“My wife and I stopped here in Oct 2021 on our way up to Connecticut after a 5 hour flight from Las Vegas to JFK and battling NYC traffic after getting the rental car. After a full day of traveling, she and I were both exhausted and hungry. The restaurant itself and the pizza were absolutely awesome. I only gave service 3 stars because they wouldn’t let my wife use the restroom. I can’t remember why. Overall, I’d come back. The pizza and the staff were both awesome. “It had been quite some time since I’d been here and the food was just as delicious as I remembered!Our group ordered Clams, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, Bow tie pasta with Pesto sauce, and an Arrabbiata pasta that was not on the menu.The pesto dish was practically licked clean . It was a large portion eaten by a tiny friend who seldom finishes her plate . The fact that she she managed to devour the entire plate speaks volumes as to the flavor.. They were very attentive, without being intrusive.I had to take a star away from the atmosphere simply because the overhead heaters in the patio area became too hot, and while they were incredibly accommodating in turning them off, it became too cold. They called to tell me it was a mistake and they stopped delivering already, but when I explained that it was for my kids and we didn't have other options because we were heading home from the airport, they graciously agreed to make the food and deliver it to us! “The food was incredible, amazing point is that the owner recognized me and was excited to see me. However when I asked the server what mocktails they had he said they could do orange juice and cranberry juice. Which is insulting, might as well give it to me in a kids cup. I was there not three weeks prior and the server went to the bar to get a list of mocktails I could have and went above and beyond so I could have something other then juice or water and make me feel apart of the table. It's also very embarrassing when I get told I can have a juice, when the server looked and sounded irritated that I wasn't ordering a wine or cocktail. “First time at Trattoria Sei. The inside was nicely decorated, warm ambiance. The food was delicious, very generous portions. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese made with ground beef and veal. Highly recommend it. We also got a salad which was one of the specials and had pickled beets, blueberries, crumbled blue cheese, and it was very delicious! I also have to commend our server, Sophia, who was very attentive to us!“

“If you're going to get a flat tire, I strongly recommend that you get one on NY-22, right in front of this deli, as I did. The staff are lovely (a man and his mother) and speak Italian to one another. They make their own mozzarella, soup, and at least some pastries, if not all. Cannoli are filled to order and excellent. Another pastry (crostata?), cut into squares with a shortbread-like crust, cherry jam and chocolate was even more spectacular and something that I *must* come back for. The man told me it was homemade. The sfogliatelle pastry was a little tough and stale, but the thick, ricotta-rich filling was delicious. To be fair, these things have a very short shelf life. I gave it a few minutes in the toaster oven when I finally made it home and the texture was far improved. The son patiently answered my questions [e.g. how to properly pronounce "sfogliatelle," how much the fresh mozzarella costs (about $11 / lb)] and the mother kindly warmed up some pasta e fagioli for me. Sandwiches seem to be the focus here -- the menu is vast! -- but I sorely needed the warm-you-from-the-inside-out comfort of soup at that moment. The rich broth full of red beans, potatoes, and carrots absolutely hit the spot. It's too bad that it took a flat tire to get me in this place. We've been driving by for years and have clearly been missing out all this time!“

However, the customer service is lovely and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was.Prices are reasonable and everything is fresh and well served. I would personally appreciate a larger menu and having the able pizza types on display to make the ordering process easier. This really seems like a “dial in” joint and it would be nicer if more tables were able to sit. But, given the quality of the pizza, I would happily stop in again.Parking: While spots are available, there is no depth to the parking lot. “Came here on a whim with a large group (19 of us) after we had dinner up the street. They were super accommodating even though they were very busy. Service and drinks were great, we really enjoyed ourselves! We’ve been here several times before and the service and drinks are always top notch. “Last week, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Il Villagio. The restaurant was highly recomended to us by my wife's coworker. We were greeted warmly and sat promptly. We had a 6:30 reservation. The service from start to finish was warm, friendly and professional. We started with a crisp tender fried calamari and the roasted beet salad. So many times calamari is a hit or miss. This was an excellent version. The beet salad was tender, earthy and sweet. The crunchy pistacios and orange vinaigrette were a nice touch. My wife ordered Chicken Millanese and I ordered Gnocchi Bolognese. Both were excellent. The chicken was crisp and tender. The arrugula was peppery with a drizzle of lemon and virgin olive oil. Great balance. The Gnocchi was a great choice as there was a chill in the air. My definition of comfort food. Recently I have notice some resturants are going with a cheaper grated cheese, not Il Villagio. The Peccorino was perfectly salty and sharp. During our meal several people came over to check on us including the owner. I told he should be very proud of his staff. This restaurant is doing a great job. The provide quality service, excellent food and a warm friendly staff. It was a 25-30 drive for us. A drive I will be doing again real soon. Thank you to all“

“A cozy Italian-American in Mahopac on Route 6, that is worth a trip from anywhere! The review, may sound like hyperbole, but it's not! A friend mentioned it had good food, great prices, and table service and he was going down there, so we all stopped in for lunch. Great decision. The prices are very reasonable! One of the best Italian-American restaurant/pizzerias I've found in years; and I've eaten more than my share of pizza in many countries. Only top quality ingredients are used! We each ordered a different 12" pizza, one for each of us. In hindsight, we could've ordered one pizza that the three of could have shared and would we have been satiated! My significant other ordered a prosciutto and arugula pizza. She had one at Cancino's in Mexico City November 2019 and LOVED it. We've never seen it on another menu here. So, when she saw it on their menu, she ordered it right away! It was perfect! There was about 4 ounces of arugula and the $20 something a pound prosciutto on it. See the photo. No crispy cremated prosciutto chips nor wilted arugula arrived to the table. My friend had the red meat pizza. It looks like about a pound of sausage meat and a whole pepperoni was sliced and put on his pizza. He kept picking pepperoni off his pizza and putting it on ours. What we had looked like a normal pepperoni pizza; there was that much on his! There was a small group who ordered pasta dishes. They looked great also. Yelpers get a 10% discount.“

“Went in to get some breakfast and so glad I did. Food is delicious, I’m catholic and lent just started so when I went to see the breakfast/lunch buffet they had I was a little sad the eggs had meat on them but the guy behind the counter offered to make me new eggs with veggies on them and I’m glad I took his offer because they were delicious. I also added beans, plátano, potatoes, and he added cheese and crema, also offered me tortillas, which are thicker than Mexican tortillas but so much flavor and let just say I’m hooked. Also so many choices for beverages, they have a machine for fresh orange juice but I opted to try the horchata, I’ve had it before and I wasn’t a fan but I said to myself let me try it again and I don’t know if there’s a difference between countries for horchata but this was hit the spot, so refreshing and yummy. Best Salvadoran spot I’ve found so far and since I’m a local I’m glad is so close to me. “I used to come here all the time before COVID, and I had the pleasure of going back this week. I was pleased to see that the restaurant had undergone some renos. It looks wonderful! My party of 4 was seated immediately in a comfy spot near the warm fireplace. Service was great throughout the whole meal. Several servers continued to check in on us throughout our time at the restaurant, and they were kind and respectful. I ordered the Fettuccine alla Bacio, which was very tasty! “Love Maria's Pizza when we moved up here to Yorktown a few years ago Maria was the first pizza shop we ordered from and they never disappoint. The service and delivery is great and everybody's always very nice when they answer and take our orders. Definitely recommend Maria's pizza and we're definitely going to try there. The drunken chicken is my favorite chicken Parm pizzas excellent. Tried the new cannoli chips and dip loved we're gonna soon try Maria's famous 3 foot pizza cause we'll be having a gathering so we're gonna try that when ordering it arrives early and hot so if you're in the Yorktown area, try Maria's Pizza. “The next stop on my CertaPro Painters Pizza challenge was Amores in Katonah. Lots of options in the display case. I went with the meat lovers and the caprese. Cookies JUST came out of the oven and the place smelled amazing. Had to grab me one of those. Staff was friendly, a good experience and I’d go back.“

“After eating here a few times for dinner and or lunch we decided it was a great place to do our office holiday party. I had noticed they have a private room with large glass doors and inquired about booking it. They got back to me really quick with a better deal than anything else local we could find, meal options, etc. But honestly we would have paid more. They printed us out menus for our event. They lined up two tables for dining and have the extra tables for a white elephant gift exchange. We chose to have appetizers served family style (nanas bread with cheese sauce and marinara, crispy meatballs ( these were so good!) tomato and mozz salad and calamari) there were a few plates of each dish placed and timed so we weren’t overwhelmed . Then we had four options- chicken piccata, halibut, pasta ragu and a vegetarian option. After this came out we did our gift swap and then had coffee accompanied by tiramisu and a lemon crostata dessert. This didn’t feel like a under thought buffet style party. It came out in courses- we had plenty of time to enjoy each other outside of our office. We didn’t feel rushed. The wait staff was so on top of everything. No one had to ask for refills etc. Multiple managers came in to check on us periodically ( and the owners brother) and they packed up whatever we didn’t eat. We actually took all the desserts back to the office. All in all I would 10000 percent suggest this for anyone looking for a party location. While we enjoyed it for a large office plus spouses Christmas party, it was spacious enough that I could see rehearsal dinners, retirement parties graduations etc. Everyone left happy! We’ll be booking it again in the future.“

“Food was good. Service was quick the location is nice but it's a little small. I only had typical El Salvadorian pupusas. They were very good. I would go back for those again but seems like a lot of people came for the soups. Which I didn't try. It gets busy but mostly take out. I would order the Spanish food since everyone there is Spanish. I don't think the Italian side of the kitchen will be as good as the el Salvadorian one since there is not Italians cooking it.“

“Nestled in the corner next to the DeCicco Family Market in Katonah, NY is an unexpected pleasure called the Farmhouse Tavern. The upscale feel from the rich earthy tones, period moldings, and tin ceiling all heighten ones expectations. The talented chef and personable and attentive bar tender, Nick, delivered on every level. We started with Steamed Clams bathed in an aromatic broth of garlic, chorizo, shallots, and white wine. It was so good we asked for more bread and made certain little was left behind. For our entrees, I chose Faroe Island Salmon with a tasty dijon mustard sauce, sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes. It was a perfect compliment to the Steamed clams. My partner chose their Lump Crabment Ravioli in a Brown Butter and Sage Sauce. The flavors danced on our tongues and were beyond sublime in taste. We had no room for dessert and look forward to returning and adding that in too. They offer live music from time to time, so you may luck out big one Thursday night. “I'll up it to 5 because it is very rare I find good Italian food around here. Been driving past this place for so many years and finally decided to stop for take-out. The salad that came with the entree was absolutely delicious. Usually I throw the side salads out they are so bad. The chicken parm was huge, tender, flavorful and the best we've had in the area. The spaghetti was also perfectly al dente with a surprisingly delicious sauce -- neve had a good side of pasta for take-out as usually it is mush. Chicken paillard was okay-- not as flavorful as hoped. Service was very friendly and would definitely return for that chicken parm and salad!“
