“My wife and I generally eat for five people, we ordered 4 small plates and 2 mains, still looking into dessert. Each dish had its own layer of perfection with unique flavors and exquisite presentation. I’d say a restaurant on its way to becoming Michelin…..bravo! “This place was my wife and I first dinner reservation in the city during our trip. The service was so awesome I have to start there. Raya was amazing! She was a great server and went above and beyond taking my wife and I birthday pics. That elevated our experience in so many ways. The vibe and decor made the pictures standout. “Very impressed since they was decorating the place. I was passing by every day till they finally open and I desire to try the food, I was curious and also I’m not a vegan person. When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that. Highly recommended to everyone- vegan or not vegan- 🥗 the talent is there and I wish them success- nice location, sparkling clean - if you are looking for good food - this is your spot-“

“My cousin and I loved our experience, as this was our first time trying the food here. I'm not a take pictures of the food person, but the sweet plantain gnocchi and braised oxtails were amazing. I enjoyed the suya rib eye and espresso martini as well.
The vibe of the restaurant is super chill, we sat upstairs and the energy was great for a Friday night in Brooklyn.

“It can get really packed with long lines but they will service you with respect and you can always have a conversation on the line while you wait. Don’t come with an attitude and expect to rush in and out. Only thing is they do not take credit card / debit card as a payment only cash but that’s minor.“

“I looove sally's. They truly never miss. The jerk veggie dumplings, amazing. The tostones, huge and crispy. That dressing the greens are tossed in? I'd eat straight greens everyday with whatever that is. Random, but I love their crushed ice. The curried chicken is my favorite but everything is honestly so good. Staff is always super cool and friendly and the music is amazing.
When friends visit from out of town our go to place is always Sally's - whether it's for dinks or a good meal, the quality and consistency is there and it's a neighborhood favorite for me.“

“The food was great at BunNan and the service was amazing with Race and Jimmy, they were so accommodating and brought out a candle and a great desert that was bread pudding with cremas drizzled over it!!!!! The food was so good, the plantain sliders, the Tassot rice bowl, the meat was moist, not dry and it was tender. Their secret sauce is definitely a hit and the carmelized onions were amazing. “I was unfamiliar with this restaurant, but my husband received a gift card from his colleagues at his retirement party. We came for Valentine's Day and were very pleased with the choice! We started with Old Fashioned and Fried Green Tomatoes. Perfect batter and crunch. The bacon jam gave the perfect amount of bite. Mr. TSwi had fish (sorry - no photo). I had the garlic clove stuffed filet. It was fork-tender and so delicious. Potatoes fried in tallow butter were decadent. We had the Bread Pudding for dessert - and the leftover for breakfast Sunday morning. Overall, great value for the quality of the food. Not ridiculously expensive. Not ostentatious (TSwi wore jeans and a blazer and was well-dressed compared to others.) We will look forward to coming back again soon.“

“It’s become really hard to find consistently good jerk chicken these days. A lot of my former favorite spots have fallen off and with food like this, you can tell when the love and effort aren’t there anymore.
That said, this place absolutely nailed it. The jerk chicken was a home run perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. The rice and peas and the sides were just as impressive. If I lived closer, I’d honestly eat here every day. That’s how good it is.
The only small negatives were the packaging and the limited sauce, but truthfully, the chicken didn’t even need much extra. Overall, this spot is a definite hit.“

“Oxtail was a 10/10, absolutely amazing, and all the sides were great. I wasn’t a big fan of the brown stew chicken (the chicken itself was a bit dry), but the stew was rich and flavorful.
The atmosphere was perfect for a date night or a calm dinner. The owner’s wife even stopped by to let us know they have jazz on some Fridays and weekends, which was a really nice touch. They’re still new, so please be kind — but the FOOD WAS GOOD.We also tried the mango mint non-alcoholic drink, which was refreshing and delicious. Definitely worth checking out!“

“Today I had aloo pie with beef, so good. Well worth the time, money and trip. Double so soft, sweet and nice. Im was happy as I don’t spend money on outside food often. “This is THE spot. Jerk chicken is some of the best I've ever had. There's a good char that's smokey and flavorful without any bitterness. The spice is a warm heat with the right amount of sweet. Rice and peas cooked incredibly well, not dry at all. And the cabbage is perfectly tender not mushy. There patties are low-key solid. Curry Chicken is a bit better than the beef in my opinion opinion. But the crust on all is flakey and the filling is flavorful with good spice.
I've tried the fried chicken and macaroni both good but not worth getting. I just got for the jerk chicken platter and patties“

“Ate here with my family on a Saturday night. We took an uber to this location as we figured trying to find parking would not be good. The service and food was good. I couldn’t rate the food 5 stars as my steak was not the one I ordered and the meat was chewy. I didn’t rate the atmosphere 5 stars either as the place is quite small and not too much space to stand around while waiting for a table. If in the area, I do recommend stopping here for some authentic Cuban food.“

“I grew up eating Jamaican food and this is hands down the best Jamaican restaurant that I’ve been to in Brooklyn! The food is consistently delicious and made to order — no food sitting out on a heater waiting for someone to order. I’ve had the jerk shrimp, curry shrimp roti, jerk salmon, and other items and the food is always fresh, tasty, and plentiful. They sell juices and cake which are also amazing. I’ve been going here once a week since the pandemic started and I’m always so excited to get my food. The owner is amazing and is dedicated to always providing five star service and food.“

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Is it the best Jamaican beef patty I've ever had? No but overall our place that makes handmade Jamaican beef patties with a good overall flavor I recommend it. “Me and my large family had dinner at this restaurant to honor my fathers heavenly birthday. It was truly the best experience I've had at a restaurant in a very very long time and it was thanks to our waiter Jesus. He was very attentive and helpful. He saw that we had small children and helped us with their order first and then proceeded to take the rest of our orders. He really loved his job and was very warm and kind. The establishment as a whole is very nice and classy. Very grown and sexy. The music is perfect and the food was very good! The oxtail Lo Mein was so good. Its located inside Hotel Indigo, to the right after entering. I really really loved this experience. Thank you so much. I'll be back with my girlfriends or on a date❤️🙏🏽 A new staple spot for me.“

“Popped in for some food after hitting the pool - everything was so fresh. I got the fritura and was blessed with a massive portion of fried, fresh, incredible meats, cheese, and plantains. The chicken was so moist and juicy, the chicharron was deeply flavorful and had me floored; truly so fresh, tasted like a mama made it for me. My partner got the pernil and it was also incredible. 10/10!!!“

“BEST VENEZUELAN EMPANADAS IN TOWN!!
We ordered through Uber Eats and they arrived in about 20–30 minutes, still warm and absolutely delicious. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, with generous filling in every bite. The meat was beautifully seasoned, not too salty, not bland at all. You can really taste the care put into them.
I 100% recommend them and will definitely order again!“
