I can’t even pick a favorite because they are all so good. The Magic flavor name makes complete sense when you take a bite because different flavors seem to magically appear in your mouth (peanut butter being the last to hit…) hard to explain but if you taste it, it will make sense! I got 2 large puddings in my order than bought 2 different small ones in different flavors & i regret not getting the 2 extra cups in large! Driving in Philly stresses me out but I’ve never wanted to drive back over there so bad! For more pudding! I will be recommending this bake shop to everyone! The sandwiches are my favorite part!!! In a town full of hoagies, I love that I found somewhere to get a crispy, chewy focaccia sandwich with something pickled and a fancy cheese on it. I only dock two stars for atmosphere because the lack of outdoor seating is a major bummer at an otherwise perfect spot.“

“Mayflower was a random stop but looked like a great option for a quick snack. We didn’t have to wait long to order and there are lots of options for buns! We got the pork bun and the almond butter bun, which are priced under $5 each. The pork bun was so delicious and stuffed with meat, and was sweet and savory! I could eat 5 more of those and call it a meal. The almond butter bun is very soft and buttery (makes sense) and better as a dessert rather than a snack. Great spot for a quick and tasty bite!“

Our family brought a variety for Easter dessert and they were the best cupcakes I have had in a very long time! Even better…they are PEANUT FREE!!!! This was the first time my son, 18 years old, had a cupcake from an actual bakery! That means the world to this mom!! I think he ate at least three!! “Authentic Chinese bakery. 紙杯蛋糕，cup cakes, were light fluffy and bouncy. So good! Ordered 20 plus of those cup cakes to go! Owners were so friendly. We ordered a lot of their pastries too. “I was in the area and decided to pop by to try a thing or two. Not knowing anyone who had tried them before I stuck to the small, individual sized items…browned butter chocolate chip cookies, morning croissant and some pizza dough. It all comes frozen but I had other places to go so some started defrosting in the car. Here’s my review of each. Cookies - I don’t like ANY chocolate chip cookie that doesn’t have nuts in them. I usually wouldn’t even buy them, I decided to try these because of the browned butter. I had one in the car before I got home and they were AMAZING! I shocked myself at how much I enjoyed them. They were soft without being chewy, a feature I hate in cookies personally, and had nice crispy edges, even after defrosting! The taste, texture and everything about these defied all that I thought was possible with a gf cookie! 10 out of 10 Pizza dough - since it was defrosted by the time I got him I decided to make a couple mini pizzas. I used half the dough, I bag will easily make 4-5 personal sized pizzas. I thought I had rolled it too thin as it started to break apart so I made it a little thicker. It rises while cooking so when I do the rest, I’ll leave it thinner for sure. Because other gf pizzas seem to have such difficulty cooking in the city I was concerned when I saw these rising. But they cooked up beautifully! It was soooo nice having gf pizzas seem that had the taste and texture of traditional crust. I appreciate suppliers for having the option available, and some are better than others…but the Flakely dough is the standard now! I’ll never buy another gf pizza, whether it be a restaurant or a market. 10 out of 10 Morning croissant - I put this right in the freezer so I haven’t tasted it yet. But it looks phenomenal! They described it as a cross between a cinnamon roll and a croissant. You can’t go wrong with that combo as a general thing but given how the cookie and pizza dough has tasted, I have no doubt this will be terrific as well! Run, don’t walk, over to their shop and let’s make sure they’re around for the long haul. Just beware, they might spoil you against some of your existing faves!“

“I have never been to the storefront, but I have gotten various things from them several times at the East Falls and Fairmount farmers markets. Their cheesecake bars are absolutely the best bar of any kind I've ever had, I can't even describe them properly to do them justice, but it's insane to me that so few reviewers mentioned them (must be because their sandwiches are THAT good--I will have to go to the shop to try one apparently!). Their focaccia bread is also the fluffiest, spongiest, freshest bread I've tasted, and can easily be eaten plain by itself. Their chocolate cake is perfect--rich chocolate flavor and not too sweet. So I wholeheartedly recommend trying pretty anything they make!“

Since then, I myself have sent them to so many family and friends. Here are my top reasons for loving this company: 1. Their chocolate chip cookies are seriously so amazing! (and I am very particular about my chocolate chip cookies), 2. Their service is amazing! They respond to emails and phone messages really quickly and do what they can to help, 3. “So I was looking for a bakery outside of Walmart where I could get a Heart shaped cake. I came across this on Google and was so excited to order and it did not disappoint. I needed the cake for Sunday and they were able to accommodate me when I reached out two days before. The theme for my birthday with Pink and Black, and they executed the cake perfectly. And as much as it looked good, it tasted even better. All my cakes moving forward will be from here.“

She went over and beyond to customize our order for some guests who have dietary restrictions and baked everything perfectly-timed so that it was warm and fresh for our arrival. I went for my first time and the owner Steve could tell I was into bread and pizza and history and stuff and invited me back to check out how he bakes everything and showed me all the old machines, the mixer, the dough separator.
