I wanted a small and quaint space for the event. Courtney and all of her employees were AWESOME!! They were so helpful and caring, it made the event go so well. “We visited on a Saturday morning and it was very crowded, however, the staff got through the rush in a timely manner and still managed to make good quality drinks while being friendly. Overall good experience but on the pricier side of coffee. Its a nice touch that its only a short walk away from the falls-which we took advantage of.“

“Went to Cafe Europa this evening with my husband and son. Weiner schnitzel, Goulash and stuffed cabbage were ordered and all were excellent. Everything is homemade including the deserts. The owner was very nice and attentive. Will definitely go back.“

“I love Arabica coffeehouse. It’s a really friendly environment in historic downtown Willoughby. The owners Tim and Tina Are both very nice and welcoming and their staff is friendly. I love the huge selection of teas that they have to choose from. This is where I go when I just don’t want to be home by myself. Love to come here read or work a little and people watch. There is always someone friendly to talk to. I’ve made lots of friends here over the years.“

“I went here twice in the three days I was visiting. Everything was great. The place has an old fashioned diner vibe. Food was freshly made and no matter how busy they were, and they were definitely busy, the food came out so fast! The food was very good for breakfast. I recommend the pancakes and western omelette! “Really delicious for such a lowkey place on a strip next to the Cleveland Clinic. The people there were really nice and there are lots of board games available to help create a cozy atmosphere as best they can in that kind of space. “Great crew with a very effective management team. While picking up a coffee this morning on the tremendously popular Red Cup Day, I was amazed to see so many customers flood this location at once--at the drive through, over mobile orders, as well as walk-in orders like myself. I have never seen such a swell of customers all at once at any coffee shop. And yet, despite this massive surge of simultaneous orders, this crew ran like a well-oiled machine. Not only did they work together very efficiently to fill customers orders, they maintained a professional demeanor among the feeding frenzy.
I especially want to commend the management team of Alli and Timoteo who were on hand and made sure that not only were things handled as efficiently and professionally as possible but also that customers were kept apprised of the status of their orders and knew their orders had not been lost in the chaos. In fact, I was so impressed with how well this challenge was managed during the morning surge that I returned after my morning meeting just to let the management team know that I appreciated their professionalism and efficiency.“

“I love this place. The coffee is excellent. However, the last time I was in here, I asked for a cold brew and I asked them if they could do a cold foam like Starbucks. The way this man looked at me, like I had just committed murder. Don’t make people feel that way, A lot of these type of coffee shops do the same thing.“

“By far the best location in the area. (Heisley Rd. location would be 2nd). The majority of the staff is always pleasant and friendly. They move very quickly and organized when busy and even when not. Acknowledge every person that walks through the door even when they're slammed. Always polite, even with difficult customers. “Love me some Rising Star. They really turned the old Lee diner into a really nice space that fits into our barrio nicely. Rising Star always slings out great coffee. “How did my wife and I just find about this place? I thought it was new. I asked the waitress and was told it's been there for 7 years! We have been missing out! I love small cozy diners, and this fits the bill. Food was great. I got the breakfast burrito, and it was excellent! My wife enjoyed her meal also. Looking forward to going back!“

“I really appreciated just about every aspect of this location. Starting with the location it self. It’s right off the highway. You have the right of way through the light at the intersection so there’s no fighting traffic entering the location parking lot, then leaving there is an exit on the opposite side of the parking lot that gives you an easy out without fighting intersection traffic and lines you up to get back on the highway with ease.

There was plenty of parking in the parking lot.

The interior of the building is very spacious, clean and well kept. There’s plenty of options for comfy chair seating, and table seating. I did not feel like I was in a sardine can while I waited for my food and drink order. If I lived in the area I would be fine to come here to relax. The music was playing in the background but at a good level to enjoy but not so loud that it would need to be yelled over if you’re having a conversation.

The bathrooms are spacious and well kept up with.

The employees are friendly. I was greeted by two separate people walking in the door. They were quick with getting the order put together and accurate. Also very helpful in making sure my order was the way I wanted it, as I did have an odd request in how I wanted my drink made. There was no annoyance or irritation from the lady taking my order at my request and everything was repeated back to make sure it was correct.

I think there was training or instruction of some kind happening during my time in this location, it was nice to hear people being instructed in a kind and patient/ professional manner.

“I just recently took over the Jersey mikes stores out here, I started visiting this Starbucks recently and the girl today working drive thru with purple braids that she has styled into buns had THE BEST customer service. As a multi unit manager I understand how hard it is to get people that genuinely love their job or can atleast pretend to while they are there lol. I definitely think this employee needs some recognition.“

“I stopped by to Nordstrom on my way home from some doctors appointments and decided to get a drink. I really didn’t know what I wanted, but I’ve had a taste for banana lately. I asked the barista what flavors she had for an iced coffee of some sort and she gladly told me all the flavors(unfortunately, but not surprisingly) and what she suggested and we started a conversation. She was so friendly and sweet and patient. I ended up going with just an old French vanilla iced latte after all (haha), not to her discredit. She even wrote down the address of a spice place in town to try out. I believe her name was Miranda. And it was a simple act of kindness and a small conversation, but it really meant a lot to me after having some not great discussions at the hospital. I am usually pretty quiet and shy and don’t strike up conversations with other people I don’t know. There are those instances though when you just get really good energy from someone and it opens me up enough to have a nice interaction. It really made my day and I just wanted to put it out there that Miranda was a great barista, had wonderful customer service, and made a great latte 😊“
