The server, under direction took us to the worst place in the restaurant. My prayer was that it wasn’t because we were a family of color. I tried hard to disregard the thought as we were directed to sit outside the kitchen door. :—/. I was getting away from the kitchen. That was the last place I wanted to celebrate our special occasion. I asked for a different place in the restaurant that was housing one other visible couple. She was very happy to oblige us. When a restaurant is full, I can understand…. But this was far from the case. The server was 5STAR ! Food 5STAR ! I will definitely try it again with hopes that it was a mistake on the management part. My hopes…“

“I'm giving them a 5☆ only because the prices fit my budget as far as the fresh meats. The kitchen has changed since I first started eating there. The last couple of times I ordered perch and I got orange roughy which was a little dry a better fish but I had my taste for ocean perch everyone that works there is very friendly always greet you with a smile.“

“I went to Cilantro Thai Express for the first time this weekend and I have to say I was very impressed everything had great flavor and the tea I tried was quite good definitely will be back, the older lady working the counter and bagging the food was very nice even though she encountered some rude customers, and after seeing I had been waiting about 45 min she even offered to remake my tea and apologized which I appreciated and respected. If I where to offer some advice I’d suggest getting a digital board for orders so as they come and are ready people can just read and know where they are in line, that way it’s be less stressful on the older lady. “The meal with Mama Laura and server Tae was an incredible experience. You often hear of the chefs coming to the table talking with the patrons, Mama Laura was very personable and engaging. Server Tae instantly earned a generous tip by attending to us within minutes of us being seated. He showed genuine concern for our dining and spirits needs. I highly recommend this establishment for the excellent 'home cooked' soul food and customer service. You will not be disappointed. Also try the to go menu next door.“

“First time ordering and we were not disappointed. The set up was take-out and appeared neat, clean convenient parking.
The food was packaged with care, condiments provided and offered and the gentleman at the window was personable and pleasant.
The food was delicious! Seasoned to perfection, the French fries (real potatoes) were done and not chewy. The portions were more than adequate and again, we were pleasantly surprised and pleased that we found a legitimate carry out to order and look forward to returning. Don't change a thing!

“It's clean however very homey. The food is amazing I have eaten here twice and both times I cleaned my plate. The owners are extremely kind. Service was fast even though the place was little full. I went on Mothers Day weekend it was really affordable also. Great breakfast“

“Well there prices have gone WAY up but on top of that on the weekends they want to charge you an additional 18% they say there open until 9pm I was there at 810 pm the doors were locked what a bunch of lies I dove 43 miles for that but rest assured going back will be hard because I went to Boo Long up the street what a pleasant surprise they also close at 9pm but welcomed me in at 835 been going to Me Wah and king Wah for YEARS but am now rethinking it“

“I ordered a $12 corn beef I asked for the bread to be toasted. She tried to charge me more because she said that's a ruben just for you to toast the bread OK. I went inside I ordered a fry it was a handful of fries for $3. Tell me why I get to my car to eat my sandwich and my sandwich is cold. The cheese was not melted and the meat was room temp.And they were rude. I am never going back.“

“I went here to enjoy a night out with staff and it was the perfect little bar that we needed. The staff was so friendly and great listeners. I ordered a tequila sunrise and a prime rib philly steak sub with fries and mozzarella sticks. I absolutely loved both! The mozzarella sticks are topped with parmesan cheese and were cooked just right. This is a great place for a quick bite to eat and drink. The Dj was also full of life and was very entertaining ? “That's my go to for a number of reasons. Skeets is a staple in the community. After I come from a comedy show or a jazz concert. I always stop in Skeets before I go home. I have mad respect for an establishment that can be open for as long as he has been in business. I will continue to support.

“I’m writing this review and I aint even get the check yet lol this food surprised me and exceeded my expectations easily. The food was delicious, flavorful and really fresh. Surprisingly fresh. The Marty gras empanadas are the highlight. I don’t really mess with cheese or seafood but daaaamn they did they thing. I got the Turkey rib dinner, fuggin phenomenal and packed with good. The cocktails are really good and have a Nola kick to em lol . I also got cornbread, red beans and rice and the bourbon street smashed. I’m lowkey smashed . I’m coming back with big T for her birthday but it’s going to be our first time. Come check em out y’all. The food and plating was great but I had to drive in immediately - 1/27/25 - hey y’all, I’m back, with better photos, this place was sooooooo damn good. I don’t understand why it’s empty in a Sunday night but I don’t care. I got Turkey ribs again, my date had the catfish dinner and she scraped the bowl haha. The cocktails are pricey but you’ll taste why. I got the French quarter fizz and was speaking creole by the time I finished . Peep the photos.“

“Omg I was not expecting to have the best lobster of my life coming here.. we stopped in for food cuz they are open late.. and got the fried lobster n omg!!!! 🫠🤤🤤🤤 it was the best I ever had seriously!! Our bartender was Florida she was a whole vibe and the chefs name is O n he is a G with that dam lobster!!!
