“This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. I highly recommend Manna Shabu & BBQ and can’t wait to come back with my family the next time I’m in town. Thank you for making my first visit such a wonderful one!“

“Stopped by Hard Eight this weekend. By far the best BBQ I’ve had to date. This is coming from someone who has lived in the Southern East coast. Variety of different meats, pretty expensive but absolutely worth every penny. We purchased the brisket, ribeye, jalapeño and cheese sausage and sirloin. All was extremely juicy and not over cooked. Staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely come back!“

“Dare I say that this spot rivals LSA Burger in terms of taste, and LSA has some of the best burgers I've ever had.

I ordered 2 sliders for $14, the Main Street and the Rail Sliders. Maria, the chef, cooked the beef to absolute perfection, medium rare, amazingly juicy patties, perfectly complimented with each ingredient. The Main Street used a slight bit of mustard with fried onion strings (basically small strings of onion rings), with cheddar, to create an almost sweet, rich slider. The Rail used cooked onion strings instead, with barbecue sauce and gouda cheese. This made for a much richer, deeply savory slider, one you'll definitely want to eat slowly.

I can't stress enough how well every component was cooked as well as how the all go together to create flavors that are so elegant. I'll definitely be returning. I will say that they are so decadent that you'll probably wish that the slider was a full sized burger instead. Hopefully one day!

“I got the lunch special of 1 meat and 1 side as well as the lemon cake dessert. The brisket was very good in my opinion, perfect balance of fat and lean meat; loved the sauce that was on the side, it was very peppery but balanced with a slight sweetness. Comes with a side of toast and pickles and pickles onions that were also very delicious and good balance. The Mac and cheese was a semi disappointment due to it being spiral noodles but the cheese sauce and breadcrumbs really bring it back to being tasty. Lastly, the dessert, smoked lemon cake. It was hard to judge it, they forgot the berries so it was good but not quite up to par, the cake portion did not taste smoky, was very dense but still moist. Comes with this lemon drizzle/curd sauce that was very good. Worth a visit for the atmosphere and food, but if you're looking for solid BBQ I would give this place a pass and maybe go to hard 8, Hutchinsons or even maybe Loro if you're looking for something more modern.“

A bit disappointed upon arrival to a gas station, but after tasting the pulled pork, bbq beans & banana pudding, I knew I’d be back for the food, not the ambiance. Absolutely heaven! They had cole slaw, broccoli salad, mashed potatoes & fries as well as brisket & pork. I found the prices to be very reasonable also! Yum!“

“Good but a little expensive. I do wish they gave more potato salad in your plate and more pickled radish. It's a small portion compared to the meat, which I guess is good if you like a lot of meat. 👍 I like the grilled chicken and bulgogi. I frequently go here since I work nearby. It's a little expensive at $15-$20 for one meal for just yourself. I can't imagine taking my whole family here to eat but it's good. It's my treat lunch when I want to splurge. 😋“

I placed an order online for pickup, and when I arrived, it wasn’t quite ready yet. At first, I wondered why—then I walked in and immediately understood. There were only two incredible people running the entire restaurant, and I have to give them the recognition they deserve.

Grace and Ashley, a wonderful mother-daughter duo, were working tirelessly to take care of everyone. They were juggling so much at once—filling orders, serving customers, and keeping everything moving—and yet they did it all with kindness, patience, and genuine care.

It’s rare these days to meet people with such good hearts. Despite being understaffed, they went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. Watching them work together was inspiring, and their dedication truly made my day.

Thank you, Grace and Ashley, for your hard work and for being such bright, beautiful souls. You both turned what could have been a stressful situation into a wonderful experience. Dickey’s is lucky to have you!“

“This place is designed to eat. It is mostly for taking out or for catering. The food is exceptional. I believe that they cook everything with a nice charcoal flavor. Not much spacing to eat inside. However I believe almost everyone gets it to go.“

The same exact quality of food as their Plano location. Make sure to ask for extra kimchi! Peter the owner is very kind and prides himself on his quality service and food.“

Their brisket is tender and juicy with just the right amount of smokiness, and the ribs fall right off the bone. The sides are just as good—mac & cheese, baked potato casserole, and fried okra are absolute must-haves.
