“OMG This food is DELICIOUS!! We were in the mood for Jewish food and randomly chose this place online. The food they delivered was FANTASTIC. The brisket and gravy, the kasha varnishkas, the egg barley with mushrooms, the stuffed derma and dipping sauce, and those INCREDIBLE pastrami dumplings and onions were unbelievably yummy. Mustn't forget the potato salad and cole slaw! And the pickles!! And rye bread soft as a feather pillow. The food here is out of this world. Will take you right back to your best memories of growing up in Brooklyn, surrounded by the sounds and fragrance of Jewish dinner tables overloaded with love and Bubby's cooking. We will be back! “We literally come from Queens to this Blimpie shop all the time because we crave the delicious sandwiches.

Cleanliness: Firstly, the hygiene. The restaurant is so clean. You can tell all the meats and the veggies, everything is so fresh.

Accuracy: All the sandwiches are always done right. It’s perfect because we often don’t even get to open our bag until we get to the house. They honestly don’t get anything wrong.

Staff: The staff is so nice. And they’re so accommodating. They have Halal meats, which just means fresh amazing cold cuts. Thank you!“

“I don’t usually leave reviews but I just had to in this case. Pantano’s of Plainview catered my baby shower this past weekend. The food was amazing!! Three days later and I'm still getting texts complimenting the food. Gian Luca and his staff made everything so so easy, from the amount of food I would need to what to actually order to the sides and extra sauces; everything was perfect. With such a busy day, that was one thing I didn't have to worry and stress about. I highly recommend!“

“I've been coming to the Roast Sandwich House about six times over the last 3 months, there's a young man here named Gio he is very courteous and if efficient and processing our orders and recommending the specials each week when we come here. Good staff is hard to come by and he probably deserves a raise. We seem to eat out a lot around the island and he is probably one of the best servers I've seen.“

There are so many options for food, lots of drinks in fridges throughout the deli. There is an ATM inside, and just a heads up you get a slight discount for paying in cash. “I went there April 27th with my BF. He ordered the sandwich and I wasn't paying attention, we left and in the car he said he had issue with how it was made and wanted to throw it away. I said no, that sandwich was expensive, just bring me back and I will explain the issue and hopefully they will remake it for free. He was multitasking taking care of customers when the customer ordering saw a fly on his sandwich and Matthew handled it gracefully with an upbeat attitude and disposed of the sandwich in front of a line of customers including myself. They try to get the orders out the best they can sometimes it get busy at prime meal times just be patient it's all delicious. Maybe It takes 5 to 7 minutes extra, um okay. That ham though. With all that being said the gas station and parking and trying to get that sammy is horrendous. Guess that building percent did not apply cause its all bolla mart no pavement. Walk up maybe best option. Firehouse subs is the ess ech eye tea!“
