“Very nice inviting decor. Service was just ok. The server was basic, didn’t tell us it was happy hour? Nor did she mention and food selections. For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? Like I said we will go again !!! Great food.”

“It is really great and so convenient to have walk-in dermatology locally. The girl upfront Is very kind and efficient . She does a great job even when it is busy. That dermatologist I saw was great And took care of my skin issue . Increased weekend hours would be great.”

“I had a great experience with the chicken wings. Each wing was perfectly crisp and flavorful. I chose the level 2 spice sauce, which had just the right amount of heat without overpowering the taste.

By the time I finished the last wing, I was full and completely satisfied. The price was more than fair for the quality and portion size. The only minor downside was the Cajun fries. They were cooked well, but the seasoning lacked the punch and depth I was hoping for. A bit more boldness in flavor could have made them match the wings’ power.”

“❤ My husband and I love Curbside in South Hempstead. Their crunchwraps are big enough to share. Our favorite is the Cowboy Crunchwrap with extra sauteed onions. I could eat only this for the rest of my life, provided, of course, we have sour cream!”

“If you’re looking for a place with both incredible food and genuinely great people, Ralphie’s Crossroads is it. The staff are some of the nicest, most down-to-earth, salt-of-the-earth people you’ll meet. They make you feel welcome the second you walk in, like you've known them for 30 years.

And the food absolutely lives up to it. From the sausage and peppers hero to the desserts, everything I’ve tried has been outstanding. You can really tell there’s care put into every dish.

“I don’t usually leave reviews but I just had to in this case. Pantano’s of Plainview catered my baby shower this past weekend. The food was amazing!! Three days later and I'm still getting texts complimenting the food. Gian Luca and his staff made everything so so easy, from the amount of food I would need to what to actually order to the sides and extra sauces; everything was perfect. With such a busy day, that was one thing I didn't have to worry and stress about. I highly recommend!”

“The review score is misleading as it takes into account low reviews from people who thought this was a cafe and not a wholesale/retail coffee roaster. I've been buying their coffee for years now. Fantastic coffee and the price can't be beat!!! You get a full pound, not 10 or 12oz and you can get any flavor imaginable. They have dozens of flavors of your into that. I've tried a bunch with only a rare few that I didn't care for. I now but 5 lb bags each time as I've been brewing lots more coffee!!! Terrific coffee. I've been using my farberware perc pot that makes a fantastic pot of coffee and makes it super hot!!!!”

“I had dinner at Salute with my friends last night (Friday evening). The food was delicious from appetizers to dessert we enjoyed every bite. They serve large portions. We took half of it home. The drinks were amazing. The hardest part was deciding what to eat. There were so many choices on the menu. All mouth watering! The staff were so friendly and attentive they make you feel like family. The place was packed with people of all ages. The live music was so good, couple got up and started dancing others sang along. Salute at Plainview is a great place to meet friends, meet for a romantic date, or simple stop by my yourself when you rather be with a community of people who always make you feel welcome and very special.”

“We have only eaten here a handful of times but each time the food is fresh for both dine in & take our. I love the 20% off when you order on-line. The staff is very friendly and accommodating allowing my daughter to customize her bento box. Tonight we took out & I left my phone on the bar. The staff held it for me in the register until I returned to get it. They definitely won me as their customer!”

“This is one of the greatest Asian cuisine restaurants I have ever been to, I have been consistently purchasing the crab Rangoon for the last 2 years and I quite enjoy it every single time I come. The California rolls are also a second favorite of mine. There is always adequate seating with nice booths and even hand sanitizer at every table, I love the selection of beverages from Japanese sodas to the fountain drinks and everything also has the correct sauce (yum yum sauce, soy sauce is my usual selection). The service however is USUALLY excellent and fast, I always get what I ask for when I ask for it, HOWEVER there has been one individual working the counter who has been giving me issues for the last 5-6 months. There used to be an older Asian women at the counter who was excellent however this younger woman has been occupying the counter and she is insufferable sometimes. One time I went here and she ignored me multiple times trying to order, gave me the wrong receipt, has repeatedly to this day given me issues about certain items and constantly misses some, I always need to ask for my drink to be brought with the food, she gives me my crab Rangoon without sauce sometimes and she’ll even forgot the chopsticks for the sushi?! I miss the older Asian woman but am rejoiced whenever there is the male Asian working the counter, he is also great and is very efficient in what he does, I will continue coming here for as long as I do but I have to review this place now due to my discontent with the younger Asian worker.”

The last time I was there, I placed an order for an omelette with mushrooms and cheese. The omelette came back burnt and they use canned mushrooms, not fresh mushrooms. I was really disappointed.”

“Finding a Tim Hortons in our area felt like a little gift from the past. We used to live in Canada, and Tim Hortons was a regular part of life there — coffee runs, Timbits, and of course, the classic Boston Cream donut. So when this brand-new Shell station opened with a Tim Hortons inside, we had to stop in.

The nostalgia hit immediately. We ordered Timbits — those little bite-sized doughnut holes that are somehow impossible to stop eating — and they tasted just as we remembered. The Boston Cream donut was another must-have, with its soft dough, creamy filling, and smooth chocolate topping. One bite and we were right back in Canada.

The coffee was fresh and just the way Tim Hortons does it — smooth, warm, and perfect alongside the sweets. The location itself is spotless, thanks to being part of a brand-new Shell station, and the service was friendly and quick.

For us, this wasn’t just about grabbing coffee and donuts — it was about reliving a piece of our life abroad. If you’ve ever lived in Canada or just love Tim Hortons, this spot is worth the stop.”

If he’s not getting a haircut at the barber next door, he can’t pass up stopping for a lb of cole slaw on his way home after shopping at Country Pointe ShopRite. So glad this Deli remained open, it’s one of the very few that has lasted in Plainview!!”

“Very tasty Mediterranean food and fast service at Taim Mediterranean in Plainview NY. I love it for a quick takeout order when the wife and I do not feel like cooking. Atmosphere at the restaurant has more of a carry out vibe than eat in vibe. That could be fixed with a new interior decorator and layout but for now I am happy doing carry out orders there.”

“When I visit from out of town this is my go to place for Chinese Food that needs to be gluten free because I cannot afford to get sick being a celiac. I do not have to worry about cross contamination issues in their kitchen or getting sick. I am truly grateful for this place since it's one of the very few places I can eat at safely. Their Pork fried rice and Chicken and pea pods is so delicious. I can't wait to try their other dishes when I am back in town. I truly appreciate your efforts, Thank you!”
