“Wonderful neighborhood bar. I’d say dive but the food and environment are elevated from dive status. We have had some of the best meals in Portland here, and some of them are staples of the menu! Great place to relax, have a beer and dinner. Dog friendly patio, a pool!
OH AND BREAKFAST!! Best breakfast joint within walking distance of our house.“

“Yesterday I have the privilege of 'discovering' the Garden Home Dugout. After living in the area for over 40 years, I'd never been there. I may have discovered a new favorite. Great food, great place, amazing menu, our our server, Bailey was simply a delight. LOVED IT and look forward to exploring the menu!“

“Most fabulous inclusive LGBTQ+ bar and grill in PDX. Mostly leans sapphic, but all are welcome. Great food and atmosphere. Lots and lots of events. Something for everyone.“

“Simple American breakfast, yummy coffee refills, and cute inside. I would have purchased more toast and a tea had I been checked on a second time while eating, but was given the bill early instead before I could even say anything. Only checked on once is not enough and you should ask if someone is ready for their check. 05/18/26 at 11am.“

“Best spot around - Gotta give my favorite neighborhood jon 5 stars. Excellent food and excellent beer— they feature Portland breweries. They really care about quality of food, and provide a great bunker for cozying in a little food & drink hole. But it’s also got the boisterous eatery energy with TVs, video lottery, and friendly folks at the bar. Both vibes. Great spot.“

“Found The Buffalo Gap last weekend while attending a bike Show. About a mile from my stay and way better than the Boujie hotel I was at. The Bartenders and Waitresses were all awesome Great service, nice smiles and great food and drink. Thank you all I appreciate you and my new hoodie.“

“I enjoy going there when the bartender with the bangs and glasses is there because she's always very friendly and talks with me as I'm sitting at the bar by myself. She also makes sure to ask me if I'm enjoying myself and the food that I'm eating. However, the last time I was there, there was a male bartender with a mustache and he hardly said two words to me. Lame. I'm so tired of male bartenders that have the personality of a wet towel. If you don't enjoy being in the hospitality industry, find another career.
Also, for the 45 minutes I was there there was absolutely NO music playing. The whole vibe of the bar was completely different, and not for the better.
I really enjoy the food and I usually enjoy the service, but I think I'm going to make sure that I keep walking by on the days when the mustache man is there. Not trying to be sexist, but like I said... So many male bartenders in Portland have absolutely no hospitality or conversational skills. It gets old. I'm a blue collar worker who is also in the industry and I'd really like to have some genuine hospitality when I go out and spend my hard-earned money in local establishments. If I can maintain my hospitable nature after being in the industry for many years, surely YOU CAN TOO! Lol. It isn't that hard to be friendly, hospitable and welcoming. And if it is??? You're probably in the wrong industry.“

“Didn't expect great fish and chips at a Vietnamese bar & grill, but the cod was crispy, hot, and golden — solid value at $14. The beef pho was the real standout: rich broth, tender meatballs, and fresh herbs, a bowl to help you pho get your worries, honestly. Goi Cuon rolls were fresh and simple. Quiet, clean, cozy spot with attentive service. Five stars.“

“I had a great time. The bartender was absolutely amazing. He was very welcoming and happy to fry up some food for me, even though it was pretty late on a Friday night. The place seemed to have a tight-knit community vibe, which was really fun to see and interact with. I'll definitely try to come here more often when I'm in the area!“

“This place is such a gem. I don't drink but the food is amazing. The water spinach beef salad is one of my favorite dishes at any PDX restaurant and the salt & pepper shrimp is so good. They also give me like 3 cherries with my shirley temple, so yeah I just love this place. The vibes are chill, just people eating, watching sports, and hanging out.“

“12 taps beers & cider. Double daily happy hour drop craft beer pint prices to $6 from 4-6pm & 10pm-midnight. AC blows cool in Summer. Heat blows warm in winter. Covered outdoor seating. Well behaved dog friendly on the patio, but not kid friendly (21+). Soccer on the TVs whenever possible. Timbers, Trailblazers, 49ers & Seahawks, & other sportsball on TV. Daily food specials. A great local dive bar. The staff is the best, as are the patrons.“

“Bar food gets a bad rap. Personally, some of my favorite dine-in meals have been at bars. Twilight Room is one of the best. My husband and I recently visited for lunch. I ordered the fish & chips and my husband ordered a burger. The homemade fries were delicious! We came in for lunch on a weekday, so it wasn't crowded. We ate and played pool for a couple of hours. Our bartender was also great. She gave me some drink recommendations and was extremely attentive. In hindsight, I wish that I would have taken some photos to share.“

“Atmosphere inside was inviting, casual, and divey but well cared for. My ideal aesthetic. Perfect local spot. Kind of expected more from the burger, which was the reason I drove across town for, and the fries were both overcooked and soggy, but maybe it was just an off night. Service was wonderful. Rainier tall boy was 🤌🏻“

“Service with a smile, quick meals and locally made. The burger was fresh and juicy, flavorful and fries needed a little salt but by preference. Those mozzarella sticks are killer, so cheesy and thick! Karaoke is a little loud but expected for a small venue. Pool tables in good working order, $0.75-1.00 per game.“

“Best spot, best vibes. But man. The chicken Parmesan sando. Two chicken strips on a hoagie with marinara. For real? Bring back the chicken sando. The normal one. With a whole breast and pickles. For the love of god please. I beg you. I love holmans. This chicken parm will bring shame upon your families if you continue to serve it. Please“

“We had a quick meet up here with some friends in the late afternoon. The place was pretty clean and spacious. We shared some snacks - Clamity Nachos, chicken strips, and curly fries. The food came out fast and everything we had was enjoyable. Our waitress was nice and made sure we were not thirsty. Overall, great and friendly service and would come back again.“

“I just went into this little Bar ? briefly to use the restroom honestly but I was so blown away by the way the people in there were able to make me feel in such a short amount of time that I wanted to leave a review. ??
The bartender Stormi was totally kickass and down to earth; you could tell that her upbeat personality set the mood and everyone in there was feeling that same way. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and genuinely happy that I actually didn't want to leave... I almost never go to bars but, if you do; I'd definitely recommend trying this one. ??
Being friendly and caring really does go a long way and can do more for some people than you may know. ??
Thanks everyone in there today for turning my day around. ?“

“Really good food, good drinks; reasonable prices. The service got slower as it got later (same amount of people) but the server was cool. I paid for a song on the jukebox and could barely hear it; it was notably quieter than the house music. Small parking area.“

“Great pizza! Cheesy pepperoni bread is even better with the Alfredo dipping sauce included. This place is frequented by locals each afternoon and night, making it seem exclusive. But it's easy to strike up a conversation with anyone and feel like an instant regular! Great bartenders and cocktails. Caesar salad is large and delicious. Try it out!“

“I love a bar that makes you feel welcome and has good drinks and good atmosphere. Additionally, they have a couple of pool tables which I love. “I've come in there several times . Never really feeling comfortable because most of the employees are busy visiting with regulars and people they know They might offer you something to drink once in a while. Until ERICKA !!! She gives excellent customer service (this 5 star rating is for her) I was in there the other day and she was calling every single person by name. She us wonderful. You are very lucky to have her as an employee. I hope your paying her a decent wage because if not I would snatch her up in a heartbeat . She gives excellent customer service. I guarantee you that she is what brings alot of your business in. Thank you Erika for making me feel welcome!“
