“Have ordered many times from Ole’s. The food is delicious and service friendly and warm. Today, decided to eat in so we could try the nachos crispy and warm in the store. They were amazing!!! The other items were also great, my kids loved all of it. At the end, we had a chance to meet one of the owners, Manny. He was very friendly and warm, chatted with my boys and then surprised them with a warm churro. Needless to say, we’ll be coming back even more frequently now. Yum yum yum.”

“I wanted to Thank Everyone at the Sunrise Diner for all the years they made my Parents feel like family whenever they went there. My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. The service is the best we've ever had. They've treated my Family like Family. I cannot thank the People at the Sunrise Diner enough! They mean so much to my Family. And you can't beat their food!!! I've never had a bad meal their. Love all of you. Hope to get back to Wantagh soon and see you all! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH♥️”

“Yes, there are gluten free items here that are marked on the menu HOWEVER I thankfully had a waitress that basically said that their is airborne flour everywhere and that cross contamination is almost guaranteed for anything baked in the oven with the pizza (for example their baked GF chicken Parm dish). I was so appreciative how clear she was, saying that the gluten free pasta is boiled separately though they still can't guarantee it is celiac-safe. I risked it and got a pasta dish and fortunately didn't get sick. I hope they can find a way to make truly Celiac safe gluten free foods because their GF pasta was phenomenal!”

“We held a family fun night in their back room this weekend, about 30 people. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!! Thank you Amy & Jenny for such great bartending & waitressing!! “I called in my order for pickup and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The lady behind the counter helped me pick a wonderful dessert, Quesillo. Me and my fiance ate Pabellón Arepa and Pelua Arepa and it was so delicious. Perfectly cooked, freshly made and perfectly seasoned. The food is amazing I would definitely order from them again.”

So I had a crazy few days lol. I went to the Nelly/Ja Rule/Eve concert, the next day I worked and drove my son and I out to WildWood, NJ to participate in a short part of my boyfriend's annual family vacation, Tuesday night I left Wildwood at 10 PM because I had a notary class Wednesday. After the concert my friend Jen told me she was going to be here with her other friends. So I went to meet them because I didn't get to see them during the concert. Jen is so amazing she's very generous with me even though she doesn't have to be, so she paid for my burger that I ordered here because I didn't eat dinner and when I got to Boss Crocker's I was hungry. I gave the bartender a $20 tip because if someone pays for my meal I like to pay it forward and give the waitstaff or bartender a banger tip.

The bacon cheeseburger was very good. They made it very fast, I don't know if it was the hunger but I loved it. They made it medium rare at my request and it was one of the best burgers I ever scarfed down.

The bar was a pretty good environment, it was a pretty chill crowd for a Sunday night, more packed than I thought it would be. I can't say much about the drinks I only drank water but give Boss Crocker's a chance!”

“Hibachi has their own atmosphere. Nice, quiet due to time of day. Lunch is from 1100 to 3, Dinner is 3 to 8PM. Arrived at 4PM, no wait. Note Hibachi requires 2 personnel.”

“I’ve had Katie’s blueberry pie, cupcakes and her signature carrot cake and everything has been absolutely delicious! Her carrot cake is SO moist and full of delicious, fresh goodness that you can actually see the carrots and raisins. The frosting adds the perfect sweetness and enhances the cake’s flavor. The best I’ve ever had! Her blueberry pie, another winner, delicious and made with fresh blueberries and not overly sweet. As she said everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients and best of all you can taste the love she puts into her baking. Good luck with your new store and I will definitely be stopping by!!”

“We didn’t have the food long enough to take pictures 😅 but we are so happy we stoped at Salpino’s to try them out. We purchased three sandwiches 2 of “ the classic “ and 1 of “ the supreme “ . We also purchased the Farfalle pasta salad and chicken Caesar pasta salad. The chicken Caesar pasta salad is my new favorite thing in life… I want it every day 😂 We also purchased the prosciutto bread. Everything was amazing. Including the employees. It was an all around great experience and we cannot wait to take the 45 minute drive to go back!”

“Went on a whim and was very surprised at the ambiance and hospitality. Food and portions was very generous as well as delicious. The hostess recommended the fried shrimp tacos and we were blown away! I love the fact you have a beverage fridge there and grab any drink you want! I will definitely be going back.”

“Shooters is a great place! It’s where good food meets sports. You can always catch all football hockey baseball golf and more…. It’s conveniently located between the wantagh parkway, & 135 just 2 blocks from sunrise and the train. It’s also the first stop back from the beach so make sure you stop in for some great food . Food has a great selection from Bar food and apps to sandwiches wraps steaks and seafood! Decor is an awesome relaxed vibe with sandals on the walls and tiki straws hanging with surf boards on the ceiling. Large wall of TVs let’s you catch every game snd every play. Service was great as well with super friendly bartenders! The kids menu and family friendly environment was such a bonus. This place really captures the best of two worlds. We’ll be back for sure !!!”

“I tried the personal size chocolate bourbon pecan pie from Uncle Jeff’s. It was delicious! Mr. Church actually texted me and asked me to give him an hour to bake one fresh, since he didn’t have any on hand when I ordered. It was still warm when I picked it up. My wife, who normally doesn’t like sweets, tried a slice and she told me it was the best pecan pie she ever had! She said it wasn’t too sweet and it was the perfect consistency for a pecan pie. I can’t wait to try some of Uncle Jeff’s other varieties of pies!”

“The food is good. As long as you go before 5pm, you can get a 9.99 burrito meal which includes a drink. That price does not include shrimp or steak, or queso. The burritos are huge so it could feed two people of a smaller appetite. The quality of ingredients are also good. Great alternative to Chipotle.”

Gets very busy unlike most Burger Kings. In a busy area. There’s an abandoned Burger King in the back. Cool artifact of history. Looks like it’s been closed since the 90’s. Has a Coke Freestyle Machine. But sometimes it’s out of flavors. Can get free fries in the app. Dined in both times.”

“Larger sized Carvel with a large parking lot in front of the store. More freezers than usual, so a larger selection of cakes and ice cream. Service was quick and very friendly. Prices were reasonable. If you are headed west, be careful not to pass it like I did. It comes up quick.

“This place is AMAZING!!! the staff is so considerate, and the food is such a delicacy that I would go to war at least three times to have a single ounce of this savory grace my lips. If you do not come here you have not truly experienced a grain of happiness in your life.”

“Dinner here was good but chef needs to pay some more attention to detail. Shrimp for fajitas had tails on them when served and wife’s vegetarian dish had a beef item that was supposed to be beans. Table side Guac and spicy margarita was tasty. Service was attentive and place was decorated nicely in and outside for Halloween, nice touch.”

The other items were a good portion. Filet mignon was perfectly cooked. Black angus bolognese pappardelle was good. Pasta is made in-house. BBQ ribs were meaty and had plenty of sauce. Overall, we really enjoyed the meal.”
