“Great vide while came into the store. Warm welcome and quickly seated with a light lemon sensed water. Order the buta udon and an eel nigiri. The starter eel nigiri were nicely torched on a thin layer of rice. Might be a bit too much on the mayo but the teriyaki sauce is good.
Buta udon came with around 8 slices of marinated pork belly. The broth is clear yet has a depth in flavor.
It is a great place for friend and family gathering. For sure will come back for more. Thank you.“

“After a long day standing and talking at a convention, I was exhausted, dehydrated and craving something crunchy and filled with veggies. We found Queen Mother Cafe using a Google search for restaurants near our downtown hotel, and the Chaingmai Shred Salad was exactly what I was looking for. Shredded cabbage, romaine lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers and bean spouts topped with cilantro and peanuts. I added grilled chicken and with their Thai lime coriander nam pla vinaigrette, this was one of the freshest, tastiest dishes I’ve ever had! Loved it so much I ordered one to go for dinner before I left town the next day.

Husband and kiddo split the Beefeater burger and the chicken and shrimp pad Thai, both of which were highly praised. The Nam Jeun crispy Laotian spring rolls were also fantastic.

Loved it here - can’t wait to visit Toronto again and try more items off the menu!“

Just please do not ASSUME that because I have pale skin I'd want the white rice (and not even ask if I would prefer yellow or white rice.) Than repeatedly assume I can't handle spicy... I'm a little bit offended. Trust your customers know their limits and give them fair options! I insisted I love spice and what I got is still barely spicy to me...“

“Food and Service was exceptional. Work dinner. Definitely took us on a good journey and left us in a good coma. Service was outstanding. Only suggestion is if you are going to take home left overs they give you a number and it’s up to you to ask for it at the end. If you forget to ask you are out of luck. “I visited Bank Bao for the first time a few days ago. I ordered the Duck Poutine which was a 9/10!! The portion was very reasonable for the price and the quality of the meal was amazing. I came around lunch time (12pm) and I got my order within 10 minutes. The staff were very kind and brought my order to my table as I dined in. I definitely will make another visit soon and try other menu items!“

They have many non-beef/pork baos.Overall the baos were good, I had two one tofu one baja. The tofu had a great sauce! Food is fresh, quick, and fairly priced.
I recommend a visit, in the summer you can go upstairs and enjoy your lunch outside. 2m walk.
The problem is no place to eat there, not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice to seat close.

“I was in Mississauga for training and we drove out of our way to visit this resturant based solely on its reviews. I had read they had authentic Thai food and the chef was renown for it. I was not disappointed. We started our meal with fresh vegetables spring rolls, mango salad, and wonton soup. It was incredible and was prepared quickly. Our meal was Chicken Pad Tai and Seaford fried rice. Large portions and the food was so well seasoned and elegantly plated. The service was great. We had a wonderful visit that prompted this review. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend a visit.“

“Only stepped in because the 26 bus is a nightmare and it's -15C. Wasn't too hopeful as slices are >$7 with tip and the cheese was congealed. To my delight my margharita slice was DELICIOUS, piping hot, herbaceous, with a great cheese pull and light, flaky, flavourful crust.
