Unfortunately the quinoa harvest salad with roasted beets, butternut squash, pepitas, and goat cheese was only greens…. Minus the other listed ingredients. Our waitress Brook was notified and said the cook staff that made the salad broke up with his girlfriend and sad! 😔 well we were sad and disappointed ☹️ and no compensation offered. The chicken Caesar salad was delicious. 😋 Hopefully no one else will get the same poor quality fall salad ! Beware ! 👻 trick or treat???!!!”

“I have been wanting to try this place for some time now after excellent reviews from friends. It exceeded expectations from the well-balanced and delicious cocktails to both cold and hot dishes. For cocktails I tried the Maracuya (welll-balanced, fruit forward but not too sweet) and Club Esmeralda (balanced with fresh herbaceous essence). My husband had the Saltao’ Sour (balanced Mezcal cocktail but not too Smokey with egg white for a nice finish) and Hola Oaxaca (Smokey cocktail balanced with the Orgeat). I recommend trying them all! For food we started with the Nikkei Cebiche which was the highlight of our meal. The fresh Yellow Fin tuna layered with flavors instantly had us ready for a second visit. On to the Piqueos section of the menu where we enjoyed the Yucca Frita, Conchitas a la Parmesana and Anticuchos. Each a warm dish with continued fresh flavors. For our main course we shared the Chaufa (fried rice with pork belly, sausage, egg etc) again layers of flavors and a hearty portion to share. We completed our food journey each with a glass of wine, he a Sauv Blanc from Chile and myself an Albariño. Please come enjoy this lovely gem in Southtown. It’s a unique, one of a kind restaurant in San Antonio. Thank you to the Chef and team for an amazing Sunday lunch experience. We will be back for more.”

We decided to do the SA Restaurant Week's Prix Fixe menu and it was a perfect way to taste a couple items that stuck out on their main menu like the charred octopus, redfish and braised beef rib. All of our food selections were so executed perfectly. Even the wine they suggested was so smooth, Walt 2023 Pinot Noir - must try! We will be back to try the duck next time!”

The wait staff is excellent (shout out to Katie!); the menu is well organized and offers several out-of-the-ordinary Italian dishes. Don't fill up on the tasty breads and olive oil dip, because the food is delicious and the portions are generous. For a weekend meal, consider making reservations because the restaurant fills quickly. We were pleased with our dinner selections and no one left hungry! The overall experience was so good, we agreed the Pazzo Pastaria would be our new favorite restaurant. PS. “First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.”

We sat in the seating that overlooks the kitchen and I purposely made those reservations because I knew my wife and I would enjoy that and we did. Watching how the staff and the owner meticulously prep and create and put the finishing touches on each dish as they leave explains why everything was so good. We did the “feed me “plan where we let them send out what they wanted to give us and each thing was perfect and nothing was less than. We have eaten in top restaurants all over the world, and I would put Clementine up against all of them. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation. Sit in the seating where you can watch the kitchen and appreciate the hard work and meticulous detail that they are doing on your behalf. Can't wait to go back.”

“We ran into Blanca’s Cake and Catering about 2 years ago at a quince expo. Ever since then my daughter has been raving about them, and this was just from a tasting. Then we hired them to do the cake and repostería at my daughters quince. Everything was perfect from the frosting to the cake to the cookies. I explained how we do not like frosting that is too sweet and a little bit whipped and boy did they come through. The wedding cookies were raved about through my family and the little matching colored desserts were a hit with all the teens. Would recommend a million times over.”

From the moment you walk in, the ambiance hits you—it has a distinct, old-world European feel that is elegant without being stuffy. The service was stellar; the staff managed to be incredibly courteous and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. A special highlight of our evening was meeting the owners, Jill and Juan, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Even though we aren't overly familiar with high-end wines, they offered two exceptional wine pairings that made us feel special rather than intimidated. We walked away feeling like we had actually learned something new about what we were drinking.
As for the food, it was even better than the atmosphere. We started with the bread served with butter that was truly something to write home about, followed by a delightful salad. For the main, the Osso Buco was hands-down the best I have ever had. We finished the night with a sinfully good dessert that topped off a perfect meal.

The ribs were good but not memorable and the brisket was a bit chewy BUT, the sausage and chicken were EXCELLENT. The baked beans were simple but perfect. They reminded me of a family picnic. In my opinion, the green beans were OUTSTANDING and the star of the show. Very unique flavor that hit the taste buds like WOW! I’ll definitely go back for double chicken with green beans and baked beans!”

“I had such a wonderful experience here today! As a very early postpartum mom running on little sleep, I accidentally placed my order at the wrong Willie’s location. When I finally made it to the right one and explained my mistake, the Hwy 151 team kindly remade my food so I wouldn’t have to eat something that had been sitting for a while — all without me even asking. This small act of kindness meant so much. I told my baby that day that when you can, offer people as much grace as possible and be kind — because you never know what someone might be going through. “Last week I was one in a group of twelve who had an amazing experience dining at Ida Claire. All agreed that the food was excellently prepared and tasty. My recommendation is to enjoy their heavily discounted happy hour offerings during lunchtime as a fun way to visit the riverwalk; the elegance and sophistication on display in their presentation, the tasty grub, and the engaging atmosphere all combine to create a memorable visit.”

“We were seated right on time w/our Open Table ressie--thanks OT. All three of us loved or salad and main courses. WE did not enjoy an approximately 30-minute wait form being seated/greeted by our Waiter and then having him take our order. Cappy's and their other restaurant Mama Mia's have a very high noise level in the main dining area.”

“One of my favorite cafes in San Antonio! I love to come here and order food/drinks and work on my laptop. Seating is really comfy and there are a few outlets along the wall that I can plug into. Food is excellent (love the sandwiches) and the matcha is delicious. Staff are friendly and there are plenty of free video games to play.”

“Went on NYE and it was somewhat a chaotic packed house but they held it together and delivered quality. Had to wait 25 minutes for a table we were 8 minutes late for but the good news was we could grab a great variety from the salad bar, including pork belly, bacon and lobster bisque and eat it at the bar. Got a comped desert for a birthday. So really overall great place”

“My wife and I were visiting from Oregon. When traveling we often splurge a bit for a nice dinner while away from home. Eric was our waiter this night and helped make the experience even better! He was very helpful and professional, taking his job seriously while offering a welcome amount of friendly conversation. My wife and I shared several items….For an appetizer, we ordered the shrimp cocktail (huge and delicious), and for the main course, a 10oz Barrel cut (Deans style) steak (highly recommend by Eric) with Yukon gold mashed potatoes. Both were delicious and perfectly seasoned/prepared. A Pinot Gris for my wife and a nice glass of 17 yr Eagle rare were a great complement to the meal. We had a wonderful experience!!!”

“My dogs cake was the cutest thing ever. My dog looked so happy and even the other two got to enjoy it as well! I come here for my dogs cakes every year and they never disappoint! If you want a clean cute looking dog cake this is your place! They have different size options as well as little cookies to add onto the cake to really make it pop ! Thankyou puppychinos !”

“As well seasoned travelers, we were surprised to have such a great experience at Beercode in the San Antonio airport. We sat at the bar and Anika, the bartender, was so personable and took very good care of us.
