“Went here as part of the RI Food Fights and I was blown away. The slice of cheese pizza I received was massive, had a great crisp to the dough, and had a nice sweet sauce. Everything about the slice was exactly what I like. Spoke with the owner about some of their other products and ended up getting an order of hand rolled grape leaves. They tasted great and I will absolutely be back here to try more of their menu.”

“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.”

“I just tried the food for the first time. I had a classic Greek pita (with chicken) and a steak skewer as a side order. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The establishment itself was very clean. This place will definitely be my go-to for Greek food. It’s a great addition to the neighborhood.”

The only thing was when it costs $13 for a glass of wine, I'd like a good pour. The pours were a bit small. Service was excellent. Pricey but expected this, would definitely go back.”

“I held a rehearsal dinner at Maria’s and I cannot say enough how great it was to plan with the help of Chris Spertini. He made the whole evening a success by guiding me with food choices and seating arrangement. Our server was excellent. She was extremely attentive to our guests. This will be my go-to restaurant. If you have not dined at Maria’s you are missing out.”

“We had the most amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was top notch and the service was above and beyond. First time here and went in on a whim. Things happen for a reason! Ambience was beautiful, food deliscious and service perfect. We started out with the martini ceviche, and my taste buds were celebrating. Flavorful and spicy with a nice lemony after taste. My 12 year old loved it as well, our first time having ceviche. Sangria was sweet, and the salmon dish we had was perfectly cooked, portions were generous. Our waitress Arilys was friendly, and knowledgeable about the dishes and the restaurant. We will be back!”

“We went to the Newport location. Everything was quality & delicious. The frozen key lime drink was so refreshing. The vibes were great. The bartender was very friendly and anticipated our needs. Definitely a favorite new spot!!”

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though”

“Great atmosphere! And Christine our server was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. She checked on us consistently- thanks! I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! Daughter ordered the Pink Vodka - also really flavorful with interesting noodles I had not had before. Thank you for a great experience- we shall be back! Thanks Chef Max!”

“Been patronizing Angelo's for years (years & years) - it's my 'Go To' place in Providence for Italian. There are plenty of good Italian Restaurants but Angelo's treats you like family . My favorte server is Thera - always smiling - always friendly - and always flying around the resturant making sure everyone is happy. My recommendation - ask for her :-)”

“The selection of games was perfect. All the exact games I would have picked to represent each genre. The was ridiculously cheap. every machine was in near perfect condition. We went specifically for pinball and couldn't believe every function worked exactly as intended. We ended up playing all the arcade games too because the nostalgia kicked in. we felt like little kids again.”

Usually I dread going through the drive thru because they’re usually rude at Mc’s( not this one though). This young lady was polite, took my order, offered me other suggestions and told me what to do to make it a meal. In addition to this, she never once asked me, is that all, is that all, is that all, or anything else, anything else, anything else! She spoke clearly and had patience. Every experience at this Mc’s have been great thus far! She went above and beyond to make my experience a great one!

However they really outdid themselves with, what I would call, the new “it” dinner option- the birrio burger. Every bite has flavor & every bite melts in your mouth. I hope this becomes a weekly special due to its uniqueness. My “pear-suasion” drink complimented it perfectly. As always the staff there is top notch. Definitely make a reservation for an epic experience. PS please change up your dessert menu. We need some new creations.”

The Dubai chocolate with strawberries was great, and the oreo cookie cake was also so good. “We stumbled across this place tonight without realizing it was entirely Vegan. We're not Vegan ourselves, but our daughter is, so we eat a lot of Vegan cuisine. I ordered a zucchini "steak" dish that sounded unique, and my hubby got the country "chicken." Both were extraordinary - the best meal either of us has had since we moved to RI (and we've had some great meals). The food was honestly bursting with flavor, and the quantity was just right. The service was perfect, too, attentive without being intrusive. We debated getting dessert, since the dinner flavor left such a satisfying taste behind, but we couldn't resist the gluten-free chocolate brownie. It came with raspberries on top and a trickle of raspberry sauce, in a combination that was again perfect - crispy edges, a gooey center, sweet and rich but not too much so, with the raspberry flavor offsetting the chocolate in a way I've never tasted in my entire not-particularly-young life. It was so, so good, and to my surprise, it blended well with the dinner flavors. I've been sitting here all evening enjoying the last remnants of the taste, reluctant to go brush my teeth, and I thought I should take a moment to leave a review on the various sites. We will absolutely be return customers, and we can't recommend this restaurant enough!”

Don't miss the creme brûlée -- it was, quite simply, perfect. The owner, Bob Burke, personally welcomed us to the restaurant and talked with us at our table later -- a level of hospitality I find rare in 2025! We can't wait to return!”

“Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.”

It was a very special birthday for me from when we arrived till we left 3 hours later and was absolutely my favorite dining experience ever! The highlight, of course, was the steak—perfectly cooked to order, with a beautiful sear on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness inside and so much flavor. The selection of cuts was impressive, and the quality of the meat was top-tier. “Had lunch today at Terra Nossa Brazilian Grill at the Cape Cod Mall. I had the Terra Nossa classic burger and it was phenomenal. The sausage was a perfect flavor combo with the burger, and both patties were tender enough that you didn’t get anything pulling out of the burger when you bit into it. Caramelized onions and the crunchy potato sticks complimented the burger sauce and added a nice crunch to the burger. Then there’s the cheese. Melty gooey awesomeness right in the middle of everything. This is an absolute must get at the food court and I am so glad I saw this picture from across the room.”
