“1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.”

Other dishes we had were the Tea Smoked Duck, Argentinian Style Tenderloin, Adobo Snapper, and NIGERIAN SUYA SKEWERS. We were a party of 9 so I know I’m missing some dishes, but let’s just say everyone was raving about how awesome the food was. It was my husband’s birthday and at the end our waiter brought him an array of desserts from all over the world. ❤️5 STARS and then some!”

The Kool-Aid was tasty, and the gyro sandwich was also well-seasoned. The wait time is a bit longer than usual, but since everything is cooked fresh, I didn’t mind. The location is in a somewhat sketchy strip mall, but just park, head inside, place your order, and leave—it's not an issue. While I wasn’t a fan of the fries, the main dishes were great. Bottom line: I’ll definitely be back.”

“Ordered through door dash, everything was amazing. Had the 3 meat and 2 meat plates. We ordered the pork ribs, very tender and delicious. Jalapeño cheese sausage, good spice. Brisket, tastes amazing. For sides we got mustard potato salad, VERY good and I’m picky with my potato salad. Mac and cheese, reminds me of the Velveeta cheese shells, good creamy cheese sauce. And the charro beans, good smoky flavor with a nice spicy kick at the end. Love this place! And their bbq sauce is really good with a little spice to it, not real spicy.”

“Best sushi (omakase) I’ve had in Houston! While I haven’t been everywhere, I’ve been to a lot of places like Uchi and Kata Robata, and TINS beats them out.

This is a small, no frills omakase hidden gem. It’s run by two friends (Chef Sky and Matt) and they buy there sushi per reservation so it’s fresh!

Location-wise, it’s in a two store shopping center on Durham and I-10. Nothing special. When you walk in, it first looks like a 10-top cocktail bar with a lounge area in the back. The lighting is low and the decor is simple. Again, no frills, but the magic is the food and drink.

For the food, Everything Sky served was a hit. We had toro, amberjack, salmon, uni, eel, yellow tail, oyster, and flounder. Probably more, but it all seemed to run together with the conversation and drinks. Some pieces were simple and some more extravagant. Nothing, however, felt over complicated or gimmicky. One piece was a flame roasted king salmon that I swear melted in my mouth. Another piece was a light and fresh amber jack with lemon zest and truffle. Again, the highlight was how the sushi was the focus with how fresh it tasted. Sky didn’t try to mask the sushi with other ingredients.

Also, as a side note, Sky and Matt told us they host private parties with advance reservations and have karaoke available.

“Updated- I was able to try the “new” Andiron recently. The menu is a bit different. Gone are the expensive Wagyu meats and some new items have been added. Fortunately, the space kept its classic elegance and much of the same great staff remains. The martinis are still the best. I wouldn’t say the place is much less expensive but there are more options at a fair price for the quality and service. I had the market fish with a green pea hummus and curry sauce. The Caesar salad was delightfully unique with plenty of freshly grated Parmesan and a hint of citrus zest. This place is still one of my favorites in town. AND they still have their happy hour, a great way to give them a try.”

1. Blueberry jelly donut - it's mix of berries and cookie dough (for donut). It has a sweet and tangy taste. 4.5/5

2. Caramel Dulce - I love caramel and this was by far the best caramel icecream with chocolate chunks. Base flavour is Dulce with caramel filled chocolate chunks in it. However, it was very sweet. I had a single scoop and it was more than enough for me ( for a person who has a sweet tooth).

The smothered chicken was excellent, squash casserole too and the potatoes tasted great, even without the gravy.”

“We arrived with no reservation as a party of 9 on a Saturday so we expected a long wait. We were told at least an hour. No problem. 25 minutes later a hostess offered us 2 adjoining tables. Perfect! The moment we sat down upstairs our waitress took drink orders and I swear they magically appeared less than ten minutes later and were as beautiful as they were potent! We ordered appetizers that were as filling as entrees! Our food came out fresh and piping hot! The mac and cheese was chef's kiss! We were so full that we didn't even eat DINNER later that night! The manager, Marco, was incredibly helpful and made sure everything was exactly as we wanted. The staff was warm, friendly, and very welcoming. Our server, Tony, was excellent—attentive, personable, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was simply delicious, and their drinks were outstanding—truly something special. The DJ was fantastic as well, really set the vibe for the night. I’m so glad I chose this place for my birthday celebration; they made it an unforgettable experience. “Fun lil burger joint that has a sick interior and showcases great Houston pride. Came with a group and we all squeezed into the booth and instead of feeling cramped, it felt real cozy instead. Everyone enjoyed their burgers (got mine with spicy mayo) and overall a great time....just wish they'd be open later.”

“Been here 4 times since they opened. The pho here is GOOD! As good or better than all the other pho places on Bellaire or Katy. The broth is beefy, smooth and hot. They offer the fresh noodles too. The service has been great every time! People are super friendly. It is modern, clean and play good music. The owner must be a car guy based on the decor. Have no idea what people leaving the negative reviews are talking about, this place is good! Don't take my word for it, try it for yourself.”
