“We visited Honey Bird back in June. The chicken was outstanding so moist and flavorful. The drinks also did not disappoint, the ingredients blend together so well and zero hang over headache. My 6 year had yummy Mac & cheese with fries.“

“Just moved to the area and tried Stevie D’s for the first time. The food tasted amazing! We had a Portuguese burger with sweet potato fries and the chili cheese fries (with homemade chili). Nice beer selection - we had the Stevie D’s IPA and a peanut butter porter. We sat at a table but most folks were sitting around the bar and seemed to know each other. There was a live band in the back and a small outdoor space for people to stand and chat out front. Our waitress was super friendly and the whole vibe was chill. We’ll definitely be back!!“

“I had what I believe was called the Korean fried Chicken Sandwich and my wife had grilled salmon on a salad. Both were to die for. The chicken was moist and the flavor fantastic without being overpowering. My wife's salmon was among the best we have ever had and we eat salmon often. Expertly seared on the outside while cooked to perfection on the inside. We started our meals with cocktails, which were both excellent and generous pours. My order came with sweet potato fries which were as good as advertised. Our wait staff were very friendly and helpful as this was our first visit to this restaurant but certainly not our last.“

“Been coming here since their initial location in Greenville. Went to their new location and loved it. Definitely smaller, but loved the intimate setting. Especially when guests embrace the concept. It’s like you’re all experiencing dining together prompting conversation with strangers gathering for the common love of food. Love everything about this new place. “Fine dining done right! I can tell how much attention was put into everything we ate. We went w 2 charcuterie meats as an app and I went w the monkfish as a main course. While not an immense amount of food, it was perfect as I’d eaten a couple hours earlier. Regardless, it was delicious- the best part may have been the veggies!

Half chicken and sea bass were also delicious. I haven’t even mentioned service and vibes, which were great.“

“TRAFFORDS TESTIMONIAL Perhaps once in a lifetime you find someplace really special for you and your spouse. Seven years ago we went to Trafford’s for the first time. What we remember about it was how it made us feel. Both of us work hard in our professions and to go out to dinner and find wonderful food, excellent and attentive wait staff, and relaxed environment simply made our day. We then came every month at least once mostly twice to enjoy the excellence and serenity at Trafford. Sadly we lost this when the fire occurred for several years. Then absolute joy when Trafford’s reopened and we found the same wonderful food, wonderful staff in a simply beautiful rebuilt building. The joy we felt and the absolute calm and serenity is all back for us. Recently we celebrated my 76th birthday at Trafford with my entire family. It was amazingly special for me and we had our special event upstairs with the entire place devoted to us . Chrissy our server did an awe inspiring service for us making it perhaps one of the most special birthdays I have ever had I have attached a picture of this special moment. I work in the computer software business doing quality assurance 10 hours every day. Being able to calm down and relax completely at Trafford’s is simply a joy for us. “We found ourselves continuously returning to this restaurant during our trip in DR. Nothing seemed to compare! Our waitress, Ebony, was a sweetheart and consistently greeted us with a warm smile. The empanadas were incredible! The Pina Colada is really good here too. Highly recommend.“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“This is probably the best place I have ever eaten. The food is magical and makes you wanting more. Ive been telling everyone about this place. The menu is diverse with something for everyone. This has been my new restaurant to take people to impress them. I’ve brought my whole family here. They were extremely impressed and they are a tough crowd to please….trust me. I’ve also had my whole office go out here one night and they were blown away. My friends from out of town told me that next time they come this is the first place we are going. That’s how blown away they were by the food. I can keep going on about how great this place is. Basically if you have not tried it yet run. This is by far the best new restaurant in Providence“

“Last night, we walked towards The Aviary's entrance surrounded by beautiful flowers and lots of hydrangeas. Magical. The restaurant itself did not disappoint as it too was absolutely lovely. The wait staff was superb. Nice and efficient and they got every order perfectly. We were delighted. However, the food left a bad taste for sure. We were served room temperature brussel sprouts that were not cooked! Calamari was overcooked and rubbery. Pasta dish was floating in oil!! Total disappointment. Sadly, this beautiful restaurant has not earned our repeat business.“

“My husband and I went for the first time on Saturday and sat at the bar. We ordered apps and cocktails and of course oysters. Best oysters in RI by far believe it or not. Drinks were ok but food fabulous! Would have given 5 stars if not for the bartender. She focused solely on my husband the entire time even gave him a free drink. It was very obvious and blatant disrespect to me. My husband even commented on feeling uncomfortable. As a former bartender the general rule is to pay more attention to the wife than the husband out of respect but also because most often the wife is writing the tip. We will for sure be going back but will sit at a table and maybe only order sparkling water.“
