“I live up the street so I buy at the fish market more often. The prices no longer seem high once the fish is prepared and eaten. I wouldn’t know where to find better fish. Whole Foods is just ruined after this, you’ll never go back.

“One of the best lobsters I’ve ever tasted! My husband and I drove all the way from New Jersey to visit this place after hearing they serve great lobster, and it did not disappoint. The trip was absolutely worth it and every penny spent. The green salad was also delicious and tasted very fresh. We will definitely be coming back! 🦞“

The clams casino is one of the best dishes I’ve had in my twenty years in New York hands down. Don’t sleep on the prawns or the lobster orzo. The burger is very tasty but maybe not worth the price but everything else is truly unfathomably scrumptious. Been here twice now. Plan on being back as much as my wallet can handle it.“

“It's decent. I would say for the same price, 7th Street Burger and Harlem Shake is better but still a fine place to go. I got the fried chicken and it didn't have much flavor - you can see the chicken is still pale yellow (comparatively to seasoned fried chicken/fried long enough chicken). Although looking at the burger again, the patties seem larger than the ones at either of the first two places I mentioned if you're looking for quantity.“

They have the fahsa, they have the kibdeh, and of course they have the haneeth but they also have Yemeni favs that are not usually found at other restaurants: shafoot, Sana’a kebab, and roti bread! “I went to El Pingüino about two weeks ago and absolutely loved that they offer happy hour seven days a week and it’s becoming a routine for us!
The hours are 4–7 PM, plus a late-night happy hour from 10 PM to midnight.

Their seafood happy hour is pretty simple they only offer one type of oyster but it was super fresh and delicious. Clean, lightly briny, and perfect with just a squeeze of lemon.

And they have really great basque cheesecake!

The overall vibe is relaxed and easygoing, making it a great spot to unwind after work or grab a late-night drink.

They provide a very reasonable, flat, per person rate for a prix fix menu (many places have a very high spend minimum) and they created a personalized menu card for our event which was a lovely, personalized touch.

The food is amazing - one dish was better than the last. They accommodated for allergies and allowed me to make a last minute change.
