“Good Ramen 🍜 and environment“

“I was craving a poke bowl today at a certain time and happened to stumble across this place. It was my first time entering Sukiya Ramen and Poke. The lady greets you as soon as you walk in. She is very attentive and sweet! They have a flyer for you to fill out if you want to create your own poke bowl. Which is very organized! She took my order and I ordered to stay. The man that works there served me my food. Everything was fresh and I finished the entire bowl. It was worth coming there and I will be coming back!“

“What a nice cozy place. We sat at the bar. It was great. Our bartender was so Attentive, btw. We had the same name. Jane was super friendly. We mostly got appetizers, they got a lot of selection. We got shishito pepper, pumpkin tempura, crispy squid legs, spicy wings, crispy rice spicy tuna and chicken teriyaki. They were so good. We loved everything we got. We will come back for ramen for sure.

Vegetarian options: I saw one Vegetarian ramen. And couple appetizers and Salad“

“I ordered the tonkatsu ramen, flavor was good but birth was really oily. Also ordered the tatsuta age, the sauce in the side was good but the fried chicken bites were disappointing, it was more the odd batter than chicken. The miso soup was the best part of the meal.“

“Local ramen spot in Astoria, this is the spot. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. The food was overall great, with the ramen broth being less salty than I remember last which was a nice touch. Definitely go for the classic for those who enjoy pork, the katsu was so soft and fluffy. The karage was crispy and juicy and the tako was as expected. Will be back to try other items soon!“

“This is definitely an out of the ordinary ramen restaurant. To start with, you have a remote hostess ? then you are encouraged to order and pre-pay your food from your table. Fortunately, the restaurant was not full and the waiter had the consideration to take our order ?

The food was good ? I ordered a black mountain ramen, which had an earthy pleasant taste. We also ordered edamame, and gyozas ? everything was good

“This place has been my favorite to have ramen and I wish I could give it 4.5 stars instead of 4. However they need to train their staff more because a few days ago I asked the waitress about the difference between tonkotsu's broth and miso's, it took her 5 seconds to think and only replied "The miso one has miso" without articulating how it tastes. Luckily the miso came out great and I enjoyed the meal. Will definitely come back!“

“Ramen was excellent. So savory and delicious, it's rare you can feel the broth very tasty. I barely finish my ramen but that day bowl was empty. I loved the experience and hoping to come back. My fiance got a chicken dish, can't remember the name but it was actually good as well. They do know how to cook!“

“This ramen shop is a gem to the Greenpoint community. I am on my second visit, and have not been disappointed with the quality of the food. The chicken broth which is difficult to make has been carefully cooked, the noodles are not over cooked, and the combined ingredients to my Chicken pai tan ramen was enjoyable.

I do wish I had one more piece of chicken breast meat in my ramen because it was cooked perfectly. Yet another ingredient that is difficult to cook if not carefully monitored. Trust me I made alot of rubber chicken meals and still do.

“Came as part of their soft opening. Vibes are great and they have a robot that brings the food to your table (which is really cool). Ordering to-go is seamless with the Kiosk too. Service was super attentive and they even gave me a free drink while I waited :)“

“We walked in and it was pretty vacant however, it was lunch time on a Monday so that wasn't much of a surprise. It had a large selection of noodles, if you walk in and see the wall you'll see all the various options and then some. It was a little ambiguous until we saw the kiosk. The food however, was amazing. We got the beef and the duck duck noodles. You do have to make your own noodles and the instructions are on the tray on how to do it. Would definitely try again!“

“Good day, we were greeted upon entry and initially planned on dining in. The cashier was pleasant to me. She was also seemingly ok with me expressing it being my first time and the Inquiries I made. We decided to eat in the vehicle due to parking meter. I stayed in the vehicle while my friend went inside to pick up our order. Upon returning, I was informed that the same cashier was rude about us changing our order to go. Anyways the vegetable ramen bowl was great but my friend was not pleased with the shrimp teriyaki bowl.

Vegetarian options: I loved how fresh my mushrooms were in my bowl. There were also other options on the menu.

Dietary restrictions: Claims there is no cross contamination with any food allergies.

Parking: After 7pm there is more free street parking.“

“It was a wonderful experience , considering it is my first time. We had to wait a few minutes to get our table for 4 but that’s okay! The employees were super nice and went out of their way to pull and extra table for us. I loved the authentic atmosphere. The lighting, decor, and the overall feeling of the restaurant was great! And amazing food. My family loved what we ordered and the matcha cheesecake for dessert was so good! Compliments to the chef! “My daughter love their classic ramen’s broth and I had their tsukemen and love the texture of their dipping noodle with just the right “bounce” and perfectly a dente. Yummy and unique dessert to finish off our very satisfying meal. Everything just hit the spot just right.“

“A charming spot that I was led into by smell alone- and to be allured by aroma on Ditmars is a complement of itself. The service was sweet and helpful. We started with the popcorn chicken and Takoyaki. The 🐙 was truly unique and cooked great. The popcorn chicken was lacking in flavor but the citrus combination created a nice taste. Now onto the main event!! The Hinomaru ramen just called to me. I was delighted by the sweet mixing of poached egg and bone broth- super unique and delicious!! Pork cooked to perfection. Spice level was perfect. Left nothing but clean bowls and full stomachs. Wish there was a coat rack so I didn’t have to put mine on the floor. Great overall. Looking forward to the next time!

“Been going to the New World Foodcourt for a while but first time trying Ramen.. Had the Tonkutso Ramen and fried dumpling, hubby got Spicy Beef Ramen.. We both enjoyed it especially in a very cold night ❤️ will definitely go back and try other dishes!

“My plus one and I really enjoyed our time here. We had just gotten home from vacation and were in a mood for Ramen and this place did not disappoint.
Let me just say that this place has such a traditional Japanese vibe to it…the staff is warm and welcoming and the food was spectacular.
We had the ramen, both original and spicy and it was very delicious. We also had two Asahi beers and called it a day.
Overall, I will come back to this place more often.“

“Let’s start with the good: Portions were great, especially for the price point. You have the option to get a whopping SIX slices in your bowl. I’ve paid the same in other ramen places and gotten a measly single piece. If you’re not feeling that hungry, you can pay less for two pieces - which is still generous. Along with that, the pan-fried dumplings were a nice snack on the side providing a blend of chewy and crispy bites to enjoy. Unfortunately, the service was a bit disappointing - they would come over quickly to see if we were ready to order, and then hurry off and disappear for a while. It didn’t feel like there were very many opportunities to ask questions. On top of that, they neglected to come around afterwards to check on us or refill our waters. “A good ramen spot with hearty broth, omurice, and bun selection. We liked everything we got except for the spicy tonkatsu ramen that tasted like mala vs the usual spicy tonkatsu. Service was friendly and quick where we were in and out in less than an hour. With every bowl of ramen, you can also win free food item on next visit. Downside is the coupon is only good for about 2 weeks, which is way too soon and not convenient unless you live in the area. Near subway and lots of bubble tea and Japanese market nearby.“

“My friends and I swung by Zurutto after a long day out for a cold one and some good noodles.

The restaurant is combined with another Asian business next door so you are free to order from both businesses. Since we came in for ramen, we stuck with our hearty bowls of noods.

I ordered their Vegetarian Miso Ramen with no egg and added tofu since there was no protein already included. The ramen included bamboo shoots, kimchi, and green onions. I really enjoyed my piping bowl of ramen with its thick noodles, tasty broth, and all the toppings working well together.

“I love Rai Rai Ken - it is conveniently located in my neighborhood and is always consistent in quality and taste. My favorite things to order are the Fried Chicken Onigiri and the soup broths. Delicious on a cold day. Delivery is always quick and the food is always piping hot!“

“Went at about 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon. Server was really friendly. We got salmon roll, shrimp tempura roll, dancing dragon roll, another roll (had spicy yellowtail and tuna and kani), and a side of rock shrimp.

Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. Prices are unbeatable. Overall, pleasant experience. I’ve been here about 4 times and everytime has been good.“

“Solid local ramen shop. Chicken Kara-age was on point with a delicious dipping sauce. Ramen came out while I was still eating the kara-age which was annoying. Tonkotsu broth was light in body and flavor - which is ok if that is the style that you prefer. Prices are reasonable.“

I must say that I really liked the broth, so flavorful and tasty ramen. My waitresses were absolutely courteous and professional.
