The service is consistently friendly and genuinely fantastic, adding to the relaxed, neighborhood feel that visitors love. If you’re able, Connie and I strongly recommend finding a seat at the bar and ordering from there. It’s the best way to settle in and soak in the experience and enjoy the hospitality up close.

The carne molina taco is, without question, the best taco I’ve had anywhere—rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The soups are equally impressive, slow-simmered and packed with comforting depth, and the black beans are outstanding, the kind of side dish you’ll keep thinking about long after the meal. Nothing here feels like an afterthought.“

“So delicious. We’re from out of state and we’re looking for a dinner away from the center of Nashville, that wasn’t a chain. We literally saw it on Google maps right before we passed it and decided to stop. SO glad we did. I’ve been missing the good pupusas I used to get in NW Arkansas, and was so happy when I saw them on the menu. “Our first time here. Chips aren’t our favorite but, with the exception of another place, most chips are okay. We like them hot and salty. The restaurant was very clean, not dark and drab at all ~ really nice decor. We really appreciated being able hear each other, too. Bright enough but not sterile which we really liked. Guacamole was very good. Ordered birria tacos ~ shredded beef was lean (hallelujah!) but shells could be crispier, which I’ll request next time. Also ordered chile colorado, and chile flavor was yummy! Our server was wonderful, and we’ll definitely be back!

I stopped by San Luis Taqueria in Nashville on a whim for a late afternoon lunch, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. “I wanted to share a review as I was in attendance for the last review shared where Las Palmas received a very negative 1 star review. I want to let the people know do not take that review seriously. These individuals were disrespectful and cause a scene for the patrons and workers. The Manager was professional and handled the situation to the best of his ability. Makes you scratch your head people are out to try and ruin a reputation, especially with what this city has been through the last few days. Thank you Las Palmas for having your doors open and being welcoming to folks during this time. “Wow! One of the best al pastor tacos I've had in my life and I've had hundreds. Top 5 probably. Definitely the best in Nashville so far. Asada and barbacoa were also standouts. Carnitas were good also, but the others were on another level. Great portion sizes for $3 tacos, and I appreciated the gratis chips and salsa and pickled carrots (zanahorias en escabeche) and radishes. Support your local businesses!“
