“Very nice inviting decor. Service was just ok. The server was basic, didn’t tell us it was happy hour? Nor did she mention and food selections. For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? Like I said we will go again !!! Great food.”

“I had a great experience with the chicken wings. Each wing was perfectly crisp and flavorful. I chose the level 2 spice sauce, which had just the right amount of heat without overpowering the taste.

By the time I finished the last wing, I was full and completely satisfied. The price was more than fair for the quality and portion size. The only minor downside was the Cajun fries. They were cooked well, but the seasoning lacked the punch and depth I was hoping for. A bit more boldness in flavor could have made them match the wings’ power.”

“Love this place. Stopped in for a quick lunch. The café is basically a food truck on the south Service Road. But they’ve built out a nice little area with benches, tables, and soda machines. We were greeted immediately, the people in the café were super nice, and our food was served very quickly. My grilled chicken sandwich came on a really nice hero and was excellent. We also had the ahi sandwich special, which was outstanding. Price was great. I’ll definitely be back.”

“❤ My husband and I love Curbside in South Hempstead. Their crunchwraps are big enough to share. Our favorite is the Cowboy Crunchwrap with extra sauteed onions. I could eat only this for the rest of my life, provided, of course, we have sour cream!”

As an anime fan, I enjoyed the atmosphere very much, ramen is a common reoccurring meal in the anime Naruto, which is prominently used for decoration

They also have the largest portion of pork chashu I have ever had and It was delicious and chared to perfection”

“I’ve only had breakfast here but everything I've had has been excellent. The French toast is delicious. The coffee is as good as I've ever had.

My server made me feel very comfortable.

I look forward to going back to try dinner.

“The review score is misleading as it takes into account low reviews from people who thought this was a cafe and not a wholesale/retail coffee roaster. I've been buying their coffee for years now. Fantastic coffee and the price can't be beat!!! You get a full pound, not 10 or 12oz and you can get any flavor imaginable. They have dozens of flavors of your into that. I've tried a bunch with only a rare few that I didn't care for. I now but 5 lb bags each time as I've been brewing lots more coffee!!! Terrific coffee. I've been using my farberware perc pot that makes a fantastic pot of coffee and makes it super hot!!!!”

Three days later and I'm still getting texts complimenting the food. Gian Luca and his staff made everything so so easy, from the amount of food I would need to what to actually order to the sides and extra sauces; everything was perfect. With such a busy day, that was one thing I didn't have to worry and stress about. I highly recommend!”

The staff is very friendly and accommodating allowing my daughter to customize her bento box. Tonight we took out & I left my phone on the bar. “I had dinner at Salute with my friends last night (Friday evening). The food was delicious from appetizers to dessert we enjoyed every bite. They serve large portions. We took half of it home. The drinks were amazing. The hardest part was deciding what to eat. There were so many choices on the menu. All mouth watering! The staff were so friendly and attentive they make you feel like family. The place was packed with people of all ages. The live music was so good, couple got up and started dancing others sang along. Salute at Plainview is a great place to meet friends, meet for a romantic date, or simple stop by my yourself when you rather be with a community of people who always make you feel welcome and very special.”

“I do love this place, but they got very expensive. I can’t believe the prices that I’m looking at right now and they only accept cash. The last time I was there, I placed an order for an omelette with mushrooms and cheese. The omelette came back burnt and they use canned mushrooms, not fresh mushrooms. I was really disappointed.”

“Would be a 5 but there are no public bathrooms which seems sketchy to me because I thought all dine in establishmentts (they had seating prior to COVID) had to provide bathrooms. Prices compared to portions is insane but that's just the times we live in.”

“Finding a Tim Hortons in our area felt like a little gift from the past. We used to live in Canada, and Tim Hortons was a regular part of life there — coffee runs, Timbits, and of course, the classic Boston Cream donut. So when this brand-new Shell station opened with a Tim Hortons inside, we had to stop in.

The nostalgia hit immediately. We ordered Timbits — those little bite-sized doughnut holes that are somehow impossible to stop eating — and they tasted just as we remembered. The Boston Cream donut was another must-have, with its soft dough, creamy filling, and smooth chocolate topping. One bite and we were right back in Canada.

The coffee was fresh and just the way Tim Hortons does it — smooth, warm, and perfect alongside the sweets. The location itself is spotless, thanks to being part of a brand-new Shell station, and the service was friendly and quick.

For us, this wasn’t just about grabbing coffee and donuts — it was about reliving a piece of our life abroad. If you’ve ever lived in Canada or just love Tim Hortons, this spot is worth the stop.”

Atmosphere at the restaurant has more of a carry out vibe than eat in vibe. That could be fixed with a new interior decorator and layout but for now I am happy doing carry out orders there.”

Service is quick, just be aware there can be a 20 minute line many mornings, so order ahead.”
