“DaNico is one of the top ranked restaurants in Canada and that’s for a good reason. The restaurant has a pleasant decor with knowledgeable and attentive staff worthy of Michelins star and of course the tasting menu was exceptional with delicious and innovative dishes that are pleasant to the eye, nose and tongue. The staff is also very accommodating to dietary restrictions even a few last minute requests of my party. Only detractor is that the restaurant had a constant smokey smell from the grilling in the kitchen. Nevertheless definitely recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or when you feel like splurging on a meal.“

“Was a recommended restaurant by a few and it didn't disappoint. Slightly empty on a Friday evening - guess long weekend vibes. The place has tons of seating, open kitchen vibe and good service. The fried rice was a 10/10 Shrimp toast was 9/10 The grandpas fun guo - 10/10 The beef carpaccio was 7/10 Decent portions except for the dimsums. Would go back for the fried chicken.“

“I absolutely love this place! I’ve had Tibetan breakfasts in many places, even in NYC, but this breakfast set has come close to capturing that authentic taste. The flavors are infused with Nepali touches, bringing back the essence of an authentic Tibetan breakfast. If you’re a fan of that kind of flavor, you won’t be disappointed with this restaurant. I highly recommend it, and the owner is incredibly accommodating.“

“After a long day standing and talking at a convention, I was exhausted, dehydrated and craving something crunchy and filled with veggies. We found Queen Mother Cafe using a Google search for restaurants near our downtown hotel, and the Chaingmai Shred Salad was exactly what I was looking for. Shredded cabbage, romaine lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers and bean spouts topped with cilantro and peanuts. I added grilled chicken and with their Thai lime coriander nam pla vinaigrette, this was one of the freshest, tastiest dishes I’ve ever had! Loved it so much I ordered one to go for dinner before I left town the next day.

Husband and kiddo split the Beefeater burger and the chicken and shrimp pad Thai, both of which were highly praised. The Nam Jeun crispy Laotian spring rolls were also fantastic.

“Food and Service was exceptional. Work dinner. Definitely took us on a good journey and left us in a good coma. Service was outstanding. Only suggestion is if you are going to take home left overs they give you a number and it’s up to you to ask for it at the end. If you forget to ask you are out of luck. “We started off with the Assorted fried cheese, the Brie was my favourite. Their homemade raspberry compote paired perfectly with the cheese.The chicken curry Udon was delicious! So creamy and the udon was cooked soft and perfect. My friend tried the Maze Udon, it was delicious as well. Ended the meal with their matcha cheesecake and strawberry mochi,everything was delicious! Had a few varieties of veg and non veg momos and a cauliflower filled bao. Everything tasted super fresh...the momos were delicious, I wish the bao had a little bit more sauce or flavour inside it. Had some yummy soju as well!! Would def go back for more.“

“I’ve been going to Sweet Lulu for over a decade. It’s definitely a staple in the Queen West community. The food is amazing - lots of flavours and options.

I highly suggest getting their shrimp or beef (if you’re into that)

Their Malay sauce is fantastic, as is their Hokkien noodle stir-fry.

They have many non-beef/pork baos.Overall the baos were good, I had two one tofu one baja. The tofu had a great sauce! Both bao were well cooked.Overall a great place only deducted a Star due to pretty slow service.“

Food is fresh, quick, and fairly priced.
I recommend a visit, in the summer you can go upstairs and enjoy your lunch outside. 2m walk.
The problem is no place to eat there, not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice to seat close.

“I was in Mississauga for training and we drove out of our way to visit this resturant based solely on its reviews. I had read they had authentic Thai food and the chef was renown for it. I was not disappointed. We started our meal with fresh vegetables spring rolls, mango salad, and wonton soup. It was incredible and was prepared quickly. Our meal was Chicken Pad Tai and Seaford fried rice. Large portions and the food was so well seasoned and elegantly plated. The service was great. We had a wonderful visit that prompted this review. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend a visit.“

The moto bun is quite good but could be better - a crispy chicken paired with the curry sauce would complement the soft bun. The service was really good and the server we had was very friendly.
