“Great sandwiches. Good staff. Great hot food. But the prices are unaffordable and at this point as much as I love the food, I won't return ever. Ordered 2 heros. Philly cheese steak and a chicken cutlet hero fresh mutz. 1 order of lasagna about 5 inch square and a tiny rice pudding.
Total price 55 dollars.
Sigh. Smh.
Great store. Great food.
But like I said , absolutely unaffordable
Good things never last.

“It’s a very charming place with great options for vegan and non vegans alike. My father and son had the vegan pasta with meatballs while I had the vegan tacos, my father and son are not vegan. We also opted for some natural smoothies. Needless to say, the food and atmosphere were great, the prices are reasonable and the workers are very nice. Very satisfied ??.“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

First of all, it's gorgeous, so sunshine-y and green. We sat at the bar and the service was great. We ordered the cantaloupe slushies and they were so, so good! They weren't overly strong + they mix them themselves, just a few ingredients. The guac was a little small but delicious. The pork tacos were pretty expensive for 2, I thought, until I tasted them. WOW, so good. We were so busy catching up, we didn't realize they'd closed to get ready for dinner. They emphasized we hadn't overstayed our welcome, we could stay as long as we needed.
And the disco-themed restroom + playlist? Excellente“

“I love HanGawi and once I learned the owners also run another vegan Korean food restaurant, Franchia, I knew I had to try. And it did not disappoint! I’ve been countless times since then. Really nice ambience—I recommend the higher floors for more privacy (but is less accessible given the stairs). Tried the following: - Thai iced tea: awesome to find a semi-affordable vegan version of Thai iced tea! - Jeon (Korean savory pancakes) Combo: absolutely delicious and great to share, fun to share a mix of the flavors (sweet corn cilantro, scallion, and kimchi) - Crispy Korean Chili Tofu: really delicious and the perfect amount of heat in the sauce and crisp texture of the tofu - Sizzling Mushroom: disappointing, had a congealed texture, not super flavorful (doesn’t compare to the version at HanGawi) - Tofu Crumble Bibimbap: tasty - Spicy Kimchi Bibimbap: very good if you like kimchi! - Vegetarian “Duck”: good with a fake meat texture (Side note: I much prefer the bibimbap at HanGawi but the ones at Franchia are solid) Updated from previous review on 2025-08-16“

“Transparently, I only came to meet a friend for one cocktail in the afternoon and she ended up being over an hour late due to an unforeseen circumstance, yet the staff was still so incredibly kind to let me sloooooowwwwly nurse my single iced tea and wait at a a cozy little table near the back until my friend arrived.

We both got breakfast burritos and they were delicious. I do wish there was some kind of salsa option but the chipotle mayo was really tasty with it. It was very difficult to choose what to get because the whole menu sounds incredible. I was worried the food would be too heavy but there's a large selection of healthier looking options as well. “I can’t say enough good things about this place. Firstly, the food is knock out good, my husband and I literally moan with each bite; that’s how good it is. Everything is homemade with such care. The two owners are the sweetest people in the world; I feel seen and so welcomed every time I come in. My husband and I head all the way here from Astoria, Queens! “We came here on a Sunday early afternoon and had one of our best recent dining experience. We live close by so we went in hoping it would be a gem and it absolutely didnt dissappoint. The garlic naan might just be the best we’ve ever had. The mussels were very fresh and not sure if it’s the season but the flesh was super fat. The sauce it was cooked in was also very very good. Dipping the naan in that sauce was straight heaven. We also ordered the rotisserie chicken, which we thought was a bit pricey at first but man, it was cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy skin, JUICY all throughout, with grilled lemons and a decent sauce. The service was also phenomenal. Our server had great energy, and provided us the perfect balance of attentiveness and space.
The vibe of this place is also top notch. The modest exterior is only hiding the spaceous, modern, and elegant interior.
Overall, we could not be more thrilled about this find and will definitely be coming back to try their drinks and sea bass dish! Highly recommended for an absolute treat.“

I was there close to closing time and was worried they would be low on options, but they still seemed to have everything stocked. Food was decent but felt a little overpriced (especially the desserts). Good if you are in a hurry and need a quick meal.“

“Food was pretty good only had the pork t taco, shrimp taco and frozen Mojito. The drinks were strong and delicious. The shrimp taco was soo good The pork taco lacked flavor. The ambiance is cool.btje bright walls give it a festive vibe however during the summer there isn't much difference between inside or outside seating. By the time we left our table from inside, our clothes were sticking to our bodies. It's a sauna that with fans that blow hot air with a one working bathroom. Other than that I was satisfied.“
