The brisket and gravy, the kasha varnishkas, the egg barley with mushrooms, the stuffed derma and dipping sauce, and those INCREDIBLE pastrami dumplings and onions were unbelievably yummy. Mustn't forget the potato salad and cole slaw! And the pickles!! And rye bread soft as a feather pillow. The food here is out of this world. Cleanliness: Firstly, the hygiene. The restaurant is so clean. You can tell all the meats and the veggies, everything is so fresh.

Accuracy: All the sandwiches are always done right. It’s perfect because we often don’t even get to open our bag until we get to the house. They honestly don’t get anything wrong.

“I don’t usually leave reviews but I just had to in this case. Pantano’s of Plainview catered my baby shower this past weekend. The food was amazing!! Three days later and I'm still getting texts complimenting the food. Gian Luca and his staff made everything so so easy, from the amount of food I would need to what to actually order to the sides and extra sauces; everything was perfect. With such a busy day, that was one thing I didn't have to worry and stress about. I highly recommend!“

After trying Pat and Gino’s in Philadelphia, and then others, I was convinced that I did not like cheese wiz on my Philly. I was wrong, hands down this is the best. Cost unfortunately remains the only barrier; over $70 to feed a family of four for lunch is a bit much. $50-60 is my top price point for a fun meal from out.“

“Place was really nice. Staff were friendly and very kind. The food was excellent and the seating/eating area was clean (staff also came by and made sure things were in order/clean). There are so many options for food, lots of drinks in fridges throughout the deli. There is an ATM inside, and just a heads up you get a slight discount for paying in cash. But you can pay with card as well.

“I've been coming to the Roast Sandwich House about six times over the last 3 months, there's a young man here named Gio he is very courteous and if efficient and processing our orders and recommending the specials each week when we come here. What makes them different is that they steam their meats in a steamer machine, and it makes for such a good flavor profile. I'm happy to report that what I tasted at this location matches the quality of the original shops down in Florida. I really wish the shop were a standalone and not stuck inside a Bolla Market. The man who greeted me was extremely warm, kind and knowledgeable and asked me if I needed help with the menu. He cleaned the surfaces, changed his gloves and used new utensils. He was multitasking taking care of customers when the customer ordering saw a fly on his sandwich and Matthew handled it gracefully with an upbeat attitude and disposed of the sandwich in front of a line of customers including myself.
