“This restaurant's food is very acceptable. I had the grilled meat plate and it was freshly made and well-grilled. I did not feel the taste of Turkish food, sumac and Turkish spices taste were missing. I guess they want to please a certain crowd, the casserole, steak and potato eater. However, the meat was good, tender and well grilled. I had the plate of appetizer and they were all good. The only down side is the price. My bill was $62.00. I only had a tea with my lunch. Had I ha al kebab and a drink, my bill would have been at least $35.00 which is really expensive for lunch at a neighborhood restaurant. I was in Dubai recently and found the food to be as expensive as here, but everything they serve you is the highest quality and so good you could die the next day happy! Which is not the case here.“

“wow what a delightful surprise! huge menu options will need to come back regularly! had spicy chicken miso ramen...great flavor with a delicious assortment of yummies at no extra charge, large flavored chicken slices, seasoned eye, bamboo, dumplings and corn. I usually pay extra from that. and at $12.95 such a bargain!!!!! friendly staff and nice atmosphere.“

It’s honestly one of the best goat pulaos I’ve had in a very long time. The service was also friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be coming back again!“

“One of my favorite casual barbecue spots in Houston that is also reasonably priced. I’ve ate at this location several times and have used their group order for a party and I always have a pleasant experience here. The food is always delicious. My one critique is that I really really wish Rudy’s would add French fries or some other type of potato side option other than potato salad. In a head to head barbecue match I give Pappas a leg up because their sides game is on a different level.“

“Steve and I are always on the hunt for good food that has a taste of home. What we found is Aloha Hawaiian BBQ Express off FM1960/Hwy 6. We were not disappointed. We each had the mix plate. Teri Beef, Teri Chicken, Kalbi (for Steve) and Chicken Katsu (for me) Couldnt pass up the Musubi The salad tasted like Zippy’s (and that’s a compliment). Highly recommend.“

“A good friend told us about this little gem of a restaurant; he often bought the banh mi to go for us at work and said they’re a great family-owned business.
Had time today to stop by and met Daniel, who immediately knew who we were when we said our friend would buy us their sandwiches. Daniel was super warm and inviting to my wife and I and we knew he valued our patronage and we knew we feel good about spending our hard-earned money with him.
He went over their selection and we decided to go for their wonderful deal of buy 5 sandwich and get the 6th one free along with drinks and some delicious Vietnamese yogurt. We got the thit nuong (BBQ) and the combo, and both were spectacular. I mean it, they were SPECTACULAR; the bread was toasty, yet soft and warm, the meats tasted perfectly seasoned & prepared and the veggies and pickled carrots were next-level fresh and many times, it’s the veggies that will make or break any banh mi. I’ve grown up eating many banh mi from many different restaurants all around SW Houston and Chinatown, and by far and hands down, Nguyen Ngoc’s is the best of the best.

“Tried this truck out for the first time at No Label …OMG!!! I am not lying when I say that this is THE BEST BRISKET SANDWICH I have had in my life. The meat was so tender and flavorful. I cannot wait to have another one.“
“I had a wonderful chopped beef sandwich. It was tender, moist, and an ample serving. The Rose Beer Garden also has a nice play place for kids, TVs under a pavilion, and a bar.
Parking: Parking fills up pretty quickly on weekend evenings, but you can get creative.
Kid-friendliness: There is a stage with live music sometimes, and a play area for kids.“

“My late wife and I have been to both locations of brisket House barbecue. They are located on Woodway in Houston and on Cypress Creek Parkway near FM 1960. I have not been to this location in years since my wife passed away. My brother and I decided to go out to eat Monday, August 11 at the Woodway location. They did not disappoint. The food was great and the young lady that assisted us was very sweet. I hope to return soon.“

“I ate here last night with my mom and daughter. We had a great experience! Everyone came by and made sure we were doing ok, refilled drinks, removed empty dishes, even offering more banchan when they saw it we had eaten ours. The food was all really good. We ordered a la carte: chicken bulgogi, spicy pork bulgogi, and beef bulgogi, and when we were finished, someone even packed our leftovers for us and brought me some more kimchi to go. The meat came with banchan, salad, rice and a soup. We also tried the seafood pancake, fried dumplings, and japchae. Very happy with all of it! I look forward to coming back and trying the ayce bbq.“

“I had high expectations after seeing pictures of the food on Instagram and it did not disappoint! We got the Torta Croissant with brisket, brisket Elote and a side of brisket. Everything was absolutely amazing. The torta croissant melted in my mouth. The flavoring on the elote was soooo good. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu! We got there around 6:30 on a Saturday and several items were sold out. I’m happy they are busy and selling out, but just plan accordingly!“
