I love their creative breakfast sandwich options, and the vibe was pure NYC energy. I got the pastrami, egg, and cheese on a challah bun, and it was exceptional. Perfectly balanced, rich, and just messy enough in the best way. 10 out of 10. I’ll definitely be back.“

“A little gem. This small spot with a beautiful back patio squeezed in a group of 10 or so. The mushroom pizza was all we had but was 5/5 and worth a trip. Their dough is so light and pillowy but with crisp edges and a fantastic bite. The toppings on the mushroom pizza were perfectly seasoned and a very nice ratio (not overpowering the cheese or dough). Honestly though, the dough was special and is worth the trip to explore their other pizzas. Next time we come we will absolutely get a few pies and take home whatever is left. But if everything is as good as that mushroom pizza, there's small chance of leftovers.“

“Classic Brooklyn joint serving one of the best roast beef sandwiches in town! But I would have to say the western burger also packs a solid punch. You can’t go wrong with any of the items here honestly. But our go to’s are always the roast beef sandwich, western beef burger, crown fritters, chicken wings, and orangeade drink! You also have the option to put cheese on anything! If you have a young one, ask one of the cashiers for a free ballon. If happens to be your birthday, you get to spin the giant wheel for a chance to win $5-$20 prize for next time use. Also, if you spend more than $45 per order, you can get a free pizza. The inside dining area seems like it’s still stuck in the 1990s, but I’m fine with that!“

We had the pulled pork and Mexican cheese sandwiches drenched in sauce. Absolutely delicious!

The bread is apparently custom made just for Macario and the fillings are very flavorful. The chicharrones with guacamole were also fluffy and crispy. The staff are lovely and are happy to make suggestions.

“Steep prices but the sandwiches are extraordinary and the owner is a kind soul. The turkey is roasted in house and the softest juiciest I've ever had in a sandwich. By far the best gluten free roll I've had a sandwich on and no reaction to any cross contamination. We came here from across the country on our honeymoon and have found a place we'll be sure to come back to.“

“It's a very old fashioned place. I was the only black person in there when I walked in, but was treated just as wonderful as anyone else. Cash only, the register is extremely old. (I remember seeing a similar one at a diner in Long Island, but they renovated and stored the old one in the basement.)The parking lot holds about 8 to 10 cars. It's not plenty of parking, but at least you can park without worrying about the meter. The servers are awesome. They really seem to know their job. As soon as someone gets up they wipe the table and then seat whoever is next at a table. I got the roast beef sandwich with cheese and onions double dipped and cheese fries. I asked the server which should I order between the onions rings and cheese fries and he picked the cheese fries. The food was fantastic and much cheaper than all the other restaurants that sell french dip. French dip is simply a roast beef sandwich that you can dip in a sauce that has beef stock with some seasoning. The drinks come in a paper cup, unless it's beer (which is served in a mug). I suppose it's less dishes, but it just looks odd compared to how the rest of the meal is served on small plates. The price for the sandwich and the cheese fries with tax came up to less than $20. I'm not complaining, give them a try.“

The food, for as incredible as it is, is so approachable. It was the type of meal I was inspired to wanna cook for myself. This is a must stop place if you’re around.

“My daughter and I are from the UK and holiday in New York every year.

We found this hidden gem on our last visit and are so glad we did, I can't rate this place highly enough; from the food to the staff, everything is exceptional.

Let's start with the staff: welcoming, friendly, and funny, we spent longer talking to the staff than ordering, I would say we left New York having made new friends.

My daughter and I are going back next year, so we will be dropping in to catch up, I hope that the staff we met earlier this year will still be there.

On the off chance that one of them reads this, my daughter met George Clooney, and I told the story to one of the staff.

“My BF and I came in around 4:30 on Tuesday afternoon. We were greeted so nicely by Dashawn, he made us feel very welcome. I got a CBR add jalapeños and a roast beef sammy. BOTH were SO GOOD! Dashawn then checked on us and asked how everything was. He proceeded to greet every single person that walked through the door like this. Probably the best service I have ever received at a fast casual restaurant, this is my New Jersey Mikes. Keep it up, Dashawn and someone give this man a highly deserved raise.“

“I've been wanting to try this place for awhile since seeing IG posts showing the yummy food. I was in the area and stopped by around noon, after it just opened, so the line was short. I wanted to order everything, but was by myself, so i only got the chicken katsu sando and it was so good! The fried chicken was crispy and the milk bread was so soft and fresh. It was a very large portion, for me anyways, and I was full after just eating half. I also wanted to try the tamago egg salad sandwich too, but will save that for next time when my gf is here. They have a nice outdoor patio to sit and eat, but i took it to go.“

“I have seen this restaurant on IG and put it on my list and today was the day. This atmosphere is pretty cool, it’s decked out with a a lot of Chicago memorabilia. They love home and I dig it. I’ve never had a Chicago style dog before and I gotta say it wasn’t good, it was great! The natural flavors of the dogs they use with the relish, peppers, pickle spears, tomato, onions with the mustard drizzle and that soft, warm poppi seed bun make it’s a whole experience. Textures and flavors really worked well together with a lil zip from the peppers kept me thinking about it. I went in there for the Chicago dog, loved it and had to try the chili cheese dog. The chili cheese dog was dope! It was flavorful and filling. The raw onions on top were a nice add. If you dine in they’ll throw you some tater tots which was pretty cool. That staff is very friendly and I appreciate that. While I was there I was able to get a taste of their Italian beef. I don’t think I have the culinary background to describe the flavor without messing it up. I will say it was delicious! the way the jus got soaked into the bread, the flavor of the tender Italian beef had me licking the cup it was in -_- I wanted more and I will be back for it! In my honest opinion this place is worth a drive for. I wasn’t disappointed. They have weiner Wednesday where you can get $2 off their dogs which is cool. I can’t like $9 for a dog is just a sign of the times, but at least they try to help their consumers out. All in all I will be back! “Oh my Lordy it’s perfect! I got the Philly cheesesteak melt but on sourdough and it was soooooo fire.

Their house salad is dope, it has mandarins, red onion, carrot, and a light vinaigrette. Perfect.
