“We really enjoyed our experience at Kimika. The cocktails were amazing - unique with great flavors. I loved the kaga milk punch, shishitorita and the unami in kenmare.Dishes are a fusion of Japanese flavors in Italian style dishes, such as the sticky rice arancini served on a Japanese curry sauce. Other menu highlights were the tuna tartare, hamachi collar, truffle carbonara, rigatoni, and the steak.Dont miss the yakult soft serve for dessert!Staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We were seated in a back room which felt private with so much space on the large tables.“

“10/10 highly recommend. Read about Potluck Club on the infatuation and they were spot on. Potstickers were delicious. The salt and pepper chicken was a first for me, but also delicious. And we had some noodle dish and added the hanger steak. Again delicious. Staff was so friendly and all busting their butts. Really nice to see them working as a team!“

“In NYC for a few days and visited OBAO - and couldn't recommend any higher. Our waiter, Beer was excellent - running us through the menu and giving us recommendations (two of which we took up).I highly recommend the short rib massamam which was recommended to me. A favourite of mine, OBAOs was hands down the best Massamam I've tried.Massive shout out again to Beer - for going above and beyond to making our visit memorable.“

“Had a very good meal at Thep Thai. Came here on a sunday afternoon, there was no wait, and our waitress (Gift) was very attentive and checked in often even though we sat in a back corner outside. The food was also amazing, some of the best Thai food we had in UES. Definitely would recommend.“

“Even on limited time, I make it a priority to visit PLANTA whenever we're in the same city. I walked here from the Empire State Building, and it was bustling on a Saturday evening. I happily sat at the bar. FIRECRACKER ROLL This was on their April exclusive menu. Filled with Japanese sweet potato, avocado, unagi, and topped with gochujang mayo & chili salt. DELICIOUS! It deserves to be a staple menu item. TORCHED AND PRESSED One of my go-to menu items. This roll is so melt-in-your-mouth creamy. I drool every time. I even convinced some girls sitting at the bar to order this roll. BANG BANG BROCCOLI My numero uno go-to dish since I visited the SOBE location a few years ago. Will never not order this. Crunchy. Flavorful. Amazing in every way. As they were leaving, a couple asked me about this dish and I let them each have one floret. They were sold! (Not all PLANTAs have the same dishes, but luckily, two of my favs have been at all the ones I've visited: FL, CA, IL, & NY.) TRUFFLE RICE I tend to avoid the main dishes and stick with starters and sushi, but I wanted to try something different. Unfortunately, I should've followed my instincts. It had a nice flavor to it, but it was dry and the rice was overcooked. Disappointing. There was so much potential with the cumulation of ingredients. As a PLANTA Passport holder who doesn't live near a PLANTA, I was excited to be able to use my birthday reward - a free dessert! But they didn't have my fav available- the giant chocolate chip cookie, so I ended up passing on dessert. Service was great. As busy as he was, he kept my water glass filled. The worst part about my visit is that I rushed out to catch my Uber back to Brooklyn and left my leftovers on the counter. I may have shed a tear about it. Tip: there are outlets and hooks at the bar.“

“Let me start off by saying, if you want to complain about prices, don't even walk in the door. To get the optimal experience at any restaurant, you have to pay to play. So expect to spend about $70-100 per person here, this is a spot you take someone on a knock-it-out-of-the-park date or group gathering, you can't be a cheapskate. Now, to the food. Vietnamese BBQ is an intimate experience. Order the 7 course beef so you can try everything while the staff explains and helps you cook your meat. The electric grills are of the highest quality, the same ones they use at high-end Japanese yakiniku places, so the smoky taste on your cooked beef will be perfect. If you want to order a la carte, I highly recommend the Tomahawk, Madame Prawns and Charred Uni. Like I said, this is a place where you share your meal with friends and family so all the food is portioned that way.“

“Food overall was delicious, I tried one of the cocktails was also well made and tasty. Was a little noisy but expected from a popular restaurant. Service was great and always ask if we are good with everything or if we needed anything. A must try when in time square.“

“The dining experience as a whole was satisfactory; certain dishes stood out while others fell short of expectations. The entrees, particularly the fried chicken, failed to leave a lasting impression, especially when contrasted with the myriad of exceptional Korean fried chicken offerings available in NYC. The cod was one-note with an overpowering gochugang curry sauce. There were notable highlights such as the sea urchin steamed egg, the squash, and the refreshing sujeonggwa granita, though the occasional overpowering presence of cinnamon in the granita detracted slightly from the overall enjoyment. I would recommend a visit to sample select items, but skip the fried chicken and cod.“

“Should not have so much onions in the food. My lunch box comes with 2 pan cakes of suck. I hated them. It's just flour with lots of onions. Most Buddhists don't eat onions and scallions. Salad was fresh. Ambiance good. Quiet with no music.“

“It was an amazing experience that I give 5 ⭐️’s The menu was innovative and interesting and I love that the chef guides all the courses that come out of the kitchen. “This restaurant exceeded all expectations! A definite must-visit for anyone in NYC craving exceptional food, service, and atmosphere.Starting with the ambiance, stepping through the revolving doors transports you into a world of elegance. The golden bar, stocked with top-shelf selections, catches the eye immediately. To the right, a chic cocktail lounge area adorned with rose gold velvet chairs invokes a nostalgic 70s vibe, complemented by tasteful gold accents. The red room at the back exudes glamour and sophistication with its rich red accents, creating an atmosphere of opulence. Even the bathrooms, with their beautiful and impeccably clean facilities, maintain the luxurious gold theme. Our choice of high top booths near the cocktail lounge allowed us to fully appreciate the architectural beauty and aesthetic charm of the restaurant. The Motown music added to the ambiance, setting the perfect mood for enjoying drinks and good company. Now, onto the customer service - our server Mary was simply outstanding. Her blend of humor, warmth, and reliability elevated our dining experience to another level. She went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Her attention to detail ensured that each member of our group felt catered to and comfortable throughout the dining experience. Celebrating my birthday, Mary's attentive service and infectious smile made the occasion even more memorable for our group of four. And then there's the food... where do I even begin? Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, leaving us wanting more with every bite. The flavors were so exquisite that I was tempted to lick the plate clean, but of course, I had to maintain my composure. I could rave about the entire menu, but some standout items that deserve extra praise include:Wasabi lobster********Lobster tempura roll (hand cut)********Wok lobster****Wagyu skewers*********Edamame*****Lobster dumplings***Spicy shrimp rice*******“

“Everything was beautifully done. The hamachi stole the show -- it was one of the best bites I've had in my life, just perfectly balanced. The snow crab pasta was close behind it. It was so flavorful and completely different from any other pasta dish I've had. The sangria was also a twist on something done frequently that made you take an extra second to think about it. The service was speedy and everyone was very attentive. This was just so enjoyable.“

“If you're searching for a dining experience that transcends the ordinary, look no further than PF Changs! From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. The ambiance was both inviting and elegant, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. But what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service provided by bartenders Quenta and Danny. Their professionalism and attentiveness elevated my visit to new heights. Their mastery of mixology was evident in every cocktail they crafted, each one a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. Their genuine enthusiasm and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening.I must also commend Giussepe, the manager, for his excellence and attentiveness. He ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was nothing short of perfection. His dedication to customer satisfaction was evident throughout the evening, and his presence only enhanced an already stellar experience. In summary, PF Changs, with its outstanding service and delectable cuisine, earns a perfect 10/10 in my book. Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner for two or a memorable night out with friends, this establishment is sure to exceed your expectations. Don't hesitate to pay them a visit—you won't be disappointed!“

“I have been coming to this establishment since it was legit a box on the block. If you walked too fast you'd miss it...and I'm so excited and impressed on how they've transformed to become such edgy, dateworthy and "Instagrammable" sit down dining restaurant.Prices & Food: very reasonable, includes lunch time specials that won't dent the pockets. I haven't had all of the dishes on the menu but the ones that I have had I enjoyed. I ❤️ the fact that they stay true to their roots regarding heat levels. They don't dummy it down for us NYers..you came there remember! On the flip..they should stay true to their roots and not serve fried chicken wings the way we do up here. That was a miss ?Cleanliness: ? they nailed it! The bathroom decor is something I'd be inspired to copy and VERY clean, smells good, etc. I hold a sanitation certificate so EVERYWHERE I go I'm looking in corners, looking at the ceiling, under the tables..I need to know my area is clean to enjoy my food! 5stars!Service: No complaints. Each server has been attentive and patient; never really hovering to rush me and my party out so much appreciated ?I would very much recommend coming here. Nice for a solo date or bring a party. The place is inviting and seats about 40 people in total I believe. Warm months brings outside dining, never done it, but it looks ?Wheelchair accessibility: Establishment provides outdoor dining and has a ramp! Thoughtful!“

“We booked this place strictly off of seeing their viral Instagram post from @righteouseats and their affiliations with the Win Son restaurant across town. I thought Win Son was a 10/10 dining experience so of course I had high expectations. Service/Ambiance:We arrived as soon as they opened, and we were quickly seated in tables for two with stool type chairs it definitely was a tight squeeze as the place quickly filled up. There is really no where to place your coat if you're sitting in this area unless you walked about 10 feet to the bar are where there was a hook on the wall. Those backless chairs quickly became an issue for my 6'2" frame. Our waitress Sharon was excellent! She was attentive and super friendly and helpful making food recommendations, etc and definitely the reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 3. Food:Food was mid for me. The toast tasted oily, the ribs were overcooked AND oily. You def needed that sauce but I wasn't going to pay $7 for a sauce sampler. The once saving grace was the rice. It was flavorful and yummy and the chicken was moist and crispy as it should be. I probably won't be visiting again and stick with Win Son restaurant and bakery.“

“Great place to eat. Friendly and big portions. I have tried most things and liked them but. My go to order is the Chicken Bimbap Bowl with Tiger Sauce. “Got the papaya salad, pad spicy miso eggplant & shiitake fried rice. Papaya salad- that was pretty spicy, very fresh and crunchy. I couldn't tell if there was papaya in there because it was white? Eggplant- good flavors and well done, needed a bit more rice though because it was again, quite spicy. Shiitake fried rice- no overall complaints, I liked it, but wish it had a bit less oil.“

“A comfortable Japanese fusion spot in a complex with convenient parking lot. The restaurant offers lunch special and full menu ranging from sushi, hibachi, and bento. Good quantity for the price paid ($30 for one special roll, Kamazaki, and one regular shrimp tempura roll)The restaurant is clean and spacious with plenty natural light. Only glitch was the waiter seemed confused when ordering and didnt seem familiar with the menu. Other than that, a good spot for fusion craving and would come back again.“

“We started with the shuami which had a peach on too that was the best shumai I ever had . Also started with the rainbow soup dumplings each individual dumplings had its own unique ingredient inside which made it interesting to see what you get . For entrees we did the pineapple rice with chicken. I also had an item that wasn't even on the menu but the beef was great nice spices to it very traditional tasting dish drank a lychee martini also which hit the spot for happy hour highly recommend this place for a dine in or quick bite . “We are huge fans of Peter Kelly's, but the little things need to be improved. We've gone to Kelly's places since the 90's, and are big believers, and X2O's lunch used to be the best buy in town. Like everything else the price has climbed, and it is no longer a great bargain, but it is still worth every penny at $36. The lunch menu has expanded, and even though we miss the risottos, the selection is ample, and the specials are terrific. What caused the rating to drop from five to four stars are two simple but vital things - the bread, which used to be a highlight, was very mediocre, and the coffee was weak, unusual for X2O. The food was spectacular, but the little things need to return to their usual high level.“

“My family stopped in for dinner on a gloomy evening. The owner warmly greeted us after a short wait and was very attentive through out our time. We ordered a Bul Dak bowl, Sunny Avo, and Kimchi Jae Yuk bowl. Everything was very tasty and the portions were so large. We tried our best but couldn’t finish, we were stuffed. The owner was very nice, even giving our daughter a choice of handmade trinket made by his children. It was our last day in NYC but would recommend Bulbap Grill to anyone in the area.“

Meat selection good, but would hope less salty selection.Shame horumon (intestines) off the menu due to too much smoke. Thanks for changing grills diligently. “Hand rolls here are pretty good! Portions are small but I definitely recommend giving it a try here! My favorite handrolls were the spicy tuna and the avocado salmon. The seared prime beef and the A5 Wagyu were also to die for! Every bite melts in your mouth! The spicy tuna crispy rice was ok. The rice was not crispy enough. There was 4 pieces for $12. The salmon carpaccio was really good! Love the citrus sauce that came with this dish. There was 5 slices of salmon for $16. So it was a bit overpriced. Veggie udon was really good and flavorful! Really hit the spot on a cold rainy day! Parking is a bit difficult but that's the norm in Fort Lee. Overall, fish was pretty fresh but overpriced for the portions.“

“Excellent decor, you can miss it from it's non descript exterior but once you walk through the door it opens up into a large space with fully stocked bar and a pleasing aesthetic. The beef tripe in chilli sauce is excellent and my favorite off the menu. They also give generous portions of both food and wine for a great price that doesn't break the bank.“

“Wow, what a dope experience. I already had high expectations for this place, but was still blown away by the food, the drinks and the hospitality. So much thought and flavor behind each bite and sip. This is the type of place that's gonna be the right choice regardless. Hit it up after work with co-workers, go with a group of friends, date night spot, or even a special occasion - I enjoyed my birthday dinner there tonight. “Went to this sushi bar with a few friends yesterday after finishing up at nearby Vessel Floats. We were excited to check it out as it had been on our lists to try for a few months now. The restaurant is fairly new, just over a year old, and you can tell how much the staff really cherish each customer. We were greeted immediately by a very personable server who let us choose our seats and quickly engaged us in some light conversation. As we sat down all of us were struck by the beautiful decor inside. The bar area had this stunning gold metal background and there were plants everywhere! Even the light fixtures were unique with gold oddly shaped bulbs hanging from the ceiling. Now to the food! I, as a non-seafood eater, ended up ordering the miso soup and tonkatsu. The miso soup felt like a warm hug and the tonkatsu was flavorful but just a little tough. My friends ended up ordering the miso soup as well, a seafood bisque which I heard was delicious, and an assortment of sushi rolls and oysters. I heard no complaints and in fact, everyone left full and happy. We also ordered a bottle of the yuzu sake which was dangerous!! Sweet and tasty :) Would absolutely come again!“

“The service was a little slow but we had the whole restaurant to ourselves so no complaints - it was basically a quiet little oasis in the middle of this noisy city. Half of the menu is similar to the one at May Kaidee if you're familiar with that place, the other half is more "fruitarian" although I don't think they define fruitarian as a diet purely based on fruit. The influence is Thai-Indian. Nothing was overly oily or salty which is just what I hope for when I eat out. Portions could be slightly bigger. I'll be back to try more things!“

“Some friends insisted I try Tiam Tiam. "You will love it and it's so close to your home." Words spoken by ppl that live 35 miles away ??♀️. Needless to say the food was so good! The fresh taste of the salmon was outrageous. The Taiwanese fried pork chop served w/cabbage and rice was so flavourful and juicy. It was as if I was in a private home. So many spices were used in the preparation it makes the pork chop a must try! Even though the trip was a 15 min circuitous journey it was so worth it. ?“

“I came here after claiming my free bubble tea from one of Yelp's events since I was in the area. I visited the LIC Lunar New Year events website and saw that this spot had a sampler special. I took a chance on it. After disputing with staff and management that the deal on the website ends at the end of the month, they had adjusted their online menus to provide the sampler option to order. I did get the sampler without having to spend extra. Portions were generous and fresh. I ate half and took the other half home for the family. The ambiance was designed for locals living in the area, not so much for outsiders like me. I saw that Kuku has other locations, so I may check those out.“
