“Great selection of food from the resident food trucks and a great rotating tap list at the bar. Perfect spot for a quick bite to eat and beverage prior to heading to the the Moda Center. Bonus: Order from the bar and any or all of the food trucks from your phone through their great online ordering system! Very convenient and didn't have to wait in a single line. 😀“

“We had the pulled pork and ribs; with collard greens and cornbread. The ribs were coated perfectly with the right amount of sauce and the meat was juicy and fell off the bone. Pulled pork was also delicious, but the ribs were my favorite. Great collard greens too! Reasonable prices as well for a hearty meal.“
“First off the owner is super sweet and charismatic. Additionally, their food is a beautiful blend between cultures. They are able to blend different textures, tastes, spices so beautifully it’ll leave you wanting more. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.“

“We had J&L cater our 130 person wedding with two choices of Meats and 3 sides. The whole process with them went so smoothly, they delivered our food timely and we received TONS of great reviews on the food. Their catfish was AMAZING and the corn bread and green beans with bacon were a hit. “Father's Day. We had a large group of 12. Three people had already eaten but hadn't shown up. The manager came out and said they have strict policy of everybody having to be there. After they showed up we got seated and I waited for our food and I noticed that nobody else in the entire restaurant had any food either. Are food did finally show up but it wasn't very good. A highly recommend not going to this place.! It's not very good barbecue anyway. And I should know I lived in San Antonio been to the salt lick and all of the barbecue places in Lockhart Texas.“

Congratulations on the second location in Hillsboro. I’ve been going to the Portland location for the past three years, and it’s always been one of my favorites. Family-owned, consistently good, and the owner has always been incredibly kind and welcoming.
It’s exciting to see the expansion, and you can tell there’s a lot of heart behind this business. The food continues to deliver with rich, flavorful broth and quality ingredients that keep me coming back.
Opening a second location is never easy, but I’m confident this one will grow into the same great experience as the original. Wishing the team continued success, and I’ll definitely be back to support!!“

“The food tasted great, but not all of it was hot or moist. The bbq chicken was really dry & cold. The bbq ribs were dry & not fall off the bone. They have two kinds of brisket moist or tender & the tender was dry, but the moist was delicious & tender. The beans were cold & not very good, but the cole slaw was delicious which is hard to find in a restaurant. You can order sandwiches if you want to eat light or a meat salad which some people did & said it was delicious. The French fries were hot & very nasty. A meal with a drink will cost you just over $20 a person, but you will leave full. The picture is my plate of moist brisket, cole slaw, French fries & the piece of bread you get. You pick your meat, two sides & it comes with bread.“

“Wow, this place is great! Ordered the 3 meat tray, which came with the brisket burger (uber eats deal), along with a side of Cole slaw. We chose burnt ends, ribs, and the smoked chicken with beans and Mac & cheese. Literally everything was made perfectly which is hard to say when ordering bbq here in Portland.
Def will be ordering again.“

“I have had BBQ across the United States and this is on the higher end. This is one of places I will go back to. Service is quick, prices are great and you can't beat the food. Only complaint I have is I like a finer chop and a tangy dressing. So I would give Hog Wild a 4 1/2 stars, great job guys.“
