“Salvo’s is a quaint, yet, handsome paninoteca that truly offers Italian panini. They’re not serving seven different meats on one sandwich, but instead you’ll get classics with house made aioli and pestos that you really wouldn’t get unless you’ve been over to the boot itself. The atmosphere is lively but just quiet enough to actually be able to chat with the person next to you. The staff are incredibly kind from front of house to back. We have a new institution that is here to stay for many years. This is what we call home. Forza Juve. Forza Salvo himself.“

“Authentic NYC pizza that is always fresh and delicious! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and the pizza has remained consistently delicious over the decades. The prices are great and what I appreciate above all else is that’s it’s really a staple of the community. A pizzeria like this with kind hearted owners provides a safe haven. Support local businesses ??
Vegetarian options: An assortment of vegetarian options.“
“Place been here forever. My kids really wanted ice cream while I was passing by I saw they had Gelato in the window so my kids wanted to try it. I wasn't expecting much but it was extremely good. My son said that was the best vanilla he ever had and so flavorful. Now he asks for it everyday. Also reasonably priced. I was very impressed. I got the hazelnut and biscotto it was sooooo good.“

“Friendly people and great slices. I love their broccoli and chicken slices and I find myself craving it often. They don’t skimp out. They give big pieces of broccoli and big pieces of chicken for the same price as other pizzerias. Shows they care. I would very much recommend. I’ve had a lot of their pizza and all of them have been good“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“San Sabino in New York gets a solid 4 out of 5 from me. The food was tasty and fresh and compared to their sister restaurant is definitely more fish forward. I made a point to try some of their most popular dishes. The lobster ravioli was flavorful and well executed. The cheese appetizer was balanced and nicely presented, though I would probably pass on it next time. The star of the night was the spicy tuna appetizer, which really stood out in both flavor and texture. The decor is beautiful and creates a great atmosphere, and the service was friendly throughout the meal. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.“

“Is very hard to find a good quality and real pasta in NYC. Pasta cacio Peppe and puttanesca were very good and soooo delicious. Everything was very fresh. I highly recommend their own basket of bread.First time in my life I was eating something delicious like this bread. Panna cotta and Tiramisu also was so delicious. I definitely back to this restaurant“

“Went for an early dinner like 4:30 pm for a pizza, we were the only ones in there.
As expected service was super attentive and very friendly and kind.
I ordered the honey pepperoni pizza. I ate the whole thing minus a few crusts. The sauce was delicious.
The place was very beautiful inside and they had a very clean bathroom.
I would definitely come back!“

“cameriera italiana con capelli corti. scortese e molto maleducata. non tornerò piu. non ha saputo ne servire il cliente oltre al fatto che dovrebbe farsi un corso di corretto italiano prima di parlare con un cliente in quel modo. pessima pubblicità al locale. peccato e mi dispiace ma non tornerò più.“

“The food here is amazing, and the staff are great. I can’t recommend it enough. Unfortunately, the Facebook rating system for restaurants is focused mostly on the wrong things, likely due to poor algorithm design. Curbside pickups? Daily specials? Takeaway menu? Grow up, Facebook.“

“I really came fully prepared to hate on this place, most of all because C picked it, but also because it is hyped to death. Further hatred materialized when I waited in line for our reservation and felt like a schmuck.
Then I realized the line wasn't for people with reservations, I went inside, we were seated immediately, our waiter was fabulous, the food was fabulous, and the wine was fabulous. Everything was phenomenal and extra, extra good.“

“This place really lived up to the hype - all the food was fantastic esp the ricotta crostina, meatballs, rigatoni, and the rice balls, but everything was above average. Additionally service was great, and very lively fun atmosphere, plus it was really warm given how cold its been recently. All and all i think its a great place to take a group of 8 or more for reasonably priced italian food that has above average taste. I will definitely be back.“

“Japanese Italian fusion? Something I obviously had to try!
I appreciate Kimika’s creative menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Our waitress Kara/Cara was so friendly and helpful. I started with a Spritz that I think could’ve used some more bubbles, but the flavors were on point. The food was good but I felt like there could’ve been a bit more flavor. We tried the Truffle Carbonara, Soy Butter Bigoli, and Eggplant Katsu - I think the Bigoli was my favorite (think elevated lo mien). For dessert, we tried the lava cake, matcha French toast (would get it with ice cream if I were to over come again) and the Nutella Bombolocini (very creative - think mochi stuffed with Nutella).
Overall, I loved the concept of Kimika and the service, but I think there could’ve been just a tad more flavor in some of our dishes. Definitely a place to try once!“

“Loved this small 100 year old Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village. The food was delish, but even better than the food was the atmosphere and the staff. Our waiter was Tony. Not only was he funny, he knew his pasta! We felt like old friends by the time we left! The bartender was not only beautiful to look at, he too treated us like old friends! He meet us at the door on our way out and gifted me with a juicy birthday kiss! Totally made my night!“

“Everything was great, and appreciated the friendly service. Highly recommend checking this place out.
+ Fires of Vesuvius was our favorite cocktail. Strong flavor and great spice level.
+ Enjoyed the crudo. It was light and fresh, packed with flavor.
+ Monkey bread seems popular, so I don't have much to add. I will say, it was larger than expected and pretty filling!
+ Definitely preferred the riggies over the rotalini. I just don't think we had the palate for the broccoli rabe.
+ Panna cotta had three or four layers, so satisfying to take a spoonful.
+ Baba-yaki was interesting. Great texture, and fun to eat. I don't think I ever tried amaro. It was definitely an adjustment.
Overall, it was a lovely and creative experience, with lots of little surprises throughout the evening.“

“Honestly, a stunning gem of a neighborhood restaurant. I loved their beet salad with dates, the dates were so soft and juicy. The pork chop was very good, but just a little bit dry for my taste. The desserts were smashingly good, we had the olive oil cake with cream in a prune sauce, as well as the coffee mousse. Would highly recommend!“

“The spinach mascarpone pasta was 10/10 the flavor was incredible! I would actually skip the ricotta toast- I wasn’t impressed. The rest was good, the squash pasta was another standout.
We were a tad rushed for a table of four, the rest of the pastas were OK (Ragu was a tad salty), good wine selection and cocktails were delicious all in all, 3.5-4/5!“

“Let me be blunt. This Italian restaurant is not a typical one that blue collared people visit. It's for the sophisticated ones. The food is served in small bowls that you can share. It's a different experience that you can try. Interesting is what I can say! By the way, this is a BYOB place.“

“We didn’t have a reservation and only stopped by for a glass of champagne. When they realized we were celebrating our marriage, they surprised us with a delicious dessert on the house, which was incredibly kind and thoughtful.
The entire place has such positive energy — great atmosphere, beautiful presentation, and amazing food (looking good on the tables). Every detail felt special. Without a doubt, we will be coming back the next time we’re in New York.“

“Delicious and such incredibly warm service!! Our first time here and will be back. Big winners were the tortelloni — big luscious pillowy bites — and the gramigna, a total crowd pleaser. Also enjoyed every one of our cocktails. Thank you Gigante team!!“
