“Went here for the first time on my trip to Toronto and it did not disappoint! We had the Seared Buta as an appetizer, I had the Chicken Curry Udon and my boyfriend had the Beef Brisket Udon and it was 100% our favorite bite on our one week stay here in Toronto! The manager there (who was also our server) was absolutely fantastic and so so sweet. Food was amazing, staff was amazing, what more could you ask for?!“

“【A Perfect Thanksgiving Feast at Fish & Loaf ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️】 We had an extraordinary meal at Fish & Loaf with their Thanksgiving set menu, and every dish exceeded our expectations. We began with the Seafood Chowder, a rich, creamy soup loaded with perfectly cooked seafood. The balance of flavors was spot on—each spoonful was a comforting, savory mix of the ocean’s finest, warming us right up. Next was the Octopus Quinoa Salad, which was a pleasant surprise. The octopus was tender and juicy, paired wonderfully with the light, nutty texture of the quinoa. The fresh herbs and dressing gave it a refreshing, zesty kick that brightened up the dish. For the mains, the Grilled Iberico Pork Steak was simply divine. It was cooked to perfection with a slight char on the outside and tender, succulent meat inside. The cabbage and rice complemented the pork beautifully, adding a satisfying crunch and subtle sweetness. The Grass Fed Prime Ribeye Steak was another highlight—juicy, rich, and flavorful with just the right amount of fat marbling. The demi-glace sauce added a deep, savory richness, and the sautéed vegetables were tender with a slight crisp, adding balance to the dish. The Grilled Kinkin Fish was a masterpiece of simplicity. The fish had a delicate, flaky texture and a mild, fresh flavor that was enhanced by a light seasoning. Paired with fluffy, perfectly steamed rice, it was pure comfort on a plate. Finally, we ended with the Souffle Cheesecake, which was the perfect mix of light and creamy. It had a lovely, subtle sweetness and a melt-in-your-mouth texture that made it hard to resist. The ambiance was warm and cozy, perfect for a Thanksgiving meal, and our waitress was exceptional. She was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable about each dish, and she recommended an excellent Arisawa Sake from Kochi Prefecture, which paired beautifully with our meal. Fish & Loaf is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates good food, great service, and a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended~~~!!!“

“This is a great date night spot - great atmosphere, stylish design, creative menu and cocktail choices that make the experience of selection and tasting fun and curious. The service was great - friendly, helpful, accommodating. We went with the Ssireum Smash Fries which was very yummy and the tofu topping was a great touch (though i’m not a fan of the squiggly mccain style fries) and my partner had the Bulgogi-Asada Tako which she loved and said was worth the price. We had the Black Belt 3 Leches for desert which was nice and pleasant, but we were hoping for the sesame to come through more. The only drawback i’d say is the portion size for the price - though my partner said the taco was worth it. Will return for a happy hour!“

“Came here on my first day after moving in to the neighbourhood and who I presume is the owner was so sweet and kind! He gave me directions for things nearby and talked to me during my meal, and his kid looked like she was having a lot of fun as well. I ordered the Aloo Paratha and the plate was steaming hot when it came out and was the size of my chest, and it was 7 bucks! I gave a huge tip and I plan to return many times in the future!“

“A unforgettable dining experience last 07/04/25 (Friday)! Shoutout to Chef/Owner Danny Cancino and his team for an impeccable service! 👏 Every dish and the complimentary additions were phenomenal! The modern twist in Filipino cuisine was definitely well done!💖🌟 Here are some of my standout favorites 🤯: • Pineapple + Kombu (Seaweed): Refreshing and light, with crispy seaweed balancing the sweet, citrusy pineapple 💛 • Duck Ensaymada w/ Duck Prosciutto and Truffle Butter: One of the fluffiest breads I’ve ever had, inspired by classic ensaymada. Spreading truffle butter on it was chef’s kiss—it melts in your mouth! 😭👌 • Scallop Inari Lumpia: Beautifully presented with fried sushi rice, ginger-chili dressed Argentinian shrimp, and seared scallop on top. The rice was fluffy and so tasty I could eat it endlessly! • Iberico Pork Collar: Juicy, saucy, and umami-packed tender pork with chicharon, lettuce leaves, and sesame aioli. The pickled papaya (atchara) was a nice touch—I don’t usually eat atchara, but I loved it with this! • Beef Short Rib Kare-Kare: The star of the show! 🌟👏 Rich, classic kare-kare flavors with blanched bok choy and eggplant. The thick, peanuty sauce was delightful—if only there was rice! 🤣😋 Hope as many people as possible get to try this ultimate gourmet experience, whether you’re visiting Toronto or a Canada local! 🌟 Thank you Mineral!☺️Until we visit again!“

“Food and Service was exceptional. Work dinner. Definitely took us on a good journey and left us in a good coma. Service was outstanding. Only suggestion is if you are going to take home left overs they give you a number and it’s up to you to ask for it at the end. If you forget to ask you are out of luck. I was so looking forward to taking the left overs to my honey at the hospital.😔 We will just have to come back😊“

“Absolutely delicious asian food. Used to come here 2-3 times a week when I studied at TRSM. The lady working there was always so friendly and would greet me every time and asked how my studies were going.
The only downside is that this food court is a bit sketchy (It’s downtown, so it’s to be expected) but the security guards seem well equipped to deal with any problems.
Grilled chicken was fantastic.“

“This interesting Tibet restaurant houses a handful of tables for 2 or more people on busy Bloor Street West. Street parking only available in the area and reservations for more than 2 recommended, even on weeknights.
Our group of 6 had dinner here last night & we were in for a treat! Many great dumplings to choose from with a variety of meats and vegetables and multiple sauces ranging from mild, to mid-heat to hot.
We loved the glass noodle salad, the butter chicken Momo, laphing and the pork and beef Momo with mild and hot sauces. The mango Lhasi is amazing. Nice atmosphere although it can be quite loud.“

“This place is a top 3 Korean spot in the city for me. Our server Hannah was incredible and no matter how busy the place is (they’ve got one server) she’s always happy to help. The katsu was delicious, Korean Dumplings had a great spice mixed in with the pork, and the japchae was basically the best I’ve ever had. I live on the other side of the city but I go out of my way to come here.“

“Ka Chi is my go-to restaurant whenever I’m in downtown Toronto with my friends and is my favourite Korean restaurant near my university. The food is always delicious and friendly service.
My favourite dish is the bibimbap served in a hot stone bowl. I love the bulgogi and vegetables. It arrives sizzling, stays warm throughout the meal, and has such fresh, delicious flavours. I also love the complimentary gyoza.
Another bonus that I really appreciate is the self-serve side dishes. You can refill them as much as you’d like, which makes the dining experience even better.“

Both bao were well cooked.Overall a great place only deducted a Star due to pretty slow service.“

“Oh my god!! Ive lived in the area for years and never thought to come here. I love Chinese food but all the chain places have gotten so cheap with their ingredients that there’s barely any real meat in their meals. This tasted so real and fresh, I’ll be coming back“

“To-Ne Sushi in Toronto is genuinely amazing. This little spot completely changed how I think about sushi in the city. The fish is unreal — buttery toro that melts, sweet scallop that tastes straight from the ocean, and salmon that has zero of that “fishy” aftertaste you get at mediocre places. The rice is warm, perfectly seasoned, and packed with the kind of care you only see when a chef actually respects the craft.
Their aburi is a standout. Seared salmon belly with a light miso glaze hits that perfect mix of smoky, crispy, and rich without being heavy. Hand rolls come out with nori that’s still warm and crisp, not soggy. If you sit at the bar, do the omakase. The chef picks each piece, explains what you’re eating, and paces everything so every bite feels intentional.
The vibe is intimate and low-key — no loud music, no gimmicks. Just good people making incredible sushi. Service is sharp but friendly. You’re never rushed, never waiting too long, and they actually seem happy you’re there.
For the quality, it’s worth every dollar. I’ve been multiple times and it’s been flawless each visit. If you’re in Toronto and actually care about sushi, skip the hype spots and book To-Ne. It’ll ruin other places for you, in the best way.“

“I can honestly say Martino Pizza & Asian Fusion Kitchen is one of those places that reminds you why supporting local businesses matters. The hype is real and the drive is 100% worth it. (36 hours for me btw, hahaha.)
The General Tao’s Chicken Pizza is absolutely incredible. It’s such a unique creation, but somehow every flavour works perfectly together. The balance of sweet, savoury, crispy, and cheesy is something you have to experience for yourself. This isn’t just a “viral” food item this is a pizza made with real creativity, passion, and care.
Toronto is truly blessed to have the owner and his wife sharing their craft with the community. Being in business for 26 years says everything about the love and dedication they’ve poured into this place. You can taste the thoughtfulness in every single thing they make nothing feels rushed, nothing feels ordinary. Every dish has a story behind it and you can feel the pride they have in what they do!!!
Places like Martino’s are what make the food scene special. It’s not just about the food, it’s about the people behind it, the passion, and the memories created around it.
The General Tao’s Chicken Pizza is worth the hype 100%. Do yourself a favour and make the trip for it you won’t regret it!“

“Here is one of my favorite places to have lunch when I'm downtown.
Food is fresh, quick, and fairly priced.
I recommend a visit, in the summer you can go upstairs and enjoy your lunch outside. 2m walk.
The problem is no place to eat there, not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice to seat close.
Vegetarian options: Yes. You have vegan options available.“

“Would definitely go again, ingredients were fresh and well portioned between all the toppings. The size was perfect for lunch and at a great value. There weren’t any “filler” toppings, and the flavors was great. ( I asked for a recommendation and got the “it’s lit” bowl. Just spicy enough for me!) Staff was friendly and efficient. Quite happy with my first visit and looking forward to trying all types of combinations in the future.“

“I was in Mississauga for training and we drove out of our way to visit this resturant based solely on its reviews. I had read they had authentic Thai food and the chef was renown for it. I was not disappointed. We started our meal with fresh vegetables spring rolls, mango salad, and wonton soup. It was incredible and was prepared quickly. Our meal was Chicken Pad Tai and Seaford fried rice. Large portions and the food was so well seasoned and elegantly plated. The service was great. We had a wonderful visit that prompted this review. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend a visit.“

“It was incredible. I was a little confused walking in, since they share their front counter with a different bakery business. But it was a wonderful experience. We sat at the Chef’s Counter. The chefs were all friendly and kind, and it was good to see them enjoying themselves.
And the food was delicious. My date and I got 3 appetizers, one small plate, and two big plates. It was more than enough food for the two of us, and we took leftovers home. The Char Siu was to die for; melt in your mouth delicious. We plan on coming back eventually.
It’s a pricey option, we spent about $250 CAD including food, drinks, and tip, so this isn’t going to be a place we can eat regularly. But it is definitely a place we will come back to for another nice night. Well worth it!“

“Stopped by Kevin’s Taiyaki, a little hole-in-the-wall spot inside a market and a fun place to try a unique treat.
🧆 Food:
I had the custard taiyaki, and my friends tried one for the first time as well. Everything was solid — sweet, warm, and perfectly baked.
👥 Service:
The cashier was really sweet and accommodating, even accepting USD, which made the visit easy and friendly.
🎨 Aesthetic:
It’s a simple stand that focuses on one item, keeping the experience straightforward and centered on the taiyaki itself.“
