“After eating so much (pizza etc )we needed to eat something different, spicy and booked this gem,as it as near to our hotel. It was also our 40th wedding anniversary. We are from U.K. This was amazing perfectly cooked tasty home made authentic Indian cuisine. We had mocktails ( lavender was refreshing ). The tandoori lamb chops x4 were full meat seasoned beautifully and delicious. All other sides perfect too. Now in U.K. we hate restaurant Indian puddings they are usually bought in and awful/failure. After finding out the chef is the owner and a recipient Michelin star we were convinced to stay,try and this was the first time we have had authentic home made puddings; try Kulfi with rose water & also Indian rice pudding. The whole meal was exceptional great value and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone else visiting New York. Easy to find off Times Square /Broadway. Thanks for the rendition “ congratulations “ for our 40th. You are great ! A little gem of authenticity in big New York !“

The menu offers a wonderful, wide variety of fresh and expertly cooked seafood, seafood boils, grilled steaks, salads, soups, OMG lobster mac & cheese, burgers, tacos, and scrumptious desserts! The Millburn, NJ, location is equally fantastic! We always start with our favorite Arugula salad - generous portions. House salad, also incredible! We adore Garlic Old Bay Shrimp appetizers, fried calamari, crab cakes, BUTTERY lobster rolls, OMG!. For our entrées, we couldn't resist going all in! Seafood Linguine in Garlic Sauce, steamed clams, mussels, grilled salmon, and lobster tails with crabmeat stuffing (seasonal). If you don't see something on the menu that piques your interest, just ask your server if they can prepare it for you. What impresses me most is Greg's attention to detail, passion, and creativity in delivering exceptional, high-quality food, ensuring each guest feels welcome and appreciated. “Very nice and busy place a little wait for the table which meant missing the happy hour starters. Waitress was very stern and to point but service was good. Lots of inside and outside seating and the place was generally very clean and tidy. Had a drink at the bar to start and the bar tender was very friendly and helpful. All in all a good place to visit if you are up near the natural history museum and or you like fish.“

“The trout is the best in the area. The servers can be unprofessional and rude. When asked to tie back their hair, the request was refused. A nonsense response of not required was insulting. As an experienced service trainer, the hair in question should have been restraining. Health department requirements override a servers vain attitude.“

“I was very disappointed in the quality of the food, seasoning, sauce. Just extremely bland. The food tasted like when you go to a fish market and you get steamed food and though that can be good that's not what you expect when you go to shaking crab. The butter and garlic sauce was very thin and just had butter and garlic And it was very oily, I don't even think it was real butter. We had to ask for seasoning. But it wasn't the same. at all. Also they kept omitting items out of our food When we dined in. And, We had a to go order and we paid for eggs and noodles and when we got home we found out it wasn't there. So I'm going to give shake and crab another go but it will have to be in Brooklyn. Because the one that was in Harlem has permanently closed and when I tell you, that's sauce? superb! If the owner or manager is reading this please go back to the original. I understand that you are probably mostly around white people and they like to complain about things being too spicy but you're going to lose business that way. The people that like your food will come. But if you change what you're known for. It's ultimately going to be your demise.“

“If you haven't been to Q Grill in Fort Lee yet, you are seriously missing out. We had an great meal, but a few dishes absolutely stole the show.
The experience started off strong because the banchan was incredibly plentiful, giving us so many great sides to taste. A huge standout was the kimchi, it tasted so fresh yet beautifully and well-fermented, hitting that perfect balance of crunch and tang. For the main event, we opted for the Trinity Wagyu combination, and it was spectacular. The beef was incredibly velvety, rich, and luxurious. To call it tender is an understatement—every single bite practically melted in my mouth, packed with that premium, juicy flavor you only get from high-quality Wagyu cuts.
The JapChae was executed perfectly with that ideal, bouncy chew and a beautifully balanced, savory-sweet sesame soy sauce. We also ordered the spicy rice cakes with cheese, which were the ultimate comfort food—perfectly chewy with just the right amount of kick, smothered in melted, gooey cheese.
Between the generous sides, the cheese-pulled rice cakes, and the top-tier meats from the Trinity combo, Q Grill is officially a favorite. Can't wait to come back!“

“Chola is easily the best Indian restaurant in all of Manhattan and Northern Jersey. My wife and I drive in bi-weekly for their awesome food and ever changing menu.
