac safe is not always easy. Justin was sooo kind to help us out, he really heard our concerns and made sure to offer my friend a safe to go gelato container. She said is was so tasty. I had the lemon and strawberry, which were both amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful! Would highly reccomend!“

“Overall rating: 4.4I was very excited to try Egyptian when I found this place on Google. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I know I was hoping for unique food. I was a bit surprised when I went it was mostly a variation of halaal. I also didn’t realize the place was mostly vegetarian and think its description should be updated.I think I got the basic halal with beet and another sauce. The sauce was reallly good!! I would go back for the beet sauce. But the food ended up being a side to my beet sauce.The staff seemed very friendly but it was so bright. Wish they could lower it just a tad. If you’re a vegetarian, I think you’re going to like this place a tad more.“

“Look, this isn't my type of place. It's clearly for people who make more money than me... but... the fusilli with octopus and beef bone marrow is so damn good (as is the grilled octopus). You can tell the pasta is made fresh and the octopus is high quality. Italian portions as well. I would rather pay $45 for that and have a glass of NYC water than have lunch and drinks at any number of places that serve mediocre quality ingredients, dress it up so it looks good on Instagram, charge $45 and call it "fancy".“

I Could eat here at I saw they have lots of nice menu but my best friend who is super crazy about food demanded to go to the next place so I'm very easy person just go with it. Service is always nice and professional. With out my friend I will come back to try great food next time.2019Il Buco is next to the restaurant that my friend and I went to have a dinner. Looks from the outside this place is very attractive then we stepped in and we spent time in il buco for couple hours, lol. “Came here for a birthday. Very friendly staff and great decor.Started off with some Brussel sprouts, calamari, it was all pretty good. Brussel sprouts slightly overcooked but not too bad. Calamari is great esp the green color sauce.Had a burger, very good! My fellow diners got pasta - they said it was mid but they still enjoyed it.Overall a great please. One slight bother was the $8 for bottled water. Not sure is tap water is an option but seeing $16 charged for water was not pleasant and a surprise.Additionally, more non pork options would be great.“
“Line schmine...schmear! Worth the wait and went back for more. When you open the door, don't let the tiny, packed space deter you. This is an institution for a reason. Perfect bagels, expertly cured lox hand-sliced to order with horseradish cream cheese - done. Good things come to those who wait and they know their craft. I unapologetically stuffed my face with these bagels and quite possibly used my sleeve to wipe my face at one point it was so good. One of the owners struck up a conversation with my Dad and they shared hot tips on their respective pickling techniques - great experience through and through.“

“Had a very enjoyable dinner here on a Monday night. We weren’t rushed at all and our waitress was really sweet. I loved the lotus flower salad and the steamed gyozas were really great - I would never have usually ordered these two dishes so I was pleasantly surprised. The sushi was fresh and the sashimi also had good flavor. Finally the vanilla mochi ice cream melted in my mouth! Such a treat and all for a very reasonable price when sharing dishes.“

“This is one of my favorite spots in the West Village. The Hot Toddy is off the charts! The service from both the servers and bartenders are on point. Definitely also try the Grilled Eggplant Baguette and the Fried Zucchini Chips and as for the green "Everything Sauce". It's a game changer.“

Hence, we decided to give their brunch menu a try.We were still appealed by their pastries when we walked in even though we knew it wasn’t our favorite kind. However, the quality is stable with reasonable price.We used their app to get dine-in orders since there are food photos for reference and we were able to check their daily promotions.We shared Market Salad, Creme Brûlée French Toast, Hot Lobster Roll and Merguez Migas. “Stopped at Bleecker Street Pizza when they opened this morning, for a last minute slice before heading to JFK. They were on the ball and had pizzas ready to go right away. Greg greeted us as soon as we got inside and was very friendly, as was the entire staff! We initially decided on a different slice each, but after speaking to Greg we went back and ordered a Nonna Maria slice to share as well - just couldn’t leave without trying it, and we were not disappointed! This will definitely be my go to slice in the future. We also like that they have GF options for those who need them, but we were unable to handle a whole pie so we did not try the GF crust. Overall a fantastic experience, which is a rare thing these days!“
“Great meal and overall time here! Our server was super nice and friendly/helpful he really guided us through the menu and gave some great suggestions. The restaurant itself is super nice and cozy while being spacious, but oh man the food is unreal. We had the meatballs (so big and flavorful and smothered in sauce), the mushroom pizza which was loaded with mushrooms, super flavorful and unique. Also got the vodka pizza which was really great, we got extra vodka sauce on the side so we could really drown it and loved it. My friend got the gluten free and she said it's the first gluten free bread she's had that actually tastes like real bread and loved it.“

“Went here on a Sunday morning (8am) and it was not very busy. However, they have about 20 employees standing shoulder-to-shoulder so I'm guessing it does get busy at other times. We ordered bagels with cream cheese and bagels with egg/cheese and everything was great. We had ample cream cheese (more than I would put on at home) and the wait was not very long. I thought everything tasted great.“

“Ordered the Charred Chicken Bowl, and I must say, it was phenomenal. It had a flavour that was unbeknownst to me in a bowl. The coconut ranch mixed with the habanero sauce, really do create a unique flavour profile. Also, the chicken marination was something that was brand new to me. Do give it a try!“
“This restaurant is a gem. My wife and I have been here twice and we're coming this Saturday and bringing friends. The room is very nice and the service is excellent. The menu is balanced and, frankly, something of a bargain. The veal/beef meatball is as good as any I've ever had. The New York strip was perfectly cooked and very tender. I make a pretty good steak at home so rarely order one out. Laboratorio Kitchen is becoming a go-to place for me!“

“I went to HD with my Frat Bro Mike Odom for lunch. We arrived on an afternoon when the chef was doing a presentation on eating and preparing vegan foods. It was so different than anything I'd ever experienced in dining. A eatery that was concerned about what and how I put food in my body.The selection of items was awesome. “I've been several times and it's consistently really delicious! The sushi is pretty cool with very realistic vegan salmon and tuna, but in my opinion the rest of their menu is even better. There's a big variety of other delicious things (fried "chicken" bao, dumplings, noodles...). The ube cheesecake is really good too - it doesn't taste exactly like a normal cheesecake but is just a tasty dessert in its own right. All the dishes come out really quickly.“
“I stayed about half a mile from this humble bagel shop. One day I ordered an everything bagel with lox cream cheese. The bagel was crispy on outside and chewy inside. I went back before I left and got a bagel and lox sandwich. It was excellent. The service was fast. I just wish there were more seating options, but understand that rent in ny is astronomical.“

My new fave is Saigon Social (Vietnamese) their Banh Mi are so delicious, light crunchy French bread and fresh ingredients (lemongrass chicken my fave) and I’ve never seen a bad dish exit their kitchen while I eat my own meal. “There's a lot of good vegan options in this neighborhood, but this is definitely worth a trip. The Mac & cheese balls were really delicious, maybe the best of that kind of dish I've had. The fried oyster mushroom sandwich was also good, though it could have maybe used some more veggies. My partner loved her risotto. We also got dessert and the cheesecake was great. The service was slightly slow - it was Friday evening - but really friendly. Prices are typical for the Village. They had wine and beer but those prices were really very high. They had a great tea selection with nice presentation.One unexpected benefit was some really lovely live music, which they have several times per week.Dietary restrictions: All vegan. “Hi all! I am a BIG fan of the management here. Tony is amazing.I had a last minute request for a pizza station at a large Manhattan birthday party over the weekend. With it being so last minute I couldn't order any supplies and called out to pizza venues to see what could be done. I called Nolita pizza two days before the party, Tony picked up my call, understood the request and assured me him and his team could do it no problem. He quoted me a reasonable rate for 4 hours of pizza and we were on our way. Day of event, Tony arrived to check out the venue and go over set up. He took care of everything from start to finish and was very calm, professional and flexible. Everyone at the party was very satisfied and full. The pizza is delicious btw. “Such a cute little cookie and coffee shop right there in the heart of the Broadway theater district and Hell's kitchen. The staff was so friendly, very chatty and they have amazing very large cookies. Everything is baked right there. Must try is lavender and Earl Gray cookie. Favorite seems to be lucky charms and possibly the Oreo cookie as well. But honestly you cannot make a mistake here. Loved it!“

The ladies were very nice, and the food was great.Purchased the Rio Grande and it had an ingredient not enlisted (by accident) which would have caused a severe allergy (my wife). They quickly apologized, refunded my money, gave me a free a sandwich and a free drink. They were so apologetic, and sincere. Now whenever we are in Paramus, we will stop by this place for a bite to eat.“
