“We luv this place! It's been years since we came upon one to go to after having lived in Florida for so long. They have some there. So we were thrilled that there are several in TX as that's it's original place of origin. Everyone is extremely polite and our waiter James was fantastic! Plenty of parking across the street. There's a parking deck and also places to park in an outside parking lot that's shared w other stores. There's a Tom Thumb store there but their parking lot is just for their customers. The food at this restaurant is always fresh! A must try if you've never been to one.“

“Sat at the bar for an afternoon meal. This is our favorite Mexican food establishment. We had a delightful bartender/server Emilee. She took our order and was very kind and attentive. We ordered puffy tacos and the Big Sucker burrito. The food was hot and delicious. And very big portions. The beans they bring out with chips and salsa are my husband's favorite. He always orders a portion to go. Emilee did an excellent job of filling our tea, grabbing to go boxes and to go teas!“

“🥰👍The Mexican Inn Café – As a recent homeowner in the Fairmount Historical district of Fort Worth, Texas and needing a caterer for a Birthday celebration I searched yelp* with way too many choices. After much research and difficult pricing decision to make I took a deeper dive into the website for the Mexican Inn Café. What I found was lots of happy folks with both food and the restaurant. Next step was asking around for personal experience and found again lots of happy folks. Last step was a personal visit to check out the food. Well, that was a pleasant surprise for a restaurant that has been there for 60 + years – great food – great service and impressive service personal. Making the arrangements for the catering service was easy and working with Annette Rosas far exceeded my expectations. On the day of the birthday party the food arrived on time and their set-up service was excellent. OH, those yummy food smells. Everything looked delicious, was well prepared and the display was a treat to the eye. In addition - all was an enormous success from the party goers’ praises … except for there being little left over for me to enjoy the next day>LOL. I would like to recommend the Mexican Inn Café 8th Street in Fort Worth and Annette Rosas to anyone in need of catering services or an excellent place to eat. Thank you Annette for making my chose an excellent one – You are Amazing.“

“The steak tacos were fantastic and the flavors really stood out. I was also thrilled that they let me switch the refried beans for a side salad. You can see it in one of my photos and it turned out to be far from an ordinary salad. The Caesar dressing was unbelievably good and I would go back just for that. “This is my favorite place to eat in Ft Worth! The food is amazing and the hot sauce is on point! The sweet tea is the best. Usually, I can only find 2 out of 3 in a restaurant but here, they have all bases covered!! I try to come every Friday afternoon if I can. If I could, I would eat there daily. I always get the skillet cheese enchiladas with beef (which is so tender and the best I've ever had) I have them grill my onions a little longer and no peppers. Then, for dessert, the chocolate tres letches is the best dessert I've ever had that's Mexican food. As far as Mexican food dining goes this should be the best in the city. The staff is always nice and accommodating. The waitstaff is wonderful, They deserve big tips!! They do a lot of work for you. They really go above and beyond and the team seems to all work well together. When you see that type of synchronicity you know they love what they do.“

“The server was great! It appears they've done some remodeling. The seats and tables appear to be redone and resurfaced. The food arrived quickly and was as ordered. I'm beginning to notice that other customers share my biggest frustration when dining at Mexican Inn. The lights above each booth appear to have been purchased at a law enforcement supply store. They hang low, and most of them emit a very bright white light. They are nothing short of interrogation lights! But don't let the lights deter you. Do what I do. I order my food, then I unscrew the light! There's enough ambient light to read the menu and enjoy the delicious food.“
