“If you’re simply here to enjoy good food, then you came to the right place. The ingredients are solid and absolutely worth the price — honestly, even comparable to places that charge $200–300.
But if you’re coming for a date or looking for ceremony and ambiance, this isn’t really the spot. There’s no detailed ingredient presentation or any wow-factor moments.
One more thing to note: after you finish all the courses, the extra add-on dishes aren’t really worth it.

She was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, made great recommendations, she was there when we needed her without being there too often. I would highly recommend Rosella Sushi. I decided to treat myself to celebrate the end of my doctorate program. It was a totally spontaneous decision, so I didn’t spend much time choosing a place. I opened Resy, typed “sushi midtown,” picked one of the top-rated spots, and honestly—I’m so glad I chose Sushi Yolo.

The food was great, but what really made the night special was Alex, the host. He was incredibly attentive and welcoming. I ended up having such a fun and meaningful conversation with him and another guest, Jerry—which is rare for me since I don’t usually talk to strangers. We talked about all kinds of things, and the vibe was just so easy and genuine.

Alex also kept pouring complimentary sake on the house, which was such a generous and thoughtful touch. This is one of those nights I’ll definitely remember—the atmosphere, the food, the conversations, and the company.

Thank you, Alex, for the amazing hospitality and real conversations. You and Jerry truly made my night.

From the beginning, the staff made sure to ask about any allergies or dietary restrictions, which I really appreciated. “Fuku Omakase was a decent experience overall. The courses were well-executed, the fish was fresh, and everything was generally good. However, a few details held the meal back from being truly memorable.

One issue we had was the rice. It was overcooked and too soft, which affected the texture and balance of the sushi. Additionally, the atmosphere was not as refined as expected. The background music was TOO loud, which seemed to encourage customers to raise their voices just to be heard. It made the space feel more chaotic than relaxing.

Fuku has potential, but a few adjustments—especially to the rice and the ambiance—would make a big difference.“

“I love this place. The sushi is excellent, but it's a more relaxed and approachable atmosphere than other omakase places. And even better is that there are multiple counters and tables so you're actually able to get a reservation rather than competing for just a dozen seats per night. 😄 Really, though, the food and service are great. I have taken multiple groups here on business dinners, and we always have an excellent meal. And the service is so attentive - for example, they noticed my friend was left handed so they reoriented her plate (we were at a table, not the counter) to accommodate her on every course. I also recommend getting the beverage pairing to go with your omakase courses. The sommelier does a great job.“

“Went to Choo Choo Train with five friends. Ordered Miso Salmon entree and it was delicious. Salmon was grilled perfectly, broccoli and carrots were cooked well and still crunchy, and mashed sweet potatoes were yummy. Cannot say enough about food and attentive service. Will return...no doubt!“

“This was our 3rd time going to the Times Square Sushi by Bou. It's omakase, meaning that the chef prepares and chooses each course. This restaurant is very small; 8 seats at a counter. But it's a great experience. The chefs will chat with you, explain what they are serving (the fish, the toppings and additions which enhance the flavor). Every time we've been, the experience has been great. And sharing the experience with your fellow patrons is very nice. It's comfortable. The fish are very freah, everything is delicious, You can have a flight of sake or wine or other spirits. I had a non alcoholic yuzu lemonade. It's in the basement of the Sanctuary Hotel. So small you might miss the entrance the first time. But it is well worth the visit. And if I haven't already said it the service is great and the staff are very welcoming. Highly recommend.“

“Got the $50 set menu, really good value. The 9 piece nigiri was really good. Miso black cod and coconut shrimp hand rolls also very good but logistically challenging. Korean chicken app was great, gyoza I didnt love. Place was clean and food was fast.“

“I ventured to this spot after a meeting for a solo lunch. I came on a weekday between lunch and dinner, so I was seated immediately. The hostess was extremely helpful & nice, she explained the ordering process very clearly. Seeing my dish slide down the conveyor belt was just a lot of fun and the wall of Anime figures near the bar is incredible. I love One Piece & Dragon Ball so it was definitely a nice touch.

Best:
The Yellowtail was so fresh! That and the Aburi Salmon Mayo were my favorite types of nigiri.
My favorite rolls were definitely Volcano & Yummy 😋

Pass:
Chicken Karage, while cooked perfectly, it was very dry and the coating was not the best.
Also I'd stay away from the hand rolls. The rice makes up 75% of the filling.

Lastly please note sashimi does not appear on the ayce menu, so just keep that in mind if you're not looking to consume too many carbs.“

“Delightful! We were in early after a day of hoofing all over mid-town. We were greeted by our server and seated immediately (like I said, It was early) but un-rushed as we reviewed our options. We both ordered sushi-sashimi combinations as well as gyoza to keep it light. All excellent! The fish was so fresh and perfectly sliced/prepared. An avocado green salad was crisp, fresh and more than enough. The gyoza was obviously made with care, moist and tender. My wine accompaniment rounded out our meal. The flavors of everything worked incredibly well together, my favorite being lean tuna with yuzu radish. was not expecting a fatty tuna and caviar extra for my birthday but it was absolutely delicious. Our chef for the night was Alex and everything was done with such care and precision. I also really appreciate that they are pretty strict with start and end times. They will wait for a few minutes since it's 4-6 people per chef, but they will start if you are not there, which was great. First time trying A5 wagyu and it was incredible.“

“I got so lucky when I randomly stumbled upon this place while getting lunch at work. As someone who loves chicken teriyaki trust me when I say you must try theirs. I have been searching for the last few years all around the bergen county area for the best chicken teriyaki and I have found it here. This is my absolute favorite! I have tried probably 50+ restaurants and nothing can beat this. From the way they prepare chicken, to the homemade sauce they use, the perfectly cooked rice and the avocado, egg and dumplings they add on.... it is one of the greatest combinations i've ever tasted. On top of that, their sushi is always delicious and fresh. If thats not enough, they also have fantastic owners and workers there. I always get a warm greeting, and they're thankful for my patronage.
