We ordered through Uber Eats and they arrived in about 20–30 minutes, still warm and absolutely delicious. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, with generous filling in every bite. The meat was beautifully seasoned, not too salty, not bland at all. You can really taste the care put into them.

“My cousin and I loved our experience, as this was our first time trying the food here. I'm not a take pictures of the food person, but the sweet plantain gnocchi and braised oxtails were amazing. I enjoyed the suya rib eye and espresso martini as well.

The vibe of the restaurant is super chill, we sat upstairs and the energy was great for a Friday night in Brooklyn.

It's been about a couple of years since I've been to the restaurant( about 5 years ) or more the deserts were tasty, only one thing I wish were the same the size of the currants roll, they are cutting them very small and selling them cheaper than any other bakery I know. “After moving to Bergen County I was on a mission to find the best Jamaican food spot. I’m from Queens, NY and I miss my South Ozone Park / West NY food.

I go to a gym nearby and just randomly found this spot and thank goodness I did.

The food is really good, everything is well balanced in terms of flavor and the hospitality is great.

We’ve all seen that “we don have dat” video and this is the opposite. If he doesn’t have it, give him a minute to work his magic. Your patience will be rewarded.

If you like good seasoned food, just give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. I know I wasn’t. I’ll be coming here every time I crave oxtails and fried chicken.“

“I was unfamiliar with this restaurant, but my husband received a gift card from his colleagues at his retirement party. We came for Valentine's Day and were very pleased with the choice! We started with Old Fashioned and Fried Green Tomatoes. Perfect batter and crunch. The bacon jam gave the perfect amount of bite. Mr. TSwi had fish (sorry - no photo). I had the garlic clove stuffed filet. It was fork-tender and so delicious. Potatoes fried in tallow butter were decadent. We had the Bread Pudding for dessert - and the leftover for breakfast Sunday morning. Overall, great value for the quality of the food. Not ridiculously expensive. Not ostentatious (TSwi wore jeans and a blazer and was well-dressed compared to others.) We will look forward to coming back again soon.“

“Oxtail was a 10/10, absolutely amazing, and all the sides were great. I wasn’t a big fan of the brown stew chicken (the chicken itself was a bit dry), but the stew was rich and flavorful.
The atmosphere was perfect for a date night or a calm dinner. The owner’s wife even stopped by to let us know they have jazz on some Fridays and weekends, which was a really nice touch. The produce is fresh and meats are delightfully tender and flavorful. Love in every bite and always a new culinary experience meal to meal.

The cocktails are perfectly balanced and the poured drinks are a thoughtful pairing to any dish.

The menu is literally curated from top down and if you find yourself in a spicy moment start in the middle of the drink menu and work your up or down depending on how feisty you’re feeling.

“Based on the name A&A Bake Doubles and Roti I figured I had to order some doubles so I got a veggie one for $3. They asked me a bunch of simple questions about what I wanted on it and I panicked and somehow got it with pumpkin which I hate. The doubles are pretty messy to eat so luckily they give you substantial napkins instead of those single ply deli ones. I also got an aloo pie for $2.50 which I've never had before and seems to be a donut with potato filling (an excellent invention for those of us who don't like sweet breakfast).“

“We ordered a pretty large takeout order and the food was incredible! My Dominican and Mexican parents can be really picky so we were really nervous. They loved the Moro and yucca in particular. All the meats were really good and our favorite was the pork and ropa vieja. The only thing (not well pictured) we weren’t a fan of was the tamale but one thing out of so much hardly bothered us. Stuffed avocados with shrimp ceviche will be something I always remember. Delivered with care and I’m sure we will order in the future again.“

“I grew up eating Jamaican food and this is hands down the best Jamaican restaurant that I’ve been to in Brooklyn! The food is consistently delicious and made to order — no food sitting out on a heater waiting for someone to order. I’ve had the jerk shrimp, curry shrimp roti, jerk salmon, and other items and the food is always fresh, tasty, and plentiful. They sell juices and cake which are also amazing. I’ve been going here once a week since the pandemic started and I’m always so excited to get my food. The owner is amazing and is dedicated to always providing five star service and food.“

“This is THE spot. Jerk chicken is some of the best I've ever had. There's a good char that's smokey and flavorful without any bitterness. The spice is a warm heat with the right amount of sweet. Rice and peas cooked incredibly well, not dry at all. And the cabbage is perfectly tender not mushy. There patties are low-key solid. Curry Chicken is a bit better than the beef in my opinion opinion. But the crust on all is flakey and the filling is flavorful with good spice.

“Popped in for some food after hitting the pool - everything was so fresh. I got the fritura and was blessed with a massive portion of fried, fresh, incredible meats, cheese, and plantains. The chicken was so moist and juicy, the chicharron was deeply flavorful and had me floored; truly so fresh, tasted like a mama made it for me. My partner got the pernil and it was also incredible. 10/10!!!“

“I go here often for lunch. Plenty of variety, and fairly quick service. I always get the ribs from Tejas + kids mac n cheese. Everything else was good too, but the Thai food here is lacking (they used italian pasta for the pad see eew (not rice noodles) and pasta was very al dente both times i tried here). Havent seen if they improved for that restaurant yet but I always come back for Tejas!“

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Is it the best Jamaican beef patty I've ever had? No but overall our place that makes handmade Jamaican beef patties with a good overall flavor I recommend it. “Me and my large family had dinner at this restaurant to honor my fathers heavenly birthday. It was truly the best experience I've had at a restaurant in a very very long time and it was thanks to our waiter Jesus. He was very attentive and helpful. He saw that we had small children and helped us with their order first and then proceeded to take the rest of our orders. He really loved his job and was very warm and kind. The establishment as a whole is very nice and classy. Very grown and sexy. The music is perfect and the food was very good! The oxtail Lo Mein was so good.
