Really good ayce, you should 100% do it. Great deal and decent selection. Favourite is the buldak chicken pizza. Wings are overly coated with too much breading, drumsticks were better. Definitely get the drumsticks.

Takeout review:

Pretty tasty pizza with Korean flavours. Chewy dough that’s pretty unique. The bulgogi flavour was a little like getting ground beef on your pizza. A little expensive for a small pizza.

The signature oven baked wings come in a sweet and spicy sauce; definitely reminds you of Korean fried chicken sauce.“

“Amazing food, truly a good asian + italian fusion and offers a good price for a big portion of food. The katsu was really nice as it was a fairly big portion and had a nice crunch outside, not too greasy but just amazing paired with the rice paired with the meal. Tteokbokki was mildly spicy but may differ from person to person.

The quality of the pizzas is exceptional--generous toppings and the very freshest, very best of everything. The do not skimp. Juniors medium is actually a large, so there is great value on offer. “I've tried their pizzas a few times. Their 1 slice + pop deal has cheese pizza and pepperoni options. I tried the pepperoni slice and really liked the crust and fresh flavour. It tasted light and non-greasy which I appreciated. Besides the slice deal, I tried their sausage & pepperoni medium size pizza and that tasted great too. This is a great addition to the neighbourhood and recommended for good quality pizza.“

“what a fantastic place! Accessible, welcoming and wow that pizza is good! Thank you for such a great evening, we'll be seeing you again soon!“

“Happy hour menus have been making a comeback with the weakening economy. Planta’s menu is one of the most extensive and offers great value to boot. While beer and wine ring in at $6 and $9, respectively, it’s the $10 cocktails that wet my whistle. You can’t go wrong with the lych please, a gin cocktail lightly sweetened with lychee, lemon, and pineapple with a hibiscus sugar rim that delights.

Planta also provides a huge food offering that doesn’t skimp on portions. With the lettuce wraps ($12) being half off their regular menu price ($23), I expected a shrunken helping the equivalent to two or three wraps. So, when the full plate arrived with enough of the gochujang covered crispy fried tofu and roasted Brussels sprouts to make seven wraps we were flabbergasted. Oh no, we ordered way too much food!

The menu offers no description with the chick’n fried mushrooms ($7) but they turn out to be lightly battered oyster mushrooms that’s dusted with salt and pepper served with a thinned sweet chili sauce. They’re dangerously addictive and so tasty that I could swap these for a chicken nugget any day.

In a similar vein, the crust of the cauliflower wings ($8) was so crispy despite not being overly battered. Drizzles of unagi sauce and sweet chili mayo covered the vegetables giving each bite a burst of flavour.

For a lighter nibble, the summer rolls ($6) are an option. It’s just filled with a lot of carrot and rice noodles and needed more of the other ingredients (papaya, tofu, and herbs) to stand out.

The crispy rice ($9) would work better left intact, so the starch doesn’t become cold and dry. At least they put plenty of the spicy ahi watermelon and guacamole on top to balance out the tasteless rice ball.

I preferred the spicy crab hand roll ($5 each), which was stuffed to the gills with shredded hearts of palm tossed with ponzu and spicy mayo. It’s more of a taco than handroll so it isn’t the easiest to eat but does mean there’s little rice and tons of filling.

The sole dish that threw us both off was the spinach and artichoke dip ($11). How can you mess up a creamy dip? By adding so much coconut oil into the recipe that coconut was all we could taste. It felt like I was eating a savoury coconut cream pie with chunks of vegetables. Its only saving grace was they don’t skimp on the tortilla chips… too bad we didn’t need more than a few each.“

The short rib meal, mushroom risotto & chicken parm with pasta was just so very delicious! I love this place! Of course it is busy because we love great food, but worth the wait if you have to. Of course, the pizza is amazing, but you must try the appetizers like the mozzarella sticks and garlic bread. The atmosphere inside is fantastic, and the patio on College Street has the best vibes. “Only stepped in because the 26 bus is a nightmare and it's -15C. Wasn't too hopeful as slices are >$7 with tip and the cheese was congealed. To my delight my margharita slice was DELICIOUS, piping hot, herbaceous, with a great cheese pull and light, flaky, flavourful crust.

After researching Toronto’s many pizza options on Google maps we settled on Libretto, because I really wanted Neapolitan style pizza but importantly, we needed a gluten free and vegan option for my friend. If you are gluten free, do not sleep on Librettos! The gluten free crust was so good we had to double check with the staff that it really was gluten free!
