“Missed brunch at the hotel. They sent us to Concordia. The cook was running late so we sat on the sunny stoop and waiting till they arrived. The bartender set us up with a couple morning beverages on the house while we waited. When the cook(s) arrived our order was taken and was brought out quite quickly. The eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly to my likeing and the lite cheese and dairy on the side breakfast burrito came as it was ordered. I took a bite of it and it was tasty.“

“Hands down, best Prime Rib Dip (French Dip)of my life. Could take or leave the mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. But the prime rib dip so far out shadows the mediocrity of the sides that it deserves a 5/5. The huckleberry lemon drop was also exceptional and the vodka tonic fully met my expectations. But the Tuesday special prime rib dip was so good I’ll be back just for that! Service was also exceptionally responsive.

The tater tots were also very,very good.

Atmosphere i give a 4 out of 5
It's very much a neighborhood friendly bar.
Fairly loud, though, but thats a given. It is a bar.

My aunt had the california burger and said she enjoyed it.

The bartender Stormi was totally kickass and down to earth; you could tell that her upbeat personality set the mood and everyone in there was feeling that same way. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and genuinely happy that I actually didn't want to leave... I almost never go to bars but, if you do; I'd definitely recommend trying this one. ??

“Visited 45th St. Bar & Pub recently. The space has a cozy, dimly lit vibe, though it felt a bit tight even with a light crowd. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but once inside, the service was decent and the food was okay—nothing standout, but it did the job. While it may not be my go-to spot, it could be a laid-back hangout for those who enjoy a more low-key bar scene.“

Never really feeling comfortable because most of the employees are busy visiting with regulars and people they know They might offer you something to drink once in a while. Until ERICKA !!! She gives excellent customer service (this 5 star rating is for her) I was in there the other day and she was calling every single person by name. She us wonderful. You are very lucky to have her as an employee. I hope your paying her a decent wage because if not I would snatch her up in a heartbeat . She gives excellent customer service. “Super fun, good music, bartender was nice, but servers were surly, inefficient. After 45 minutes I asked her about my order. She said take a number or something like that. Order never came and when I went to the bar she refunded my payment because the kitchen had closed. So I had nothing to eat. I can't just skip meals so I had to leave. Very poor service. Should take the restaurant sign down as they aren't really- its a dive bar with a greasy kitchen that won't even serve dinner“

“Boss Hawgs is a funky dark bar near/in the Gateway area of Portland. My buddy loves it here. I’m in the 3 to 4 star zone for them. We get the cheesesteaks and they are packed with beef (sirloin, I believe) and onions and peppers if you’d like um. They come with fries which are very good. It’s a lot of food at a good price. The quality is inconsistent and really depends on who is running the kitchen when you go in.

The drinks are priced well and there’s booths, tables and a kinda odd outside area. It’s a touch sketchy here (has a lot to do with this area - being on a major thoroughfare) but it’s worth going to now and then.“

“I feel like I'm family at this bar. Ive met a really amazing bartender who i hope to remain friends with. Its small and has the perfect amount of people. No over crowding and just laid back. They are very protective of their guests that they keep the doors locked for safety purposes. You have to knock and get their attention to be let in.
