“I was about to post “for airport food this is really good”; however, we enjoyed a very good breakfast that matched or exceeded most meals we enjoyed from a week in the city.
Cooked to order breakfast, great dripped coffee and excellent service from the entire staff.

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

The General Manager is perhaps once of the nicest people we've ever met, and he truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. We discussed how we had been so busy during our trip to the city that we didn't even have time to try NY pizza. During our tasting menu experience, an "off menu" item was brought to the table by the GM himself. Under the cloche was A PIECE OF PIZZA FROM HIS FAVORITE LOCAL SPOT. We will never forget this night and highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a romantic, fine dining venue. We will be back!“

“This is such a great place in the WV, honestly sometimes it feels so hard to find a place that isn’t geared to tourists or sort of a bland palette. This restaurant is way more chic and interesting that most of the restaurants in the area while also serving approachable food. This will be my new go-to when I have something to do in the neighborhood. Not to mention the service was really great and the vibe of the space is just right. I must say it sometimes is lame to order the bread and butter but it is really spectacular!“

“Stumbled upon this place while trying to find some Hungarian and Romanian food in NYC and we were very happy to have found Oti. The customer service was excellent, very friendly staff, a delicious food. “Exquisite. Ben Hopkins - who runs the drink program, has created an unbelievable cocktail & drink program - there really is something for everyone including great N/A options. I’d say it’s worth it just for drinks alone, however, the food was also UNREAL. A celebration of low country cooking reimagined, with the nostalgia of a French bistro, with flavors and spices from around the world. Our server Jodi was not only excellent and attentive, she was fun, and spoke about the food like a chef. Even helped us course our meal so certain flavors wouldn’t mix. It was above and beyond.

“five leaves was the first restaurant i visited on my first ever trip to nyc in 2017.
ever since then coming back here has become a tradition.
8 years on and the spot is still just as warm and welcoming, albeit way more busy which is incredible to see because the place deserves to thrive. easily my fav spot in the city (i fully blame the ricotta pancakes).
i haven’t been to nyc in years but coming back here today felt like coming home in so many ways.
thank you cody for taking such great care of me and thank you everyone at five leaves for even making a tourist feel like a part of the community. 🫶 (also pls restock those tote bags, the nation needs them!!)“

“A chic and unique wine bar featuring chocolate pairing.
Don't let the name fool you - there's also quite a bit to eat here...

We actually came for a night cap - had the must-have chocolate martinis, hazelnut and raspberry, both were delicious.
We also had a cheese platter and a fondue eith fruit, marshmallows and rice crispies.

While the cocktails were stellar - the rest was rather forgettable.
But it does feel like the unique combination of chocolate and wine should be enjoyed here.

All in all, a very recommended place for the lovers of both wine and chocolate.“

“We had an exceptional dinner tonight. The food, the service and the ambiance all added up to a memorable evening. I want to especially highlight our server Francisco and the Manager Alex who went above and beyond to make us feel like old time regular guests. No one needs to tell you that but what’s really cool is that my wife and I went and I’ve been drying out this September but still wanted an experience of trying a bunch of craft cocktails. They killed it. Every drink was so cool and I even bought one of the bottles (photo). It’s just super cool for a place this famous and established to still have a commitment to service so high they’ll cater to some clown who wants to explore off-menu, zero proof cocktails. “Had a wonderful brunch today at Hudson Clearwater. The smoothie was outstanding. This is a quaint rustic spot and deserves all the love for their vegan friendly menu. I chose the blackened fish sandwich and it did not disappoint. The Cole slaw on the brioche bun, lightly covered with tarter sauce, made for a perfect sandwich. Their fries were delectable as well. Great service, and a great meal with my sweetheart.“

Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. “Classy place, very friendly staff, starting with the nice hostess. Got a booth in the back. Ordered black label and regular burgers, bone marrow, French onion soup. Had a great server who told us fries were cooked with refined peanut oil since a guest had a peanut allergy. Refilled waters and drinks and checked on us a few times. Oysters are amazing, not a single bad one and no grit either, so shout out to the shuckers. One of my favorite places in the city, can’t wait to go back.“

“The best 5 course meal my wife and I have ever had thus far. Our hands down favorite, and rightfully so as sushi fanatics, was the hamachi. Talk about fresh on fresh on fresh on fresh. Fresh fish, fresh fruit, fresh sauce, fresh cream, fresh presentation—insanely delicious and refreshing.

The tiger bread was some of the most exceptional bread we've ever had as well. The garlic was as buttery smooth to spread as the whipped butter itself, and was pleasantly flavorful without being overly potent.

My next course was the butternut squash rigatoni. The garnish on top was light and crisp and added that extra accent to the whole dish to round it off beautifully. My wife got the iberico pork, which was cooked to tender perfection. The broccoli mash concoction that came with it was reminiscent of broccoli rabe but basically in it's ultimate form anime-style. Crazy inventive.

The next course for me was the beer battered monkfish with risotto and was actually the best beer battered anything I've ever tasted. Superior crisp encasing that mouth melting fish. The risotto had crispy chunks in it as well and helped offset the heaviness of the fried fish like a wife offsets her husband's hard shell exterior and gives way to his heart of flesh. Speaking of, my wife got the lamb with risotto and it was yet again a perfectly tender cut of meat. It was smokey and carried a more intense flavor, which also was rounded out by the gentleness of the risotto, complimenting it on that marital level yet again.

Lastly, the desserts came in and ended the whole show the same way it began—with favorite-level energy. It was the solid second favorite course for both of us. Mine was the panna cotta. Yo. It went crazy. It was like a salted caramel apple cheesecake, but after finding a way to dial in each ingredient to the max before artistically laying it all out on a plate without any of the cheesecake crust. I LOVE sweet/savory, and it encapsulated that in a dessert beautifully. My wife had the chocolate cake with ice cream, and like we don't even know how to properly describe how good that one was—but here goes nothing. The cake was dark dark and rich rich from the sauce oozing on top to the moist pastry itself. The ice cream had a citrus undertone to it that balanced out the richness of the cake. Literally, yin and yang on a plate with the freshest chocolate drenched cherries on top. Good Lord, the Lord is good indeed.

The service was top notch, from the warm greetings, to the coat check in, to the menu break down, to the seamless water refilling and course transitions. We are big on omakase type meals as sushi heads, and this was up there while being a fraction of the price. There was a chill and comforting vibe to the whole restaurant as well. Take a trip here and let them take your palette on a trip it will sing praises on the whole way through. Bless.“

I can honestly honestly say that was the most spectacular food I have ever had. The cocktails were great and the service was outstanding. I’d go here every night if I could!“

Their Dutch baby “Primadonna” pancake and lobster roll are to die for. Much of what is on the menu it’s imported from Italy of the finest ingredients. It’s always fun to take the ferry across from Manhattan to the Pepsi Cola Sign and walk a couple of blocks. They can accommodate large groups, children, pets, wheelchairs, (you name it) at their outdoor seating. Run there. 😊💕“

“Went to try this spot and had a great experience. Food was excellent, very creative and draws from French and new American cuisines and preparations. Each dish was very creative and delicious. Beer and wine only here, but they had some interesting orange ones on the menu. Service was decent, the place seemed a bit plain, and the plate ware could have been nicer but overall the courses were incredible. Would return for sure.

The service was excellent and the staff was so kind and accommodating. The pace of the meal was also spot on.
