“We ordered the boneless wings, sliders and chicken wraps. All were very tasty. The drinks came out fast and cold. The hostess tried to sit us at a dirty table, bench seat had oil and crumbs and table had crumbs and sauce all over. Made her change tables, she did not seem happy. Our waitress was awesome she made up for lazy hostess. Overall we will be back.“

“Overall experience was fair, service was not that attentive. I felt rushed like I had to eat as fast as I could and leave, the syrup for the French toast was cold, and I order scrambled eggs with cheese with my dish but the egss didn't come out until I was almost done with my French Toast. The coffee is really good, overall I been to Lilly's several times and I will continue to go back, as this one error doesn't take over the overall experiences I've had at the restaurant. The 1 thing I would suggest is put the hostess at the entrance of the tent not the back door of the restaurant, this would eleviate new arriving guest of walking back and forht through other patrons who sitting down and eating, and allow the hostess to thank the guest for coming when they are leaving. Just a suggestion from someone with 30 years experience in the restaurant sector. JC“

“From the moment I walked in, I thought the place was beautiful and spacious. The lighting was dim—just the way I like it—and the music was perfect. Emely, my server, was very attentive and helped me choose some beers; this restaurant boasts an impressive selection of craft beers from all over the world. Emely helped me make my selection based on my preferences—I happen to love German beers. The food was a 10/10, and the dessert was absolutely to die for. I give it a 10/10 recommendation.“

“We came for a saturday brunch and it was nothing short of excellent. The manager greeted us and we had some drinks at the bar. The bartender gave us some great recommendations for the menu and the owner even came over to us and introduced himself which was very nice. We got the meatballs, rockshrimp and calamari, lobster guacamole, and burrata which were all incredible and great shareables for us. 5/5 and will definitely be back.“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“Where we were seated was a little loud at first but it got quieter over the length of the dinner. Everything tasted great. The staff were great and very attentive. It was my wife's birthday. They surprised her with a dessert with a candle and everyone made a point to wish her a happy birthday as we exited the restaurant which was a nice touch. The shakes are decent but $11 .
No frills decent bar but gluten free buns are little too thick that takes away from the burger..“

“Decided to go to modern on the rails for date night as was recommended by a friend of mine. The place was amazing. Nothing but amazing and excellent things to say. Not good or great but EXCELLENT and AMAZING. from the moment we were greated by the hostess to the moment we left. We orderd the classic calamari which was fantastic it wasn't rubbery like you get at most places and the mussels marina was excellent. For our entrees we had the brazino fish which my wife loved it was cooked to perfection abscess wasn't heavy at all. The grill veggies that came with it had the perfect char on them. I had the pork ossso bunch over risotto which I was reluctant to try but I'm glad I did. The pork shanks was a generous portion as well as delicious and presented in an elegant way over the wild mushroom risotto. When I go out in westchester again this is going to be one of the places I would go back to over and over again.

From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. “Pleasantly surprised by how amazing this restaurant. I have passed it a millions times and never thought much about it. A coworker mentioned they had a good happy hour so I checked out their menu and decided we would try for dinner instead. From the minute you open the door you know it’s going to be good. Beautifully decorated, dimly lit, romantic & clean. We opted for the surf and turf and the swordfish - never imagined how generous the portions would be. The dishes were simple yet perfectly flavored. Our waiter Drini was kind and informative.

If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“
