“Great vide while came into the store. Warm welcome and quickly seated with a light lemon sensed water. Order the buta udon and an eel nigiri. The starter eel nigiri were nicely torched on a thin layer of rice. Might be a bit too much on the mayo but the teriyaki sauce is good.
Buta udon came with around 8 slices of marinated pork belly. The broth is clear yet has a depth in flavor.
It is a great place for friend and family gathering. For sure will come back for more. Thank you.“

Just please do not ASSUME that because I have pale skin I'd want the white rice (and not even ask if I would prefer yellow or white rice.) Than repeatedly assume I can't handle spicy... “Food and Service was exceptional. Work dinner. Definitely took us on a good journey and left us in a good coma. Service was outstanding. Only suggestion is if you are going to take home left overs they give you a number and it’s up to you to ask for it at the end. If you forget to ask you are out of luck. “Been here quite a few times and still one of my favourite downtown restaurant. The place is cozy and charming. Food is amazing. Friendly staff and portions are generous.

Highly recommended their Chiang Mai Shred with Lime, Coriander Vinaigrette; Ping Gai; Chicken & Shrimp Pad Thai; Thai Spicy Chicken Peanut Noodle bowl. The rest of the menu is also good.“

“I visited Bank Bao for the first time a few days ago. I ordered the Duck Poutine which was a 9/10!! The portion was very reasonable for the price and the quality of the meal was amazing. I came around lunch time (12pm) and I got my order within 10 minutes. The staff were very kind and brought my order to my table as I dined in. I definitely will make another visit soon and try other menu items!“

“The momos were great! I wish they could have been a bit more flexible with some of our inquiries to try different things like making half cabbage and half paneer for the 8 Momo dish but you can only try the variety if you order the platter which we ended up doing.“

The soup is a bit pricey but because I do takeout every time, I use the leftover broth and make it stretch for at least one more day.…so it works out. The service team is very well working together to make the experience great. The best part is that we got to sit at the chef table. They have many non-beef/pork baos.Overall the baos were good, I had two one tofu one baja. The tofu had a great sauce! Both bao were well cooked.Overall a great place only deducted a Star due to pretty slow service.“

Food is fresh, quick, and fairly priced.
I recommend a visit, in the summer you can go upstairs and enjoy your lunch outside. 2m walk.
The problem is no place to eat there, not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice to seat close.

“I was in Mississauga for training and we drove out of our way to visit this resturant based solely on its reviews. I had read they had authentic Thai food and the chef was renown for it. I was not disappointed. We started our meal with fresh vegetables spring rolls, mango salad, and wonton soup. It was incredible and was prepared quickly. Our meal was Chicken Pad Tai and Seaford fried rice. Large portions and the food was so well seasoned and elegantly plated. The service was great. We had a wonderful visit that prompted this review. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend a visit.“

“Ordered delivery and it arrived super fast since it wasn’t peak time. Everything was packed really well and they were generous with the sauces.

The salmon was very fresh, and the yam roll was so good — the crunchy tempura bits inside gave it an amazing texture. I ordered the 213 set and loved that it came with salad and miso soup too, felt like a great value overall.

“Only stepped in because the 26 bus is a nightmare and it's -15C. Wasn't too hopeful as slices are >$7 with tip and the cheese was congealed. To my delight my margharita slice was DELICIOUS, piping hot, herbaceous, with a great cheese pull and light, flaky, flavourful crust.

There weren’t any “filler” toppings, and the flavors was great. ( I asked for a recommendation and got the “it’s lit” bowl. Just spicy enough for me!) Staff was friendly and efficient.
