“We came in to experience the ice cream but we were more intrigued by the excellent customer service provided to us by an amazing lady who was operating the store. The creation of the ice cream in front of you is very special, I definitely recommend this shop to anyone who visits the area!“

“I have been following ZZ’s Ice Cream journey since discovering them during a food tour in her trailer with my sisters back in 2023. The story she shared with us that day was truly inspiring, it was clear that this wasn’t just a business, but a passion built from purpose and heart.

Recently, I made the drive to her current shop in Irving, Texas. It’s a bit of a distance for me, but I truly enjoy supporting businesses like this. The new location is such a step up cute, welcoming, and in a great area.

I treated myself to butter pecan ice cream with Fruity Pebbles, and it honestly reminded me that even as an adult, it’s okay to enjoy the little things that bring happiness. I highly recommend that the business remains in this location; the community was incredibly welcoming and clearly excited to have ZZ’s Ice Cream there.

“Cookies are good but got the eggnog tres leches tonight and the whipped cream was crumbly and was moreso butter than whipped cream so that was a bit disappointing, it had been over whipped. The cake without the cream (butter) was nice though.“

It is a small place but perfect for going as a couple or going to enjoy alone, since if you go with more people it will also fit or if you like to take your snacks to the park or home to eat it is also a very good place to choose.“

“Enough ice cream options, sundays look good. Menu prices are reasonable, considering they let you pick from their fruit options. The only problem we ran into is the proportion of the fruit is not bite-size, and since the fruit might have been frozen prior, the fork does not penetrate and the core of the fruit is much colder when biting into. Very loud music but it can disconnect you from the real world for a bit. The restroom is ample and clean. Service was fast. Chips for the nachos are not the best flavor but queso and jalapeños compensate. Enjoyed the mangonada, it was topped with diced mangoes more on the tarty not ripe kind. Will be back to try something different, maybe the crazy soup they have.“
