“If you love fresh seafood, this is a must go place, but on a pricey side. Good news is that they eliminated the kitchen fee charges. They serve authentic Cantonese seafood which reminds me of eating in Hong Kong. Their service staffs are very attentive.

Loved their live king crab, they serve it in 3 ways, we like them as follow: first, steam with garlic sauce and noodle underneath the crab. Second, fry and third is fried rice. Steam oysters are excellent. Shrimp was exceptional. Steam fish was very good. Fried spare rib was ok. But overall, we loved their food a lot.“

“Had dinner at Tavern 157 with friends last night and had such a great experience! The atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was excellent. Definitely try the foie gras uni and oysters. They also have an amazing happy hour menu—perfect for a night out with friends!“

“For us, the food was hit or miss. Right from the start, the Sardine toast was the star of the night, then there was aRazor clam special, which was 50/50... the clams were great, but we didn't prefer the melon taste to the dressing. After that, we had the mortadella and sourdough. Both were very good. Ate that we had the snap pea salad and the mitake mushrooms with garlic fudge. Again, both were excellent. It was the mains that just fell apart for us. The bucatini had slices of squash on top that were dry, and a bit too much basil, which overpowered the dish. Other than the basil, it was lacking in flavor. The other main was the hake and risotto. While the risotto was heavily citrussed, almost too much so, it was still tasty, but the fish, again, lacked flavor/ seasoning/ salt. Overall, the meal was a 3.5, but we bumped it to a 4, because worth the omission of the mains, it could have been a 4.5-5.“

“They just revamped their menu and I’m all here for it! My favorites were the rice noodle rolls wrapped with tofu, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, carrots and preserved radish, Thai beef stew and the Panang short ribs. The beef stew was SO tender and collagen rich, literally every bite was melt in your mouth. Short ribs, also as expected, tender and flavorful. The Thai ice cream was a perfect finish - sweet toppings, cold coconut ice cream, warm pandan sticky rice - all different flavors and textures but all work together in harmony.“

We accomobied the wine and discussions with Sushil unrolled and Chicory salad, both tastes great and were the right size for 2.

Tucked in the back is an intimate chef's counter serving a seven-course tasting menu. Watching the chefs work right in front of you while every course is personally introduced makes the entire dinner feel like a story unfolding course by course. Some of my favs: The Lox, Chicken Wing, Pork Collar + Olive Oil Cake.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolutely incredible NYC dining experience!

There are so many restaurants in NYC, but Strange Delight is one you genuinely do NOT want to miss. From the food and drinks to the service and hospitality, everything about our experience was phenomenal.

We started with the Old Fashioned and Vieux Carré, and both drinks were outstanding. For an appetizer, we ordered the smoked fish dip — and WOW. Absolutely incredible. It was so good that literally the two tables next to us ordered the exact same thing after seeing ours, and we were all raving about it together. That says everything!

Then came the crab dirty rice and the blackened swordfish belly. Jesus. 🤤 These dishes were incredible. So damn good, packed with flavor, and completely worth ordering. I honestly can’t recommend them enough.

The service absolutely deserves five stars as well. The staff was attentive without being overbearing and was there for us every step of the way. They genuinely helped make the entire evening feel special.

But I have to give an extra and very special shoutout to Geri, the General Manager. The biggest reason I wanted to give this restaurant credit beyond the food and drinks was the help I received before we even arrived. I was trying to reserve a specific time because I wanted to make this a special birthday date for my partner, and Geri went above and beyond to help make it happen. She was incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had the experience I was hoping for.

I cannot thank Geri and the entire staff enough for all of their help and for making the evening such a treat.
Great food. Phenomenal drinks. Outstanding service. And truly exceptional hospitality.

“I went to a family friend’s 70th birthday party they hosted in the Atlantic ballroom. The space was modern and very clean. The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the workers, Yiselle, Estrellita, and Shorty (blonde) made the event so memorable! They paid attention to every detail, whether it was filling our water cups, collecting unused plates and of course they did it all with a warm smile. They were kind, funny and very welcoming. “Every dish at Greenpoint Fish & Lobster was on point. The west coast oysters were so good that we ordered them 3 times! The crudo and tuna tostada were refreshing and a great way to start our meal. Octopus salad was my favorite dish, loved the olives with it. Lobster roll with butter (not mayo) was great too. Fries came crispy just how they should be. This is definitely a place to go in a group so you can try several dishes and flavors. Servers were friendly and helpful too. Large wine selection and they let you try as many as you’d like! Only negative comment is that the seating wasn’t very comfortable, but the quality of the food made up for it. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a seafood spot in Brooklyn.“

A few of us did the Rana Table brunch and we were not prepared. It’s a full family style feast and it just keeps coming. Borek, marinated beyaz cheese, kizartma, artichoke spread, Izmir pine honey with kaymak, soujuk, menemen… dish after dish of incredibly fresh, flavorful Aegean food. All for $35 a person.
