“Crumbl have some good cookies, I love the variety of options for their flavors weekly! This is my 3rd time having crumbl and Everytime there were a few I loved and a few I didn't but that's okay. Overall I recommend buying, even if it's a little pricey.“

“I’m obsessed! Found this bakery on too good to go & took a ride over (from jersey) I came home with 4 different flavors of the banana pudding & my 16 year old and I tried each one. I can’t even pick a favorite because they are all so good. The Magic flavor name makes complete sense when you take a bite because different flavors seem to magically appear in your mouth (peanut butter being the last to hit…) hard to explain but if you taste it, it will make sense! I got 2 large puddings in my order than bought 2 different small ones in different flavors & i regret not getting the 2 extra cups in large! Driving in Philly stresses me out but I’ve never wanted to drive back over there so bad! For more pudding! I will be recommending this bake shop to everyone! The guy behind the counter was super nice & welcoming and helped me pick out some favorites. It’s a nice Friendly shop with amazing puddings & I will definitely be back!“

“Different Philly bakeries make my top list for different reasons. If you want sourdough this is THE place to get it (rosemary peppercorn is my fave). Morning buns are great too. The rest--croissants, danishes and most savory options are ok but nothing special. The staff are super friendly. The cafe can get very crowded at times, and I think there are better options for breakfast in the general area.“

“Love Majdal! Everything I have had from them is phenomenal! However, some of their customers really need to be more courteous and mindful of other patrons. They are super popular and have lines out of the door most of the time. Today when I went was no different, but two women were sitting at the window table - clearly done with the food and just chitchatting! This is not a starbucks for gods sake, if you are done with the food, just move on to a garden or something for your gossip sesh and let other paying customers sit. There needs to be a sign saying no lingering or please be mindful of other patrons and keep moving. Taking off 1 star on how they manage the customer seating.“

“I've been buying from Isgros since 1975. Anyone who writes a bad review of this beloved bakery is likely to think the Grand Canyon is merely a hole in the ground. Don't believe any of their drivel. Maybe.....maybe!....they caught a bad batch of goods....but its highly unlikely. Everything sells out! How can stuff be stale? Impossible!! Everything they produce is simply sensational. I've never heard of any complaints from anybody who I know to be a regular customer. Pricing? Is that even worth mentioning? Does anyone gripe about the price of a Mercedes? “Levain Bakery never disappoints! The mini ice cream sandwich is absolutely delicious, the perfect combo of a chewy cookie and creamy ice cream. The Chocolate Chip Brioche is also incredible, so soft and buttery. Their drinks are always amazing too, and the workers here are so nice every single time. Highly recommend!“

“Bonnie has absolutely the BEST bagels in Philly (and among the top I've ever had). You can smell and taste the sesame, and zaatar is my favorite. Croissants are also superb. Other things are perhaps not as divine, but many savory (hand pies, savory spicy scones) and sweet (cinnamon buns) offerings are quite good.“

“I was in the area and decided to pop by to try a thing or two. Not knowing anyone who had tried them before I stuck to the small, individual sized items…browned butter chocolate chip cookies, morning croissant and some pizza dough. It all comes frozen but I had other places to go so some started defrosting in the car. Here’s my review of each. Cookies - I don’t like ANY chocolate chip cookie that doesn’t have nuts in them. I usually wouldn’t even buy them, I decided to try these because of the browned butter. I had one in the car before I got home and they were AMAZING! I shocked myself at how much I enjoyed them. They were soft without being chewy, a feature I hate in cookies personally, and had nice crispy edges, even after defrosting! The taste, texture and everything about these defied all that I thought was possible with a gf cookie! 10 out of 10 Pizza dough - since it was defrosted by the time I got him I decided to make a couple mini pizzas. I used half the dough, I bag will easily make 4-5 personal sized pizzas. I thought I had rolled it too thin as it started to break apart so I made it a little thicker. It rises while cooking so when I do the rest, I’ll leave it thinner for sure. Because other gf pizzas seem to have such difficulty cooking in the city I was concerned when I saw these rising. But they cooked up beautifully! It was soooo nice having gf pizzas seem that had the taste and texture of traditional crust. I appreciate suppliers for having the option available, and some are better than others…but the Flakely dough is the standard now! I’ll never buy another gf pizza, whether it be a restaurant or a market. 10 out of 10 Morning croissant - I put this right in the freezer so I haven’t tasted it yet. But it looks phenomenal! They described it as a cross between a cinnamon roll and a croissant. You can’t go wrong with that combo as a general thing but given how the cookie and pizza dough has tasted, I have no doubt this will be terrific as well! Run, don’t walk, over to their shop and let’s make sure they’re around for the long haul. Just beware, they might spoil you against some of your existing faves!“

Since then, I myself have sent them to so many family and friends. Here are my top reasons for loving this company: 1. Their chocolate chip cookies are seriously so amazing! Nothing like home like a couple Tomato Pies and the first is usually gone by the time I get to Reading. “One of the best vegan bakeries I've ever been to! The Earl Grey cake was delicious, as were the other desserts we got. And the savory pastries were so yummy. I also got the best chai I think I've ever had. It's low-key a PROBLEM that I only live ten minutes away from this place!“
