“The service was phenomenal. The food, delicious. Best italian restaurant in Philly, the closest thing I've seen so far to an authentic italian restaurant in Philly (I stayed in Italy for 6 weeks). We got the tiramisu and gelato, and we got the carbonara and pappardelle al ragù. All of it was just so good. I wanna come back again, but I need to save up for it because it was very pricey. But worth it.“

“Ok so the cheesesteak is definitely than all other pizza shops. It’s about 11” meat is very juicy and flavorful with lots of melted creamy cheese and the onions were caramelized perfectly. I would absolutely give that steak sandwich a 20 out of 10“

“I enjoyed dining at Her Place, I definitely felt like I was having a meal in someone's home. The restaurant is tiny and every table has a view of the kitchen. I dined by myself so I was placed at one of the two window seats. My back was toward the kitchen and I had to turn around each time the chef was describing the dishes. The menu wasn't something I would have normally chosen for myself, it was very seafood focused but it was all around tasty. The main dish was a quail and morels. My favorites of the night were the chicken liver pate with radishes and homemade Ritz cracker. They really did taste like a Ritz but much elevated. My other favorite of the night was the dessert: the rhubarb, cream cheese semi freddo, and meringue was to absolutely die for. You could really taste the cream cheese. Also notable was the sauce Americaine in the quenelle/lobster dish, I wanted to scoop it up and lick the plate. I see people complaining how it wasn't enough food since you had to share, I didn't have this problem, as I was solo and was able to eat full plates of everything. I enjoyed the final touches at the end, giving out cookies and a bag of Chex Mix. Bravo. I'd maybe come back if I were to travel to Philadelphia again. $120 after tax and tip.“

“My girlfriend and I decided to come in for happy hour and I’m so happy we did! The food and cocktails were delicious but we were really blown away by the service. Our server, KB, was incredible. She was on top of everything, knowledgeable, personable, and gave great recommendations. We can’t wait to come back!“

“Hadn't been in years but glad to have returned. Started with house white wine and a cocktail for hubby. Shared their Caesar salad, then we each had a pasta entre: ravioli with butternut squash and linguin with clams. Also shared a mushrooms side and foccacia. All the food was delicious! Ended with sharing a cannoli and a cappuccino. Overall great experience in a romantic setting (2-person booths in the lower level) with an our wonderful server Rachel.“

“Cozy restaurant with a lot of energy. Hold off on eating the complementary bread because you'll need it for the outstanding mussel appetizer. Another must order is the orecchiette. One of the best pastas I've had in Philadelphia. The lamb shank was just ok. Unfortunately I just recently had it at another Philly restaurant and it was so much better. Barramundi which was a special was a huge disappointment. I've never seen so many things added to a fish dish to overwhelm what I consider to be an amazing fish. This is my second time at this restaurant where the entrees feel short. Stick to the appetizers and pastas. Service was outstanding.“

“I was here in Philadelphia for work and I wanted to find a nice little Italian restaurant and I was NOT disappointed with Little Nonna's. First, they accommodated my friends wife and her wheelchair even though the restaurant is small. And the sign outside said they have the world's best garlic bread and you know what? THEY ARE RIGHT! Comes with fresh roasted garlic! Every dish was delicious, thoughtfully plated and absolutely perfect. We took Cannoli to go and I enjoyed it back at my hotel. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!“

Shout out to Nicky for being very responsive, and enjoyable to talk too. Perfect for a special occasion or just to have great food. By far one of the top Italian restaurants in Philly!“

“Great food and superb service. Server (Victoria) was exceptional and made our wedding anniversary dinner special. Ended up staying until close and had beautiful conversation with Victoria and owner, wasn't rushed out at all. Ordered the Arancini, Valona Signature salad, Gnocchi Pomodoro Mozz, and lamp chops. 5 layer cake was incredible, tasty and light. Everything was delish! Have seen a few negative reviews but highly recommend you put those aside and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.“

“The service was excellent. The food was also good, we enjoyed the tasting menu which had some surprising dishes such as the carrot & egg custard. The bread and nduja was also a nice addition. However, we spent over $800 between the two of us with tips included (with the tasting menu priced at $215) which I think is way too overpriced. The wines especially are overpriced, for 150pp I would expect more upscale wines than what was on offered. We ended up going with a Barolo instead which was more reasonable but still $170 for a bottle. For these prices, I would expect Michelin 1 or 2 star quality food, which it wasn't (as nice as our meal was). That said, the service was really good with our waiter being extremely attentive and considerate.“

“My boyfriend and I came early on a Sunday evening hoping to get the sweet potato gnocchi special advertised for the weekend but they were all out. The Brussel sprouts and smoky rigatoni were very good. We also had the sweet potato soup which wasn't as flavorful as we had hoped.“

“Came here Valentine's Day weekend and it was packed! Luckily we had a reservation and this place is the perfect cute date spot. The interior and ambiance is amazing! We had a drink at the bar and then headed to dinner. The food was good especially the pizza but I think the drinks stood out - they were strong and flavorful.“

“The food is delicious at Via Locusta. I'd particularly recommend the agnolotti, which changes seasonally. Service is also good. My only complaint is that I really wish they'd add some sound panels on the ceiling inside to quiet the dining room down. It gets so loud that you can't hear the people across from you. We've generally had better meals outside than in the dining room for that reason.“

“As a wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing a wedding at Osteria, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The venue's unique location, impeccable food, and outstanding service make it perfect for an intimate wedding. The guests couldn't stop raving about the food and drinks, which were a huge step above the standard wedding fare. Located in an area of the city close to photo ops, Osteria is gorgeous, especially at night. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an amazing time, and the dance floor was going off like crazy all night! If you're looking for a unique setting for your wedding, look no further than Osteria.“

“We were twenty minutes late due to traffic but the host was more than accommodating. Our server Robert brought a lot of energy and knowledge to our choices. “What an AMAZING and DELIGHTFUL shop!! The sandwiches were literally to die for! I got the Knucklehead on a Sesame Roll toasted and jt was SO good!!!! I went with my boyfriend! They played soft Sinatra music and the vibe was totally chill. The Host was funny and laid back and the food was impeccable! We didn’t even notice but the Owner was at a table in the shop and was so friendly! I literally felt like a welcomed guest in his home! He gave us free drinks on the house and gave us pointers on how to get to the concert venue we were going to!! Such great service! Adorable place to eat! “I started my experience at the valley parking gentleman in charge, he was friendly, kind and patient. I walked in and it seems that the excellence in customer service is their currency in this restaurant. “Picture the quintessential neighborhood corner sandwich shop of your dreams - this is it. This is the spot. Found it today and knew at first menu glance it’d be dope. The daily specials (kielbasa & egg sandwich, and Italian melt) were great and already thinking about the next ones I want to try (ex. The Bobby). Slaw, pickle, and Vietnamese iced coffee were great too!The place was happily busy on a sunny Saturday afternoon - line inside but I ordered ahead online since I was walking my dog, and their service was great — I literally stepped inside and within 2 seconds someone came out to greet me, I said I placed order, they said my name and handed me my bag and coffee.I don’t know what we the people of Francisville did to deserve Sandwich Corner Market, but my heart is full (and stomach)(Can you guys maybe make like, a little sandwich sample flight? Like 3 little sliders somehow? I want to try so many at once but can’t be slamming like 3 sandwiches and foresee myself stressing in the future over which 1 sandwich to pick per order)“

“This is a fabulous local restaurant and if I lived in the neighborhood I would be there at least twice a month. I was hosting some out-of-town visitors and we enjoyed between the three of us, two plates of pasta and a caprese salad and it was more than enough food and we also enjoyed our red and white BYOB wines. Afterwards we went down a block Dirty Frank's on the corner of 13th and Pine for a nightcap which completed a full circle Philadelphia experience.“

“Fiorella is an excellent restaurant. The quality of the food, ambiance, and service lives up to the hype. My only BUT is a reflection on portion sizes, which vary greatly by dish. The ragú could feed a small village. It is a literal cauldron of pasta. The cacio é pepé is also a generous portion. Even the gnocchi, while a smaller dish overall, are jumbo sized and likely filling. Some of the other dishes and specials however are just as pricey but much less substantial. If you are dining as a group, this is not an issue. You can share smaller plates and fill up on ragú. As a solo diner, I wish I was advised in advance as my dish was impeccably prepared, but I left needing more. At least I was in South Philly so I could grab a slice on my way home.“

“Great intimate restaurant. Service was very attentive and friendly. Food was superior. Fried gnocchi were light as pillows and very tasty. Veal saltimbocca you could cut with a fork (always my test if the veal is tender enough). Capellini scampi light not heavy, tasty with plenty of lump crab and shrimp. Tiramisu was a nice dinner finish.“

“LOVED IT HERE! Truly authentic Italian cooking, with authentic ingredients to purchase. The staff was so friendly and accomodating on their menu. We had to make a slight change in order for a vegetarian, and they had no issues. We tried their breakfast sandwiches & lunch sandwiches, and each bite was jam packed with substance & flavor (I mean, just look at the layers in my photo.) Fresh ingredients, and an overall quaint/bright spot. This would be an awesome place to post up and get some work done, do some people watching, and enjoy delicious food. Not to mention, their baked goods looked out of this world. We wanted to get so much, but I landed on their passion fruit donut, partly because it was the last one left (so I figured something must be good!) And let me tell you, their dough is different. The donut was dense & fluffy at the same time, and their passion fruit flavor was y-u-m-m-y. I can't wait to go back to try more sandwiches and get some grocery shopping done!“

“OMG!!! A friend of mine highly recommended this restaurant to me to try out. I am so happy that she did. I have eaten here two times since, and each time was an AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! Let's start with the great service from their wait staff. Izzy, Gabriel, and Sarah were my main wait staff, BUT all the wait staff help each other. So if Izzy, Gabriel, or Sarah are busy taking care of other customers, their co-workers just jump right in and take care of your questions and/or needs quickly. And the FOOD IS SO AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! ? ? I LOVE LOVE LOVE their freshly made Garlic Knots that you get when you sit down. I also love their Mussels in white wine and garlic and their Meat Lasagna, Chicken Piccatta with capers, mushrooms in a very Yummy White Wine Lemon Sauce; and the portion size is definitely worth every penny - it's Huge - you will leave with a meal's worth for the next day (see picture). And I love their Tiramisu for dessert, too. They have a Great Menu with Many, Many More Choices of different Yummy foods, on top of their Pasta dishes such as the Pizzas, Stromboli and Cheese Steaks, etc. Plus, the restaurant is kept very Clean, it's very family friendly and it's just cozy. All their Customers, including myself, enjoy their food and time at Graeme Park Pizza & Cafe located in Horsham, Pennsylvania. It is another Hidden Gem that I am so happy to have found.YOU must come and try it out for yourself. You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.“

“The best pizza within 35 minutes of my residence! Great sauce, wonderful cheese, tasty crust. My only complaint is the thickness of the crust, it's too doughy/thick especially at the ends. Next time I order, I'm going to see if they can use medium size dough and stretch to a large pie.“

“I’ve heard about Fiorino for so long, especially from someone who lives in Florida! I finally went and it was all they said it would be! Absolutely delicious! “You know this place is popular when there are people waiting outside the door at 9am right before this place opens. It was my first time here and upon arriving, 2 people were waiting to get in and 3 more trickled in minutes later. A line started to form and people are trying to get the tomato pie. I place an order for the regular tomato pie a few days ago over the phone but when I went to pick it up they didn't have my name. Luckily they had extras so I didn't have to order another. My friends really enjoyed the tomato pie so it's definitely as good as people say. Just be sure to double check the day before if you placed an order with them.“

“Did the Porchetta dinner which you have to reserve ahead of time. It is a great value and lets you try a bit of everything. The Porchetta is served with tortilla like piadina which allows you to make the most wondrous little bites. Though called pork belly porchetta, this isn't some sort of unrendered fat glob that lesser restaurants sometimes serves. This is more like lightly cooked bacon that just slaps. If you have any self-control, try bringing some home for a crisped up porchetta and eggs breakfast.“

“Have been here in Roxborough 2 years but never really saw the place until I found it on Google maps. It's a little unassuming on the outside but is really nice on the inside. Had the stuffed french toast and crab portobello benedict. Will be back to try lunch and dinner, as well!Prices were good. The food is well portioned. You won't leave hungry.Service is great too. Multiple people checked on us. They check on you consistently for water and coffee. It was busy but we didn't have to wait too long to sit. “Dinner, Saturday night. Begin with saying I think this is an excellent, authentic, under the radar classic Italian restaurant with a menu of the standard, classic dishes one would want without any unfamiliar or experimental flourishes. I had pasta puttanesca and honestly feel it's the best puttanesca I've ever had -- large caper berries, anchovies you couldn't see but definitely taste, rich tomato sauce -- really good. Wife had the veal milanese and, again, cooked to perfection, not breaded too heavily, fresh arugula. Calamari appetizer not overbreaded, nor overfried, nice mildly spicy sauce. The bread they serve with the meal -- an important, often overlooked item -- was high quality with thick crust, served with quality olive oil and canellini beans. The one miss of the entire meal was an appetizer they're supposedly known for -- Artichokes Core de Roma. Unfortunately, we found this tasteless. Literally without taste. With that one exception, we found everything about this restaurant high quality and will return.“

“We ate here while staying at the Mint for a birthday. We had a good time and the food was good but felt that it was a little over priced (i.e. $42 for an eggplant parm dish and over $100/person without alcohol). Staff was friendly but felt maybe a little under experienced/trained. Timing between courses was a little off (very long between one and then others right away). Cleanliness was perfect but noticed a lot of chipped dishes. Atmosphere was cozy with very comfortable seats. Overall we're glad we experienced it, would recommend to others but may/may not return.“
