“New owners of this restaurant, formerly known as Tangs Wok in Vancouver. They were sorely missed! I’m so glad they’re back. Our first visit to their new place was a great experience and as always, we were not disappointed. They’re incredibly friendly and genuinely remember their repeat customers. The drive is absolutely worth it. Don’t miss the salt and pepper pork chops, a favorite. Highly recommend giving them a try!“

“Tasty Corner is my favorite Chinese food place in Portland Oregon. Their prices are pretty reasonable considering the size the of the portions, and the vegetables are always very fresh. Try the Dry Cooked String Beans (by themself or with a protein) and the Eggplant with Fried Tofu. So good!“

“Master Kong's looks like a pretty unassuming neighborhood restaurant, like a lot of those in Portland, but the jianbing here really punches above its weight! We had a few different dumplings, the beef brisket, the jianbing, some vegetables, and everything was very well prepared and delicious. Loved it!“

“First off, shout out to our new boy JASON. Never met you in my life but from now on whenever I think of dumplings, I'll think of you. Always here at the perfect time and bringing exactly what I forgot to even ask for. Truly a hero and a scholar. My gf had to make room 2 times to finish all the food we got. Soooooo clearly its good.“

“Been here twice and was not disappointed! Great vibes! We had a reservation so we were seated promptly even without having the 4 people all at once. Order was supposed to be placed at the bar which was a little inconvenient. In drinks we got the Dew Process which was sweet but nice, United States of Baijiu and Green Machine were great. Mandarin wings were amazing as always, tofu was greasy but great, honey shrimp was awesome! The silk dumplings were not so great since they were too doughy and I could barely taste the wagyu beef in it. All in all a fun experience!“

“Just the absolute best. Incredibly consistent, astoundingly high quality. I would not have believed white rice and chicken could be this good. I’ve tried many things on the menu but I return to the chicken & gyoza combo. I actively crave it sometimes. My only regret is that I didn’t know about Lee’s sooner…“

“Loved eating here! We were only passing through Portland and needed a place to stop and eat and recharge and we're very happy that we found this restaurant!
Friendly staff. Quick and excellent service. Delicious food! Enjoyed everything that we ordered, and we ordered a lot lol“

“Ordered takeout. Was suprised to see you can order a good amount of battered/fried items to be gluten free :) the sesame beef was amazing 10/10 the sesame chicken wasn't great because they use breast instead of thigh and the size of the pieces of chicken are waaayyyy too large for sesame chicken and that's coming from a dude who can take big bites. But yeah since they're so large and breast they're just kinda dry and un enjoyable I'd give them a 4/10. Now these aren't gluten free but the pork potstickers are huge and pretty tasty I'd give them a 7/10 and the fried prawns were amazing 10/10“

“Immediately when you walk in and it feels like a great mom and pop noodle shop. The wonton and brisket noodles were easily some of the best I've had. Rich, flavorful beef broth with such a nice chew and bounce from the noodles. The wontons were also large and had minced pork and shrimp inside. The mixed meat congee was also a great order. Hot with plenty of meat that paired nicely with their chinese donut that was thin, not greasy, and so, so good. Also get their refreshing soy milk drink!“

“While I can’t say it felt like China, I can say the food was pretty decent. It’s the kind of meal you might get in a neighborhood hole-in-the-wall noodle shop somewhere in China. Pretty satisfying food . It’s a cozy little place. Seemed pretty clean. Definitely an efficiency layout. Straightforward noodle and dumpling place with a few other options. The barbecue was OK too.“

“This spot is FIRE! 🔥 We ordered the orange chicken and general tso and they were so good!! Saucy, crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside! So much food, couldn’t finish mine so now I have dinner 🩷 The crab puffs and spring rolls were hot and crunchy and the fillings were yummy!! Thank you for throwing in a chili oil for us, the extra kick made the food a hit!!! Now I know why this place is highly rated, I’m in love!!!! 😍“

“Best chow fun in town. Can't get fresher noodles anywhere because they supply most of the Chinese restaurants and stores in town with their noodles. Their fried rice is really good, too. They also make their own tofu, both fresh and fried. Their rice noodle rolls are good, too. just have to get their early in the day because they sell out fast. The owners are some of the nicest people and work extremely hard. Love giving them my business.“

“First visit today. Throwback pricing, truly. I don't know how it works but they are charging what I would have expected to pay ten years ago. It was a great value. No, it isn't pretty outside. That does not matter. I can't believe somebody left a bad review based on that, while never having eaten here. It was plenty comfortable and the service was fast and friendly enough. The food was very good. We will be back.“

“Great food. Fun atmosphere. We had a larger party. Paid prix fixe for 13 people and bought tons of cocktails. We were polite. Our server was not very friendly. Almost seemed like we were bothering her. Food came out 15 minutes before 1st round of drinks. Kept dropping more plates before we finished a course. We easily spent $1200+ (still tipped 20%) and felt like we were rushed out of there. I didn't make the reservation, just got invited. Having worked 18 years in Portland restaurants (BOH), it just felt unwelcoming. Again, the food and place are great. Just wish we had more time to savor the moment without feeling like a hassle. Small tables will have better luck I'm guessing.“

“This place came up on my fyp a couple weeks ago and I am so glad I finally got to eat here! The food is SO good!
First of all, just look at how fat those egg rolls are. I was amazed by the sheer size of them, and they were absolutely delicious. The orange chicken was fantastic too. I can't wait to order again and try something else!
Aside from the amazing food, I think my favorite thing is that they offer free delivery if you live within 2 miles of the restaurant. I cannot tell you how happy it made me to get delivery on my day off without having to drop $40 due to third party fees. And my tip actually went to my driver!
They were fast too. I ordered on a Saturday evening like right at the start of dinner time, and the driver was outside with hot, fresh food barely 30 minutes later.
Will absolutely be eating here again!!“

“This is one of my favorite places in Portland. Here is the review after over 2 years of dining here. They offer authentic Chinese Street BBQ which I couldn’t find back then. I like to order extra spicy, but I don't recommend it if you don't have a very high tolerance for spice. My must-order items are skewers (beef, pork belly, squid, chicken gizzard, chives, potato) and enoki beef aluminum box with rice vermicelli. Their oyster is pretty good too.
The service becomes more contactless as they develop but the tip suggestion starts from 18% doesn't make sense since there is very minimal service. Also you can't expect friendly service from a Chinese restaurant 😁
Overall, food is pretty good and I really want this business to be sustain.“

“We’ve been eating at this restaurant since our kids were little so well over 40 years and today I came by to enjoy a plate of their chicken handmade noodles, which was just outstanding and I asked for a small dish of sweet-and-sour sauce and they bring it and it just adds everything and honestly everybody should come here to this classic Chinese restaurant for these delicious foods. And very pleasant staff and a beautiful clean environment and affordable one dish, which was about $15 easily served two people and I’m stuffed. I think it’s very important to support independent restaurants in Portland and not just do chain restaurants of course because these independent guys need our participation and frequenting to make their lives continue and this way.“

“It was such a joy to find this place again as I was a regular to their pork baos when they had the cart on tenth.
Fast, delicious and well priced for a full meal. June is my favorite, she goes above and beyond on everything she does. Major shout out to her and her ever welcoming vibe.“

“We ordered take out, but I was impressed by how good everything tasted. We ordered chicken chow mein with cashews and the portion size was HUGE! I ordered General Tsao's chicken and it tasted very good. That also had a huge portion. Would definitely recommend.“

“Yummy is a hole in the wall, mom and pop shop that is always a must for Chinese food in Portland. The owners are kind, hardworking and accommodating. Don’t judge a book by its cover because the food here is reminiscent of the classic (good) Cantonese food you could get back pre 2010s in PDX. Not one of the gentrified and overpriced Chinese restaurants I am sad to see increasing in numbers. Nothing but quality food and generous portions. So please don’t let gems like these disappear.
I’ve come here countless times with my family. Anywhere from 4 people to more than 10. We like to bring everyone here for any occasion.
Food: never gone wrong with anything I’ve ordered here. The stewed beef brisket is hands down my favorite dish here. Not a commonly found dish in restaurants anymore. The time and care put into this dish can cure the common cold to a broken heart. The chow fun and chow mein are always go to orders. The rice noodles are always fresh and have the perfect glisten in the chow fun (I tore into the dish before snapping a picture). Any steamed fish is always perfectly cooked. If they have the bbq spareribs, order them immediately and thank me later. Can’t knock any of the more Chinese-American dishes either.
As Cantonese food can be quite dense and filling, I love the balance with the fresh sushi. Tuna/maguro and yellowtail/hamachi are my favorites here. Generous nigiri sizes and the rolls are lovely.“

“The Salt & Pepper Squid was so good! The squid was super bouncy and tender—not chewy at all. Lightly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with that addictive salt and pepper seasoning that just makes you want one more bite after another. Before I knew it, the whole box was almost gone. Got a choice to paired with rice, noodles or vegetables, it’s flavorful but still feels light and not heavy at all. Low-calorie and delicious— it’s a must try around here! 😋“

“Might be biased because I was with a dear friend, and my first time here, but damn those were good noodles. Just the right amount of spice, so good. Thai Tea was unusual, still not sure if I liked it or not. I definitely suggest heading here for a nice sit down, but they also do carryout, like a lot.“

“What a fantastic little gem of an Asian food truck in downtown! My husband and I ordered the teriyaki chicken and chicken yakisoba. I was floored by the amount of food you get for $10! Everything was so flavorful and delicious! Service was excellent. I was impressed that the truck was only run by one man --- and he really slayed in that kitchen! We will definitely be returning here to try more dishes soon!“

“Ate here for the 1st time. This is an area with several Asian eating places. The 1st one we went into was completely empty so we decided to check out Jin Jin just across the parking lot. There is only 8-10 tables but it was packed! A good sign. Friendly and good service. Food was wonderful! Only bad thing is the only table available was right behind the door so whenever the door was opened the vertical blinds would swing back and forth over my head.“

“Scenic upstairs setting overlooking the lan su gardens. Tranquil atmosphere with the chirping of a variety of birds in the background. Teahouse is air conditioned and offers both iced and hot teas. The price for tea and dessert is very reasonable. Worth a visit, but plan time to enjoy the juxtaposition of a peaceful garden inside the hustle and bustle of the city.“

“What a wonderful surprise! This restaurant was recommended by a family member, and we ended up making a reservation for our group of 12 for a birthday dinner. The service was outstanding from the first phone call all the way through to our server wrapping up our leftovers for us. The food was outstanding, generous portions, fresh beautiful vegetables, wonderful flavors. I would absolutely recommend them and hope to visit again next time we’re in the area!“

“My wife and I order Ying Bun several times a month. We just love it everything is fresh and taste like authentic Chinese food. We have a standing order, that we order every time.
We start with:
1) two large wonton soups that has lots of big large beautiful wontons with fresh snow peas, carrots, celery, sliced chicken, barbecue pork and large shrimp too!
2) Number 5 Dinner that comes with Fried Shrimp, Pork fried rice, Sweet and Sour chicken, Subgum chicken chow mein
3) large order of crab puffs
4) large order of fried shrimp
This is our order, we love this meal. We get at least 3 meals out of our order. Always hot and fresh. We don't even mind the 20-minute wait time to make it. Just awesome to have something wonderful local because we like to go home put our pajamas on watch TV and eat all this food.“

“We were looking for late night ears after a concert on a weekday. They were open until midnight, that was all we needed to know. We ordered chicken fried rice, cucumber salad, corn, shrimp skewers, pork belly skewers and the bacon and enoki mushroom skewers. The spice blend on the table (not the spicy one) is MAGIC! It was delicious in everything! We loved the flavors of everything. The skewers had the perfect amount of char without tasting burned. The fried rice was so fresh, some of the best I've had. The cucumber salad was perfectly seasoned and tasted amazing with a bite of that pork belly. I will definitely return for another meal, there are so many more things I want to try.“

“If you like it hot, you have to come and try the crispy spicy fish. If you don't like it hot, come with someone who does and have a bite of theirs! Also the pork wonton with spicy oil were excellent. Lunch portion was generous, although the hot & sour soup and spring roll were very pedestrian.
Update: June 2026. Fish and chili oil wonton were still very good, but didn't seem all that spicy (it's still tingling hot). Portion was decent but it wasn't too much for one person to have both a Lunch and an appetizer.“

“Amazing Cantonese style Chinese food. My sifu says this is the last good Cantonese restaurant in downtown Portland. Prices are so reasonable, portions are huge, staff is friendly and the food is excellent. I highly recommend the string beans with any meat you want and the Chinese style cauliflower with preserved pork. There Salt and Pepper Squid is to die for! I had it with a friend when she was visiting and she is still talking about months later how we have to go there the next time she visits.“

“Look, it’s not a high end restaurant. Has boxes in the dining area and the windows are boarded up. That said the food seemed to be made all fresh, fast, tasted good and there was great service. In the future takeout is probably the route to go but the waiter was really nice. Compared to a lot of restaurants it’s probably a 2.5 out of 5. But just like your favorite B tier movie that you’ve watched 100 times you’ll keep coming back to Rainbow Dragon.“
