“I have had BBQ across the United States and this is on the higher end. This is one of places I will go back to. Service is quick, prices are great and you can't beat the food. Only complaint I have is I like a finer chop and a tangy dressing. So I would give Hog Wild a 4 1/2 stars, great job guys.“

Pulled pork was also delicious, but the ribs were my favorite. Great collard greens too! Reasonable prices as well for a hearty meal.“

Food here is priced fair . $18.99 for a burger meal is good in my eyes , you actually get full and it doesn't taste like fake lab grown meat. “My husband and I have been looking for a good barbecue spot for some time and this spot DELIVERED in every way. Their nachos (we got burnt ends as our meat) were some of the best, if not best, I’ve ever had and incredibly filling. Not like most restaurants where only the top chips get covered, they serve it on a tray so eeeeeeverything is smothered in the delicious cheese and toppings. Their Mac n cheese is incredible and I highly recommend too. I got the one meat platter (ribs) and was STUFFED. We will absolutely be coming back in the future!“

And the burger was good, had a “taziki sauce” of some kind or it was the house made pickles that gave it a “Greek” or “gyro” kind of taste to it. But everything was quite good!“

“This is one of my favorite places in Portland. Here is the review after over 2 years of dining here. They offer authentic Chinese Street BBQ which I couldn’t find back then. I like to order extra spicy, but I don't recommend it if you don't have a very high tolerance for spice. My must-order items are skewers (beef, pork belly, squid, chicken gizzard, chives, potato) and enoki beef aluminum box with rice vermicelli. Their oyster is pretty good too.

The service becomes more contactless as they develop but the tip suggestion starts from 18% doesn't make sense since there is very minimal service. Also you can't expect friendly service from a Chinese restaurant 😁

“I've been going to this Korean restaurant for more than a decade. Food is very good, sometimes so busy that servers can't reach you right away, but usually they are very good and friendly. They do Korean BBQ and numerous traditional Korean dishes, soups All are very good, I recommend.“

“This is a no frills kind of place. Just come for the food. The owner/staff is friendly. We ordered chow mien, gai lan, and veg fried rice. The fried rice was tasty. I didn't expect that from veggie fried rice. I will try and come back before we leave town.“

“The food tasted great, but not all of it was hot or moist. The bbq chicken was really dry & cold. The bbq ribs were dry & not fall off the bone. They have two kinds of brisket moist or tender & the tender was dry, but the moist was delicious & tender. The beans were cold & not very good, but the cole slaw was delicious which is hard to find in a restaurant. You can order sandwiches if you want to eat light or a meat salad which some people did & said it was delicious. The French fries were hot & very nasty. A meal with a drink will cost you just over $20 a person, but you will leave full. The picture is my plate of moist brisket, cole slaw, French fries & the piece of bread you get. You pick your meat, two sides & it comes with bread.“

“This place is amaaaazing! Our teenager was asking for egusi and fufu, and when I looked up reviews it was clear this was the place to go. We ordered a ton of food for 5 people not realizing the chef was working alone, but he really came through for us, drinks and all. Every bit was so savory and delicious - my favorites were the meat pie, goat stew, and collard greens, but I tried some of everything we ordered (most of the menu) and it was all stupendous, including the blended fruit drinks. The location has more of an old punk music venue vibe so I'm glad we got it to go, but the chef says they are opening a full service restaurant location soon and we are looking forward to checking it out. Try this place, it's worth every penny.“
