“Babka Bakery is a must visit for bread and pastry lovers!The cafe was packed when I visited on a Saturday afternoon, but it was well worth the wait.

Everything here is so incredibly fresh and made with such high-quality ingredients. The breads have that perfect crusty exterior and soft, flavorful interior. The cakes are works of art: layered, creamy, and not overly sweet, with options that range from classic Polish donuts-paczki, poppy seed roll- makowiec, gingerbread cake-piernik , to fruity tarts.

What sets this place apart is how it truly reminds me of the charming bakeries I’ve visited during my travels across Europe—Austria, Switzerland, Italy, you name it. The cozy atmosphere, the aroma of fresh baking filling the air, and that authentic attention to detail… nothing like this exists around here.

“Unregular Bakery was hands down the best bakery experience we had in NYC. The pastry display looks absolutely insane, and everything tastes just as good as it looks. We tried the croissant pudding, the K Bueno, and a cappuccino — all were amazing. The employee recommended we warm up the croissant pudding, and even did it for us — it was exactly what I had been craving after so many disappointing bakery visits in NYC. On top of that, he was super friendly, and you can really see how passionate he is about the bakery and pastries. We’d 100% come back to try all the other goodies.“

The outer layer of the pineapple bun is super buttery and crispy and the the bun itself is soft and fluffy. The pork inside is tender and was sweeter than I expected but it pairs so well with the little saltiness on the pineapple bun crust.

“Wish Upon a Pastry is a great Disney Inspired bakery in NJ. Michele and Torre, the owners are so nice and great to work with. They have really unique baked goods that are all absolutely delicious. They also take special orders. They are not dedicated gluten free but they offer a lot of gluten free options that are just as delicious as their other bakery items. I highly recommend this business.“

I stumbled upon it while walking toward the Arte Museum, and it turned out to be one of those unexpected gems you feel lucky to discover. As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted with the warm aroma of fresh bread, and the atmosphere is beautifully cozy and stylish.

“I’ve been meaning to try this bakery for a while now and finally got to try today with my husband. The breads were delicious, soft and chewy and fillings were not too sweet. We tried the hot chocolate with oat milk as well and it was smooth and not too sweet which was just perfect! Service was very friendly and efficient. I think a lot of the bakeries that have gone viral are severely overhyped. Petit Chou stands out because everything I have had from this bakery has been good.
Their chocolate chip cookie is also among the best in NYC.
The bakery doesn't have much seating. There is one counter with 4 chairs. And a second standing only counter. It can feel a bit cramped if you are enjoying your treats inside the bakery on a busy day.“
