“Every dish was cooked to perfection.
It’s on the pricier side, even more expensive than most sushi omakases in Dallas, but the experience was beyond our expectations. I’m currently pregnant, and they were able to switch out the raw dishes for me to cooked alternatives with prior notice when I made the reservation. Chef Otaka steamed the uni in the dishes that he used uni, and he cooked my yakitori skewers a little longer. We really appreciate the attention to detail.
The Korean couple next to us told Chef Otaka they went to Japan recently and got a reservation at a highly sought after yakitori restaurant there, but they thought Mābo’s yakitori was better. Every bite they took, they would say how delicious it was in Korean.
What’s unfortunate, though, is that the 8:30 PM seating was only half full, which was surprising given that the restaurant accommodates just eight guests. Maybe Dallas isn’t ready for yakitori omakase yet, but we felt like we were in Japan. We loved it!“

“Love this place. Great service, amazing, perfect sushi. Only problem? They don’t take reservations. We went only to be turned away. No sushi for us!“

“We ordered here through DoorDash and the delivery was fast! The food was delicious! Being from Abilene, we don’t have any outstanding Sushi places, and this place Hibiki Sushi was delicious!!! We got a mixture of 5 specialty rolls. The Burning your stomach and the Threesome Special were two of my favorites. We also got the Franky & Boom Boom Nipple Roll both delicious. Literally every one of the rolls were heavenly! I didn’t realize how big the rolls were though! The Japanese egg roll wonderful as well!!“

“We visited for the 15-course omakase, which was offered at 50% off. The chef was friendly and shared interesting details about each roll, which we really appreciated. Some of the dishes were excellent, while others were a bit too salty for our taste. The venue is beautifully decorated and located inside the hotel, adding to the overall ambiance.“

“Went here for dinner after getting engaged. Staff were super nice. The ambiance is nice and there's a small bar section if you're waiting and then thr actual sushi bar. There's 2-3 booth tables, regular, and high tables for seating. No patio. A small menu but delivers on flavor and fresh sushi. Also love having the tic-tac-toe while waiting in between orders.“

“This place is a standout! The wagyu roll was rich and packed with flavor — an absolute must-try. The avocado roll was perfect, with creamy avocado and lobster mix created just the right texture. Every dish was fresh and beautifully plated. Service was friendly and attentive, and the vibe was relaxed yet refined. Can't wait to come back!“

“The sushi was fantastic: tornado roll, sunshine roll, and Maji fire. Wonderful combination of flavors and textures. We asked for extra ginger and got a ton. The owner, chefs, and servers were wonderful. The owner and head chef gave us two complimentary seared salmon 🍣 nigiri, So delicious. We are from ft worth but we’ll be back for sure. Loved it.“

“I've been a frequent customer of Moriya Shokudo since I moved to the area around a year ago, and I always have amazing food and have the best experience here. They've really nailed down a cozy Japanese comfort food stop and I always think of here first when I want to sit down and have a delicious meal that brings my spirits up“

“Absolutely incredible omakase experience! Yujo is a hidden gem in Dallas offering beautifully crafted sushi with high-quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation. Every course in the omakase was unique and well-balanced — you can really tell the chefs put a lot of care into their work.
The atmosphere is intimate and elegant without being stuffy, and the staff was warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole evening feel special. If you're looking for an upscale sushi night that doesn't feel overly pretentious, this is it.
Highly recommend for date nights, celebrations, or anyone who appreciates great sushi. I’ll definitely be back!“

“First time here. Ordered takeout due to pandemic. Came on a Friday evening around 7:30pm. Ordered 4 rolls: rainbow roll, dragon roll, Greenville roll, & spicy tuna kiss roll. Presentation is nice. Fish quality is smooth, creamy, and does not have a frozen multiple times texture. Flavor is nice. Roll pieces are actually bite sized and -just- fit in your mouth. (I have a small mouth, so they may fit better in an average person’s mouth). Kind of disappointed with the minuscule amount of wasabi & ginger that came with each dish, but wasabi taste fresh & has adequate spice. Pickled ginger is quite sweet. Overall, everything was good. I’d recommend & I’d come back.“

“Service and food were good. It was a little bit pricier than I expected. I might come back again and try something else on the menu! I loved that the spice level was true spicy! I didn't have to request extra spice.
Parking: Big lot, neighboring businesses close early.“

“I ordered the dragon roll with edemas and miso soup and my husband ordered the Las Vegas Roll and they took out the crab. (which is good bc my husband is allergic) the place is small but very cozy! The staff are very nice and polite. 10/10 recommended :3“

“I had the omakase. and was disappointed with the fact there was a heavily fried dish of shrimp and corn that came out mid point of the experience. The sashimi was pretty good but, not too much thought was put into it. Other than the two kind of misteps my overall experience was amazing! the staff was helpful and the flavors were fun! I highly recommend the sesame mousse for dessert and the sea bass melted in your mouth and the soba noodles with the various dipping sauces were to die for ♡“
