I’m gonna give 4 starts this time because since I don’t live in NYC I try to stop by every time I’m in town for work and this time I did the same, wanted to get a puchero since it was a chilly and cloudy day. I waited for puchero day on their soup menu and when I got there they were “out” of it. I believe it to be true of course, the sever was super nice and all but I think if you’re out of it, you make more. Especially if you’re are in the customer service industry, and especially with food. Flavor here is always good, a little overpriced but I think going there every one in a while is totally worth ir. I ended up just getting mbeju with cocido which was very tasty!“

“This is the cutest wholesome little shop ever. The cashier are nice, we visit them first time and got best treatment ever. We used the apps so the food is discounted- yet they treated us no different than usual customer, the food amount is good and it’s really yummy.

He said he would not come back to the store until she was fired. Even when another cashier came to assist, he continued cursing at her. I feel so bad. “My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

We tried the croissant pudding, the K Bueno, and a cappuccino — all were amazing. Everything i bought was amazing we went around 11:55 am it was relatively busy, when we ordered we waited around 30 minutes which isn't awful. We ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito, ube black sesame mochi, and a smores bar, + a free churro mochi. The burrito is filled with flavor especially with the green sauce, the mochi was crunchy on the outside soft on the inside, the smores bar is just like a elevated smores. Everything 10/10 we will be returning for more😋🤤“

“Interior/outside terrace: the interior is very functional, very few inside seating options. But it’s not like a comfy café. They do have a small outside seating area, which is nice, nothing special, but if you get a table there, you can enjoy your croissants in the sun.

Food quality/price: good selection of savoury & sweet food, very delicious. I got an earl grey bun & a pistachio croissant. Both very delicious, like out of another world. Loved them. I found their food to be quite expensive.
Suggestion: why not making tiny versions of the different treats (to a smaller price as well of course), so solo-visitors can try more delicious treats?

“I’ve been meaning to try this bakery for a while now and finally got to try today with my husband. The breads were delicious, soft and chewy and fillings were not too sweet. We tried the hot chocolate with oat milk as well and it was smooth and not too sweet which was just perfect! Service was very friendly and efficient. Loved the small sitting area towards the back side of bakery where you can enjoy some leisure time while enjoying delicious bread and your drink“
