“Ordered take out. Was looking for a great tasting sesame chicken made with white meat. Saw the reviews online and took a chance because so far the Asian restaurants I’ve been to do not make DELICIOUS sesame chicken. This place did not let me down. The sesame chicken was so delicious! I was so happy! This is, now, my go to place for sesame chicken. I didn’t like the dumplings. They were very doughy and chewy. No good. Next time I’ll order the Gyoza. Maybe that’s not doughy. I’ll try the fried rice too and see how that goes. But for sure I’ll be coming back!“

“We came in a party of five - two adults and three kids. We ordered one tsukemen, two ramen (deluxe and miso), one kid’s meal, and one fried chicken (karaage with Korean spicy sauce). All were delicious and filling. Anime is playing from a projector on the wall, which kept my boys occupied and quiet 😉. Staff were polite to us and the kids. “Amazing food! My husband and I stopped by for Friday night dinner. We tried the fried calamari, Pad Kana Moo Grob (Sautéed crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli in garlic sauce.), Pork Chops Vegetable Garlic Sauce, crab fried rice and for dessert, the mango coconut sticky rice. “It's awesome to have a sushi place so close to home (and in Harlem!) the sushi is good and the bento, and meal combos are great. They even have Japanese brand teas, ramune, and mochi to top it all off.

Charlie’s Place is now Harlem Place of Sushi. The Asian staff seem to be gone, but everything I’ve had is still of the same quality.“

“I’ve never seen a pho place offer catfish (much less any other fish) to go with their pho. The vegetarian option is also a plus so it’s a pescatarian’s dream. Also, this place is legit Vietnamese unlike many pho places that are. Chinese owned.“

“I just realized I’ve never reviewed Myung Dong Noodle House, even though I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. That’s probably because every time I visit, I’m completely engrossed in how great the food is.

Don’t be fooled by the name “Noodle House” — there is so much more here than just noodles. From comforting tofu soup and traditional Korean soups to an excellent variety of classic dishes, the menu offers something for every craving.

What truly sets this place apart is how wholesome and satisfying the food feels. Honestly, “healthy food” might be a more fitting name. Many of the dishes have a real sense of well-being to them — creative, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared without ever sacrificing taste.

Some of our favorites are the braised fermented kimchi with pork, grilled bulgogi, and the grilled fish served with traditional Korean bean paste soup, accompanied by cold green tea. And of course, the kalguksu is always a must-have.

The burger was super good. juicy, fresh, and actually tasted like something you’d want again, not just fast food filler. The bun was soft but held everything together, and the fries were crispy and salty in a good way.
