“The moussaka is the best I have ever had by a landslide and one of my favorite dishes ever. I have ordered it probably 100 times and it never disappoints. The gigantes are scrumptious. Better of either those dishes would not be found in Greece. The atmosphere is simple because this isn't a fancy restaurant, but it is pleasant.“

“Their lamb/beef gyro was really good. The bowl was stuffed! The wait was a bit long though, almost 25+ minutes just to get to order, and sometimes other people (I assume related) just cut in to throw in 5 or 10 other orders. The food came out very fast at least and I enjoyed my bowl. I see they have an online ordering site, so I may try that next time to reduce the wait. Would love to try the other items.“

“I love Pi I enjoy getting my Greek frappe and other coffees from Pi. The pastries are exceptional and if you want to have lunch, you can also have fantastic Greek dishes. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the coffees and food that they serve. I go to Pi every time I’m in that neighborhood.“

“Had their food for the first time the other day as takeout. Staff was very nice. Food was good. I had the gyro sparta wrap...very good I also tried their rice pudding. It was very good but I think $7 for a cup is pricey. I would go back to try other dishes.“

“I came here for the chicken cheeseburger and fries, and both were really good -fresh, flavorful, and just the kind of comfort food you want. The service was friendly and the place feels cozy, nothing fancy but nice quality. I also tried the baklava since they didn’t have cheesecake that day. It was okay, maybe 6/10, not something I’d order again. But for sure, if you come here, get the chicken cheeseburger with fries , that’s the real highlight“

“Whoa! The food was amazing! Im pescatarian, so I had the fish, and it was delicious. Everything was so fresh. There was a humus plate with 3 different flavors, and the cucumbers were beautifully decorated around them. I must have eaten all of the cucumbers. In some restaurants, a fresh cucumber can be hard to come by. The fish arrived on a bed sautéed spinach, WOW ❤️❤️. The sliced pita bread with the humus was addictive. I definitely ate way more than I should have. While I dont eat meat, the other folks I was dining with said the chicken and beef options were just as delicious. It was family style, so we had lots of options. The restaurant is small but quaint, and the customer service was amazing. The food came out quickly, and there were about 13 of us. We had a reservation for 1 pm on a Thursday, and it was not crowded.
There isn't a lot of space to move around, so I would be conscious of carrying large bags or strollers.“

“Food is really good! Comparably priced to most of the fast casual restaurants in midtown area. Got the Piato both times, and the potatoes are great as a base. Chicken is crispy and nice, and the Bambi and Greek Salads are fire. Service is really really good too, and personally get a kick out of the door to the basement being covered by the trash can lol.

“Ordered from Little Greek on a whim one night and was SO pleasantly surprised. I was greeted by the owner when I came in to pick up the food - so friendly and made sure everything was as correct on my order. We ordered the mixed meat plate and all 3 dips and everything was super delicious. We will definitely return and try the rest of the menu.“

“Behind the unassuming food truck is some excellent greek food, with personable service..so glad my office is right next to it. Had lamb souvlaki (only meat) before and today had pork souvlaki (only meat) and both were grilled to perfection, fresh, juicy and perfectly spiced. Fries cooked perfectly, lamb/beef gyros good portion, falafels were awful. Fries & gyro both lacked FLAVOR/seasoning, falafel must be a basic frozen brand and I tossed them after eating only one. The price point is worth stopping in to decide for yourself because we all understand food is different for each individual. What I’m used to is more flavor forward but this worked for a quick bite before headed to the airport for my flight home.“

“Stopped in for lunch last week and loved it. The food was fresh and flavorful, with portions that satisfy without feeling heavy. The ambiance Greek décor and music really transports you, and the service was friendly, fast, and attentive. Plenty of parking makes it an easy choice. My wife had the salmon with a Greek salad, and I had the lentil soup plus lamb chops with a Greek salad everything was excellent. We highly recommend it. I’ll be back!“

“I never leave reviews, but this place really impressed me! Pappas New York has incredible Greek food — the lamb chops were tender and full of flavor, and the lobster pasta was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great, and the staff went above and beyond. Especially Joni, who took amazing care of our table last Saturday — super attentive, professional and friendly the whole night. Don't want to forget the sparkling guy Jerry, he was amazing. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in New York!“

“I know this place has been well known for a long time but I was really impressed. Every dish we had was the best version of Greek I’ve ever had. Not to mention the food came out incredibly fast. The carafe of white wine was also a surprise it drank like golden water. Great spot.“

“This place was fantastic! Over the years I've been here maybe 10 times. I never complain when my friends or family suggest this place to eat for dinner. The waitresses are always a pleasure to deal with. They assist me well when I ask for all my extras and meal modifications. The chef ?? in the back is on point. I wish GYRO TOWN long-term success in these challenging economic times
Parking: Paid street parking can be a bit full sometimes, causing me to circle once or twice. I typically never have to walk more than a half a block.“
