“This was one of the places my friend who moved to LA had to come back to during her visit.

They have the best rice cake and sausage (소떡소떡) I’ve had from a chicken shop. The rice cake is the perfect level of crispiness. The sausage is a normal Frankfurt sausage instead of the Korean ones but it’s still okay because their sauce is perfect. Even before eating the chicken, I can tell this is going to be amazing. They have great combo deals which are great for groups and they also give free Cajun fries (which are also good and fresh) a review! Definitely worth trying.“

“SEOUL TOFU is a solid option if you’re craving some good old-fashioned Korean food. This replaced Witch Topokki but they didn’t change much other than their food menu. You can still see traces of the old restaurant on the table and on their silverware.

Seafood Pancake 10/10 - So crispy! I like pancakes that are crispy all around the edges and contain a lot of seafood.
Grilled Yellow Croaker 8/10 - Good value but a tad too salty.

“Ordered takeout from Don Chicken on Northern Blvd and went for the Spicy Soy Garlic Chicken and it did not disappoint. The pieces were pretty big, juicy inside, and had that trademark Korean fried chicken crunch: thin, shatter-crispy, never greasy. The soy garlic glaze was spot on savory, garlicky, with just enough kick to keep me reaching for another bite.

I also tried the Sweet & Spicy flavor not bad at all, just leaned sweeter than what I usually like.

What I really appreciate is how Korean fried chicken is different from the fried chicken most of us grew up with. Instead of a thick, heavy batter, it’s double-fried a method that actually came about in Korea in the 1960s and 70s when fried chicken started getting popular alongside beer (“chimaek,” short for chicken + maekju/beer, is now a whole culture). That double fry gives you the crunch without the grease, and the sauces like this soy garlic add layered flavor instead of just salt and breading.

For takeout, it traveled well too the chicken stayed crisp even by the time I got home, which tells you they’re doing it right. Generous portions, bold flavor, and that authentic K-fried crispness make the spicy soy garlic the clear winner for me.“

“Friend just brought me here for breakfast, street parking can be a bit challenging otherwise the place was great. Seating was plentiful.

My friend and I ate a bacon egg and cheese on toast. The entire sandwich is a beautiful presentation. The toast was golden brown, warm and sliced as to envelope the ingredients. The cheese a warm gooey skin around the walls of the toast. The bacon, added wonderful flavor to the fluffiest eggs I have seen in quite a while. I highly recommend stopping in and trying it for yourself. Your taste buds will thank you!“

Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. All the takeout food is house-made, with a great variety of banchan (side dishes) and authentic snacks. I tried a unique banchan with jellyfish, papaya, turnip, and carrots—it was refreshing and perfectly crunchy. I also had pancakes, pork dumplings, and chicken over rice, all of which were delicious. The chicken rice bowl was served warm, which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely be back to try more items.“

Im crazy of sashimi.
It is very impossible to find raw live fish in other states.
But, Only N.Y and L.A. does have this because they have so enough sashimi restaurants with high demand that they could import raw fishes with acceptable Transportation costs from korea by airplanes.
This is economies of scale.
Anyway,
Sashimi was excellent for me.
Service and Atmosphere doesn't matter to me.
I was so happy to enjoy live fish.
I recommend you to visit if you like to live seafood.“

“Been coming here since I was a kid. Authentic korean restaurant with all the dishes you can think of and bbq if you like. The only thing that was a letdown was their rule when ordering bbq. Minimum is two orders of meat. I never knew about this rule because we usually go with larger groups and order a lot. It was only me and my girl this time and we both wanted our own main dish with a little bbq meat but unfortunately had to go without the bbq this time.

No fuss. We ordered a seafood pancake for appetizer and seafood soon dooboo and dolsot bibimbap for our main dishes. Came out to about $60 before tip so very affordable as always.

Place used to be 24 hours but I see they've cut their hours to midnight. Anyways. Always a good place to go for a guaranteed good time. Come early or book a reservation otherwise there will be a wait. During peak times on the weekends, you might be waiting awhile.

They coned off two metered spots for customers so it was nice to pull up and park right in front.“

The Burger Steaks were a bit sweet which was unexpected, but yummy. The cold pasta salad was very refreshing, slightly sweet and had a good balance of all the flavors and veggies. I'm not a fan of cold macaroni salad, but this one was so tasty. The fish cake had a nice soy sauce brine. I have never had a fish cake with that depth of flavor in it. The kimchi had a good crunch. “A little hole-in-the wall Korean joint near the 7 train/LIRR stop in Woodside Queens. I stop there a couple of times a week after work to pickup dinner. There aren’t any sit-down tables, but the food more than makes up for it. The classic Korean dishes are delicious and satisfying. I love how generous they are with the veggies. Everything is fresh and homemade. The people here are always so kind and welcoming too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, no-frills, tasty Korean food!“

“KAL Korean Food in Astoria is a great spot if you’re looking for solid Korean food at a really good value. They have a lunch special before 4 p.m. that’s only $15, which is honestly hard to beat for the amount of food you get. The portion sizes are very large, so you definitely won’t leave hungry.

“Meats are great but they have hands down the best Nengmyun. I crave this every summer and literally come eat this every chance I get because they dont deliver. Its that serious. They cook on cystal pan which is quite different than other places and the atmosphere is mediocre but if you know what youre going there for in regards to food then 10/10.“
