“No, but seriously, the food is delicious! Breakfast is prepared in a matter of minutes, and there is a wide range of options available, including drinks, bagel flavors, and even syrups for food items. Second visit, with many more. Thank you, guys.“
“Called the restaurant at about 8pm for an 8:15pm dinner reservation. The awesome manager told me he was going to make it happen.. Got in with my family of seven and was quickly greated by a wonderful host who I later found out wasn't the host but the fiancee to the manager. She was so sweet and made us feel welcomed even before we got a table. Once we sat down, the service was fast and topnotch, food was good and drinks was hitting...Definitely going back again and again..Kid-friendliness: My kids had a good tim, they had fries and chicken tenders that was well made“
“We stumbled upon Freddy's and were blown away by the unforgettable dining experience it offered! From start to finish, every moment was filled with culinary delights, and our server Cody made the experience even more memorable.First up, the Chopped Italian Combo Salad stole the show with its fresh ingredients and tantalizing flavors. Then, we savored the Grilled Octopus, served with citrus German potato salad, gremolata, and chili oil, followed by the delectable Arancini Balls with cacio e pepe bechamel. For our main course, the French Onion Short Rib was a flavor-packed sensation, accompanied by gruyere potato gratin and crispy onion rings. And let's not forget about dessert! The Funfetti Bread Pudding and Apple Cobbler were the perfect sweet endings!Every dish showcased the perfect balance of flavors and expertly crafted gastology. Plus, the cocktails were a hit, and the espresso was top-notch!We can't wait to return to Freddy's with our friends and family to share this incredible dining experience. If you're in Pleasantville, don't miss out on this culinary gem – Freddy's is an absolute must-visit!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options and vegetarian options!“
“I realize this is arguably damming with faint praise, but clearly the best restaurant in Yonkers/Western Westchester county below the Cuomo bridge. High quality ingredients, well-prepared. Excellent service plus a nice view of the water -- at least before dark. Compares favorably to some of the better Manhattan restaurants. To be sure, is it as good as say, Le Bernardin or Jean Georges? Of course not. But you'll get a first-class dining experience for probably half the price, without the hassle of traffic and parking.“
“We tried the Zinger & Hella Juicy burgers, Fries with Garlic sauce and Spicy Fries. We were amazed with the quantity and quality of food.Topped it up with Fried Orio ice cream, again absolutely on spot.It is a small takeout place with a 10 seating spots. After tasting the food I wasn’t surprised to find that the owner is a five star banquet chef with very high aspirations.“
“This is the second time we have been there. Both experiences were very good. the wait staff was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was fairly quiet but we were there for an early dinner. This time we ordered the mixed grill for two. Included were American rib lamb chops, shrimp, sausage, and meatballs. It was delicious and there was plenty of it. The soup of the day was a carrot soup, very tasty. we finished with tea and coffee as there was no room for dessert. We'll definitely go back.“
“Small place with an old time travel feel. Two separate sitting areas with a nice size bar. Good Tap beer selection. Had the Italian pork sandwich with sweet vinegar peppers, spinach & provolone cheese, it was really good. Staff were great.“
“Restaurant X has always been consistently EXCELLENT for decades!! Peter Kelly is the quintessential super chef that ticks every box. He never disappoints so any choice you make will be a successful one! The staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Cozy environment overall but I especially enjoy the fireplace in the bar area. There's a reason Peter bested Bobby Flay!!“
“Had lunch here on a Wednesday with my aunts. Seafood dishes were delicious. The hot chocolate was ok, a little too sweet for us, but not as rich as we expected. The staff was nice and attentive without being over-bearing. Fine atmosphere for conversation. Would highly recommend for well-prepared foods, excellent service, and relaxing atmosphere.“
“First off, what can I say about the wonderful wait staff. The hostess, Ronnie, was top notch sweet! Then my waitress, Eddy, kept offering us water to keep our thirst quenched. I was utterly happy. Then, we ordered their homemade miso soup! What a treat! My favorite part of the meal was their duck ramen. Such a tender feeling of gratitude. A must visit for a wonderful price!“
“My husband and I love this place! Great atmosphere, decor, staff, drinks and food! A modern Irish pub! If we lived closer, we'd be here weekly! Tommy and Caroline are fantastic bartenders! We truly feel at home when dining at Reilly's! Highly recommend! There's a huge public parking lot down the road if you can't find parking in front.“
“The atmosphere and service was fantastic, as usual. I must say, the food was not as tasty as previous visits to Underhill. Both the pork chop and roasted chicken (usually my favorite) entrees were dry and skimpy and the salad as a starter was tiny. We definitely got hit with a dose of "shrinkflation".“
“Amazing service by the staff at Sweet Grass Grill. I was able to visit for lunch and pictured the blood orange margarita, mushroom cheesesteak and chicken sandwich with the kale Caesar. Their beet ketchup was truly amazing. Everything was delicious. The service was super attentive even with a busy lunch rush during the week. Reservations are recommended. Stop by at Sweet Grass for a quick meal and leave feeling satisfied. Looking forward to stopping by again“
“Ill Fresco has it all going for it. Great ambience, great service and really good food. My shrimp parm was as good as I can remember ever having it. My wife's homemade pasta with chicken was delicious. This will earn a coveted spot on our dining rotation.“
“The place is nice, we went to eat but they closed the kitchen at 10 and we arrived at 10:15 but we stayed to drink in the bar area and it gets cool. The drinks are more than 20 and for me it's not worth it. alcohol but it's nice to turn around“
“Great place for hanging out with friend's or with family for a weekend lunch after endless hours of shopping ( #girl daddy ) burgers, steak, beers, ipa , wine and refreshments never disappoint. and all the live sport action and scoring. You cant find a better place for a weekend out the house on cold or rainy afternoon.“
“Great little pub with an old school local vibe. Burgers and wings are very good. The wings are on the larger side so if you're more into the smaller wings with less meat on the bone you may not love them.My kids love the pizza. I'm a little more neutral on it due to the crust leaning a little towards a "store bought" type. But the sauce and toppings are spot on.The employees are great across the board. They all seem to enjoy working there vs just "having a job". Good place to hang with some friends or eat with the family.Parking: Depending on the time of day can be a little challenging.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly in the dining room for sure. The bar area has high tops but I wouldn't say that space is kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Not the easiest to access for people with disabilities.“
“First off I have to start this review by saying that their food is great. Been here more than enough times to know that their food and drink is consistent and never fails. My go-to is the classic burger and my wife loves the grilled chicken dish. Fries are top notch. Service is always great. My only issue is the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Theres no sugar coating that. This is actually one of the main reasons I never became a regular. I hope they can go away from the classic pub bar bathroom vibe and tidy things up in there.“
“We had an amazing dinning experience at Otto’s. Not only was the food scrumptious, but the service team was also impeccable. They really went above and beyond to make our whole experience unforgettable. Our server William and his helper were attentive, accommodating and made our night of celebrations a special one. We will definitely be back!“
“Great food and a serious historical location. Chateaubriand was top notch. Dessert torte was likewise excellent. Staff was friendly. My only complaint was the live music was too loud. I'm a musician and would never have my levels that high. Was difficult to have a conversation.“
“Still one of my favorite restaurants, I hope it stays that way. Was there the other day, and my porcini rubbed steak was not quite as good as I remember. Cocktails are now basically $20 (same size though!). And I had to put down a credit card deposit for $25 per person to dine in a nearly empty restaurant, with a THREE DAY ADVANCE notice period, within which you're told you'll be charged regardless of reason for cancellation, which is extreme. Rigatoni Bolognese was great and service remains excellent. Portions all a good size. Will be back, but maybe on a weekday when we don't have to worry about the cancellation policy.“
“I can’t say enough good things about Modern on the Rails for my daughter’s bridal shower brunch. I had great feedback on the venue and the delicious food. The staff was attentive and so helpful, my guest’s drinks as well as the buffet selections were constantly filled. The atmosphere is unique and so pretty with exposed brick and beautiful chandeliers. I. borrowed their cart to do a bouquet bar that turned out to be a hit with everyone. The shower was everything the bride to be had hoped for. Thank you to Lori, John, Julianna and Kevin for making this an stress-free, perfect day for us.“
“Food was great! Service was greatI had the lobster roll with Broccoli as a side, it came with coleslaw as well (I don't even really eat slaw but this was pretty good).Lobster roll was loaded and flavorful. Broccoli was good as well, a tad bit salty.I also ordered a dessert to go because I was so full. I got the creme brulee which was great as well.He also gave me a little Berries and cream dessert since it was my birthday❤️Restaurant was a tad bit cold“
“We have been here 4 times and have never experienced anything but great food, great service. It's small but but has its advantages such as attentive service, cozy atmosphere. Joe and Amid are incredible as they totally understand service is the game and they are superstars at it. It's a must try.“
“Fantastic space with a lively, upscale, upbeat atmosphere. Welcoming, energetic vibe on a Saturday night. We've been there twice with a party of 6, and the food has been excellent both times. The veal chop... to die for! Wonderful service the 1st time. Everything was perfect. It was just ok last week, at best. But they were super busy and perhaps short-handed. In any event, there was an automatic 20% tip applied to the bill, so perhaps the server didn't care to give it her personal best. Still, we'll definitely return and recommend Roost.“
“Local spot in the village that i live in...and its just...awesome...whether you come for a quick drink, to a small bite or dinner for 6, you can not go wrong at the Boathouse...owner Lisa always tending bar to make sure that her customers feel at home and have a drink in hand...waiter/waitress Ryan, Philip and Michelle are great and their attention to detail stands out...from apps to entrees, you can not go wrong here...from Spiedini( ask for buffalo and garlic ), to their Wings, Arancini and Spicy Crab Fries are excellent...entrees such as the Rib Eye Steak, Very Angry Val, Lobster Roll, Short Rib Sheperds Pie, Lobster Mac & Cheese, etc are great...come summer time, you wont find a better place around...there is the " boat bar " right next to the water, and you will find live music on the weekends. Reasonably price, and you will be coming back there for sureParking: Onsite Free Parking( right next to the Hudson River )...what a VIEW“
“I've only started to come here but for a bunch of different things. All great. I love karaoke, the live music was a lot of fun. I've eaten there twice. The chicken pot pie was great. And all the food at the private party I went was excellent too.“
“First time coming in and we will definitely be returning. Delicious gluten free options and nice variety of other quality items on menu. Francisco was super friendly and attentive and everything was timed perfectly for our early Sunday dinner. Great for both food sensitive eater and adventurous eater.Dietary restrictions: They accommodate gluten free and vegan eaters“
“I ordered on Ubereats and wanted to say thank you for wrapping the sandwiches in foil to keep them warm!!! Everything was hot and fresh which has never happened for me :) they have great vegan options and the staff acknowledges what is vegan and what isn’t. One time I ordered onion rings and said I was vegan and they wrote a kind note letting me know they weren’t vegan but still sent the food which I appreciated. Atmosphere at the location is super cozy as well !!“
“Came here for Valentines Day and had a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic (we had a prefix menu) and the espresso martinis were so so good (which is a must when I go out). Would definitely recommend it to a friend and will be back!“
“best Fresh Italian food you can't get at a restaurant! my favors: meatballs, chicken marsalla, sauce and peppers, soups to die for so good like home made! the pasta are so fresh that it takes 3-4 minutes to cook. thankvyou Mercurio for my amazing lunch and dinner! there were nothing left on the plate for pictures, next time!“
“Plates Catering recently catered my wedding reception on 6/17/23 in the White Plains area, and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience.Matt and his team at Plates Catering are consummate professionals and genuinely great people. They were extremely helpful and responsive when it came to figuring out how best to execute our desired menu according to our scale and budget, as well as guiding us through all necessary steps and considerations for our event's set up--at moments even putting in a little extra time beyond what we had originally contracted them for. The attention to detail put into the food and its presentation was evident long before it was even ready to serve, which really played a huge part in bringing this very special day together for myself, my spouse, and my beloved guests. At every step of the process, Plates was fully committed to making our event one that our guests would not forget. Most importantly, the food was absolutely spectacular: our guests repeatedly sang its praises, long after serving time had wrapped up.I would without a doubt turn to Plates again for any future events, and they would be the first choice I would recommend to anyone looking for an excellent caterer in the area (and honestly as far as they would be willing to work within the Tri-State area). Give them a call, you won't regret it!“
“Always get take out, but ate in with a few friends on a busy Saturday. The staff was friendly and gave great suggestions to my friends, and our food was delicious. I love the chips, but sometimes they can be a little too crispy/burnt…otherwise solid, good, not dietetic food!“
“Santiago was a great server, he knew the menu very well, he recommended almost everything on the menu to the point we let him chose our meals and it was all wonderful. Everything was great, the service, the food came out in a timely matter, there was water ready at the table to quench our thirst. For 4 people spent $200, that's with an appetizer 2 entrees. We had a kid who had fries and someone who had a soup special and buffalo wings (they ate before getting there). No cocktails, 4 sodas; that's gratuity included. Overall, the ambiance is great, right by the train, across from the waters, plenty of parking.“
“we loved Vela Kitchen ! The crispy calamari was excellent! We all agreed best fried calamari around. my husband and i had the pan seared branzino with cauliflower rice was cooked to perfection. A friend had the lobster paella with saffron risotto she said was delicious. Definitely now one of our favorite restaurants. So good we didn't have leftovers to bring home we ate everything“
“We went for brunch on a Sunday in February, so we were the only ones there for a period of time; regardless, our service was fantastic, but the food was even better. We ordered the Belgium waffles & avocado toast; both were delicious with generous portions. We would return again.“
“My in-laws invited us out for dinner and chose Lillys. They have good reviews and the in-laws guaranteed we would like it. There are two entrances. Both have parking, all are metered. There is inside and outside dining. We ate outside on the patio under the tent. Very good service. Really nice decor and good vibes. The food is very very good. Lots of choices, definitely a different type of menu. I enjoyed the ricotta croquettes. They put a little bit of honey at the bottom. I also had the Margherita Pizza and the Carne Asada. Carne Asada is not the typical pizza topping. It was a little spicy because of the jalapeño, but very good. I would definitely come back to Lillys when in White Plains.“
“The resturant were very accomdating toUs as a last minute dinner before closing everyone very friendly and extremely nice . Brandon our server gave top notch service !!! My drinks were delicious and strong ! Whenever I’m ever back in town I’d stop by. Thank “
“Another solid lunch here. I surprisingly ordered the chicken burger and my friend ordered a Reuben. I normally get beef, but I was in the mood for something different. I actually had hesitation after I ordered it thinking it might come out very dry. Well was I wrong! This chicken burger was so delicious, flavored with vegetables, and severely juicy. I loved it! The avocado on top was a delicious touch. The Ruben sandwich was equally perfect on toasty buttered bread dripping with cheese and ample corned beef. The french fries that accompanied both sandwiches were so crisp and perfectly prepared. The wait staff was awesome, and very accommodating to all of our needs. It was a really wonderful experience.“
“Black Cat Cafe was awesome! Came in just as they were opening on a Sunday morning with my 2 year old. Service was great, and the person working was very accommodating of the young kid. Highly recommend getting breakfast here and then checking out the framers market just up the hill. Parent pro-tip, the Ivington location for the farmers market is right next to a playground.Kid-friendliness: I'm definitely calling this one kid friendly. They even had some toys on hand. Also, other patrons were not put off by the presence of a young kid.“
