“The waitress Diana was friendly and very attentive. She brought out my food just like I ordered and made sure it was complete. I also enjoyed watching the big tv’s while I eat. Truly amazing.”
“Absolutely exceptional food and service! Great spot for a nicer date night than our usual spots. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back!”
“Top notch food with even better service. San Antonio location. 👍”
“After 30 years leading in the military and now 10 years as a leadership consultant, believe me when I say that Mr. Chang epitomizes great leadership. He cares. He connects. He knows the importance of building relationships with customers and staff. The food and the service is outstanding. I'll keep coming back.”

“Best Thai food in Town love this place highly recommend”
“My wife and I were looking forward to the opening. We finally got to go on a date night. It was packed but the atmosphere was great. The waiter was amazing and the food was fantastic. We had the Caprese Salad, Bruciatini and the Mussels In White Wine. And for dessert we had Panna Cotta. Can't wait to go again.”
“The “el gato” was sooo good, and the owner is friendly. We got to see kitties while we were there :) Cute little set up in a nice spot. Love the vibes. Palm Buddha was closed by the time we got to Tuxedo Cat’s, but we plan on coming back soon!”
“I definitely didn’t need 2lbs of chamoy sour belts But I found them here and a few of my favorites in bulk 😍”
“We ate here on October 4 for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious. The bone marrow was sublime, the grilled octopus was amazing, and the hanger steak was so juicy and tender that I almost cried.”

“This was our second time going. (The first time was in Portland, Oregon) This was an excellent dining experience. The staff was amazing and very attentive! 10 out of 10, highly recommend!”
“Ate at Twin Peaks today at SW Twin Peaks .. Elexis served me and never missed a step with drinks or asking about the food .. Her friendly smile and happy personality made me have a great day .. I will be back . By far the best in San Antonio .. She is 6 star service. Thank you and I will tell my friends to eat there... The best.”
“First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.”

“My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at Myron's June 18, 2024. Our hostess Monica was wonderful. She was courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our steaks were prepared to perfection. The wine complimented our meal. The atmosphere was very inviting. The food is worth every cent. I hope visit there again the next time we're in San Antonio. S. Sanders”
“We hosted a Celebration of Life at BJ's Brewhouse, Hwy 281 N. Could not have been more satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and especially the food. There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. I've heard terms like "never had pizza this good", "the service was excellent", "wonderful place." I highly recommend this particular location for events. EXCELLENT.”
“(05/30/25) Eight of us met for dinner at the Pazzo Pastaria and were immediately greeted and seated by the very pleasant co-owner, Ginny. The ambiance is simple, cozy and (thank you), not noisy. The wait staff is excellent (shout out to Katie!); the menu is well organized and offers several out-of-the-ordinary Italian dishes. Don't fill up on the tasty breads and olive oil dip, because the food is delicious and the portions are generous. For a weekend meal, consider making reservations because the restaurant fills quickly. We were pleased with our dinner selections and no one left hungry! The overall experience was so good, we agreed the Pazzo Pastaria would be our new favorite restaurant. PS. If you are intrigued, check out its online page, which displays location, hours, menu items and customer reviews.”

I debated whether or not to post this review because I absolutely want to gatekeep Yozora. However, I also want Chef Emanuel and his team to succeed, so whatever. Just as long as you leave me a table, I’ll let you in on the secret.
The interior is mid-century modern with a chill vibe. The clean lines and no-frills interior didn’t feel sparse but instead gave me Mad Men vibes. The vinyl set up to the left of our table screamed 70s basement party in all the right ways. The music was kept at an acceptable level—not too loud that it kept us from hearing our conversation but loud enough to tempt me into shaking my hips when a slammin’ Bossa Nova came on.
**Be advised: we ordered damn near everything on the menu, and our bill reflected as much. Don’t think too hard; just donate some plasma next month.**
It’s not hard to go a little menu crazy with the izakaya-inspired menu.
Lucky Chicken is a red ale IPA from Kyoto, Japan. I had the yuzu sake high ball, which was crisp and refreshing.
The Asian pear cucumber salad was addicting. The floral pear and the mildly sweet cucumber cleansed the palate in anticipation of the meal. The Shiro Wrap (which I assume is named for Yozora’s predecessor) is a spicy avocado and panko-fried soft-shell crab filling surrounded by a soy wrap, masago, and chives. It’s one of those dishes you think of occasionally and wonder if it misses you as much as you miss it.
The Charcoal Grilled Chasu had a unique combination of fatty braised pork belly scented with charcoal that highlighted the salty creaminess of Reggiano cheese. The scallion kimchi that accompanied it mixed spicy with the herbaceous punch of the scallion tops.
The Garlic Edamame is like a toxic relationship: it hurts you but is so addictive and lovely that you can’t help but keep coming back to it. I spent the rest of the meal slurping soybeans from their pods while I conquered the rest of our meal. These have moderate spiciness, so if you’re sensitive to heat, I would skip them.
Hot Line Crispy Gyoza is a fried pork dumpling tossed in 911 sauce (it was more urgent care to us) and topped with parm-Reggiano cheese. These weren’t our favorite, but we’d demolish them after a night of drinking.
We moved on to the Yakitori section of the menu and enjoyed the Negima (chicken thigh and Japanese leek) and Waygu. Both were grilled exceptionally and remained juicy and tender.
We chugged on over to the “Crudo and Battera” section and ordered the Toro Tartare (I wished the lotus chip was thicker to accommodate the weight of the rich tartare), the Pepper Fin (I could drink the citrus soy/chili oil situation), and the Crispy Toro (we loved the juxtaposition of the creamy, fatty toro and the hidden crispy rice).
You might think we were ready to tap out by now… and we were, but we had ordered the Waygu Teriyaki, and we’re no quitters. The Wagyu was cooked perfectly, a gorgeous medium-rare, and the soy beurre blanc sat in was nothing short of seductive.
Our final push was the Yuzu Japanese Citrus Pie. I don’t know if they have an in-house pastry chef, but whoever created this dessert knows what the hell they’re doing. The yuzu offered the right amount of pucker factor, and the crisp, buttery crust added just enough sweetness to balance it.
Our server (I want to say his name was Ray or Roy) was exceptional in his attentiveness, engagement, and hospitality.
I wholeheartedly recommend Yozora as I think it should be on everyone’s list of must-eat places in the San Antonio area.”
“Fantastic! I had the Karrage chopped salad for lunch and it was delicious. Tastiest chicken I have ever had. Service was great. Intimate atmosphere, good cocktail assortment. Creative menu and different from the usual tourist fare.”
“Boudro’s has the best Guacamole! They make it right at your table. It was so good, I had them make me a second batch to take home with me! They are right on the river walk and minutes from the shopping area. A must try!”

“our family went during dinner time yesterday even though it was only one waitress and it was busy she was so nice and provided welcoming service. My tbone steak was cooked perfectly….compliments to the cook! Food was served hot and fast. There was some homeless people around the restaurant giving staff a hard time but they still maintained good service and hospitality regardless. 10/10 recommend stopping by!”
“I came to this Denny’s last week because it was close to a dr appt I’d just left. It was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. My server was Scott, so kind and efficient, never rushed me. I told him his voice alone put me at ease because he spoke so calmly (after a stressing dr appt). Food was excellent! Cleanest Dennys I’ve seen. Thank you, Scott! I will be back!”

“Gino’s Deli made me feel right at home. I am from the East Coast so walking and feeling like I was back in the northeast felt amazing. Guys were friendly and helpful. Food was 10/10 for the portion, taste, and price. I am definitely going back anytime on shift for lunch or just once in a while treat.”

“First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! Thank You For Everything !!”
“Me and my son went today for the first time and I have to say it was the absolute best experience. Every single staff member was so nice and very friendly! They explained the menu and made recommendations. To top it off the snacks we got were so delicious. 🤤 got the trifecta agua Fresca and a corn in a cup. We will definitely be back. Thank yall for such a great experience! 🤗”

“Jona was our server and he was Fantastic! He was very welcoming and suggested food items that were actually very delicious. He was also very attentive and I always had a full drink. Will definitely be coming back and asking for Jona again.”
“Amazing food, amazing staff and amazing atmosphere. A little close for comfort, listening to fighting couples made for the xtra entertainment. My server Isaac melted the experience together with filling recommendations. 10/10 will come again.”

“This is my second time coming here and it’s totally worth the drive from Austin! The bánh mì is always fresh, flavorful, and packed with goodness. The bread is crispy on the outside, soft inside—just how it should be. I tried the egg bánh mì this time and it hit the spot. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Definitely one of my favorite bánh mì spots now!”
“This is one of our favorite places to go. We were there this past weekend for our anniversary and the food did not disappoint! My wife had the Scaloppini Di Vitello while I had the Eggplant Parmesan. Both of our selections were very delicious! Great atmosphere and the service was great! Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to go for date night and great dining. We will be coming back!”
“The food is absolutely delicious!!! It came out extremely fast and very very good. The breakfast was equally amazing I got a waffle that literally was the shape of Texas it was amazing and tasted fantastic!”

“Customer friendly does no justice to how they make you feel there. Had my first date there. My white shirt was employee of the month. And it showed outstanding service trust your server explain what you're looking for and they got you from top to bottom outstanding customer service beyond belief. Lobster tacos yes . Worth every dollar. I 100% recommend thank you”
“Such a delightful experience. My third time visiting and it just keeps getting better and better. Stephen’s care and demeanor was so lovely (our server), what a gem. He helped us navigate a few dietary restrictions with ease. We did the tasting menu and WOW, everything was delicious. The stand outs were the fried quail with some magical sauce, the salt and pepper chicken, and the gnocci and tagliatelle. Can’t wait to return.”
“This bakery was recommended to me by a coworker that had used them at her wedding. The tasting was so cute, they give you the flavors on a little paint palette. The cake was both beautiful and delicious. We had guests telling us how good the cake was on our Facebook posts. They will be our go to bakery from now on.”
“Looking for a late night dinner on a very short San Antonio visit. From the moment I called (an hour before closing) the service was outstanding. They knew my name checking in and gave us the choice of dining room or bar. We took the bar and had it to ourselves until we left. Brett was working the bar and was great at suggestions and alterations based on wife’s restrictions. Wine suggestion; great. Salted watermelon mojito; great choice. Brett was and is worth stopping in for a fabulous dinner or a couple drinks. Mix a great meal with friendly, professional service in a classy environment and how can you go wrong !?”
“I’ve used exclusive cake shop a few times over the years, and each time it seems like it’s better and better. They are prompt, fast and efficient. The cakes are delicious and the custom features are so creative. I appreciate the customer service, attention to detail and tasty cakes. Order an exclusive cake today you won’t be disappointed! Thank you all!”
“While the food was absolutely amazing, we were really disappointed by the service. We were there to celebrate our first anniversary and aside from being a special occasion, my husband is a huge Yankee’s fan, so we were excited and quickly let down by the service we received. The food was superb and the wine selection was equally phenomenal, just wish the service matched the expectation of the experience.”
“I took my 3 daughters there and we each brought our fur baby. We sat on the patio and received the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. The food was amazing and drinks were 🔥 . The staff at Hemisfair though were the absolute best!!! What an absolute Gem in San Antonio!!! Everything was absolutely AMAZING!!!! This will definitely be the first of many times we will visit.”

“I tried Smith’s BBQ for the first time today and it’s a bit of a mixed review. I had the four meat sampler (brisket, ribs, sausage and chicken) with green beans and baked beans. The ribs were good but not memorable and the brisket was a bit chewy BUT, the sausage and chicken were EXCELLENT. The baked beans were simple but perfect. They reminded me of a family picnic. In my opinion, the green beans were OUTSTANDING and the star of the show. Very unique flavor that hit the taste buds like WOW! I’ll definitely go back for double chicken with green beans and baked beans!”
“ELISE CUISINE is the manifestation of owner Rocio’s ten-year dream, and her dedication and commitment to her dream is evident down to the smallest details. The dining space is simple, but quite lovely, and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Service was excellent and perfectly balanced in attentiveness. With hours of 7 AM to 4 PM, this is a breakfast and lunch place, with a varied and adventurous menu that caters to meat-eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and diners in need of gluten-free alternatives. On my first visit, I had the excellent spicy fried chicken sandwich, with sides of home fries and a wonderful arugula salad with cherry tomatoes, quinoa, and a balsamic vinaigrette perfectly blended between sweet and acidic. I look forward to returning again and sampling the extensive breakfast menu. Plenty of beverages are available, and there is a stately espresso machine that speaks to a restaurant that means business when it comes to coffee. This area of Potranco has been in dire need of a sit-down coffee house alternative to Starbucks, and ELISE CUISINE is it. I’ll admit that I was initially a bit cowed by the menu prices, but the portions are very generous; I left with half my meal unfinished, so I was really getting two meals for the price of one, and in truth, virtually all the dine-in, non-fast food alternatives in the area are similarly priced, with nowhere near the ambience and elegance. I plan to be a regular at ELISE CUISINE from here on out.”
“The atmosphere exuded a calming vibe, complementing the restaurant's commitment to well-being. The menu boasts a delightful array of nutritious options, each dish bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. I particularly enjoyed the Bang Bang Shrimp wrap! If you're seeking a culinary journey that nourishes your body it is a must-visit destination.”
“Cute place! Super clean and welcoming environment. Ordered at the counter and was welcomed with a warm and friendly employee. Food was fantastic! Great price for portions (fried rice was huge!!), great lunch combo and very fast. Would definitely come back. I’m gluten free and they even had gluten free sauces (never seen it before) amazing!!!”
“Came to try it for the first time for my son's birthday, he loved it , service is exelent! Super friendly staff , will definitely come back!”
“Went for the first time to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and everything was amazing! Service was on point food was delicious Would definitely go back again!”
“Las. Vegas maggiano en el fashion mall con el mejor chef que resulta que es mexicano su nombre es Jesús de Acapulco Guerrero los platillos con mejor sazón italiana y mexicana . Se los recomiendo con el mejor vino italiano Barolo y sobre todo el Caymus californiano . Ánimo”
“Kas makes every visit a blast! We had a lovely time with her, as always. Special shoutout to Caroline and Matthew, who both made sure to drop by and check on us. Always a great time here! Love Postino South Broadway :)”
“Signature has exceptional ambiance. Every aspect of our dinning experience was of the highest quality. Valet, Hostess, Bartendress, Waitress and Chef, along with Special Attendants, created a special experience and memorable evening.”
“the food was amazing as was the staff. it was a wonderful dinner and a wonderful evening”

I wholeheartedly recommend Yozora as I think it should be on everyone’s list of must-eat places in the San Antonio area.”
“This was hands down my favorite place to dine while visiting San Antonio. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Riverwalk, it offered a peaceful and inviting atmosphere that felt like a hidden gem. It was such a refreshing change of pace—quiet, relaxed, and full of character. From the moment I walked in, the service was top notch. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving. I never felt rushed, and everyone made sure I was comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire meal. The menu was a wonderful surprise. I had the chance to try several dishes I had never eaten before, and each one was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. You can really tell that care and creativity go into every plate. It was an experience that made me want to come back before I had even finished my meal. If you’re visiting San Antonio and looking for a spot that offers incredible food, exceptional service, and a calm escape from the typical tourist areas, I can’t recommend this place enough. It truly made my trip more memorable.”
“Ryan was amazing! Every suggestion worked out and tasted great. It might seem expensive but it's really not when you consider the quality. They don't cut corners. I recommend the Jambalaya with pasta instead of rice. It's fabulous.”
“The food, the creativity, and the drinks. All amazing. I experienced flavors that were familiar but completely new. Dishes that were traditional but unconventional. Do the wine and cocktail pairings, you won’t be disappointed!”
“Bohanan’s is the last name of the chef in Owner and was established in 2002. The building itself has some great history and I believe I was told this latest one is the third owner. Everyone we met last night took such great care us.”
“We found this place on Google and it was close to our hotel. We all loved it. Everything is made on site or grown locally. My hubby loves "meat porn" so this was his place. When you first walk in, they have their homemade meats hanging in a meat locker. I thought he was going to lose his mind! Pizza and dessert was beyond fantastic! It all is fresh AF. No joke. Even beer and wine is locally sourced. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE WHEN IN SAN ANTONIO.”
“A great experience! This is definitely a well kept San Antonio secret. Food was excellent with generous portions (lamb chops a must try). Service was prompt, courteous, and answered all our menu questions (ask for Sasha). Building and bathrooms clean. A definite do-again!”
“Today we had an extraordinary experience thank to our server Gregory we mentioned to him that we were excited and celebrating life because our 4 year old went for her yearly MRI scans and came out NED. He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. Food was delicious, cutomer service was excellent, I truly love the atmosphere and recommend it 100%”
“I went there with a bunch of my college friends and honestly everything was great. Chips and salsa was excellent and the guacamole tasted great. We ordered a few top shelf margaritas pitchers and they were just as strong as he said they would be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my friends were being rude and lying about what they ordered once they saw the price of the bill. Felt kind of bad for our server because our experience couldn’t have been any better.”
“It will direct you to an apartment complex. You are in fact in the right place, he makes the food himself and brings it down to you! It is authentic food and tastes exquisite!”
“I recently visited sushi hay, and it was an unforgettable experience! The all you can eat sushi and hibachi offer incredible value and an extensive selection. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Each piece is expertly crafted, with a wide variety of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the presentation is beautiful. The hibachi dishes are cooked to perfection, with tender meats and fresh vegetables. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure your dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. Overall, sushi haya offers an amazing dining experience with its all you can eat sushi and hibachi. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a fun time!”
“🔥 Flavor: Perfectly smoked meat with a juicy, tender bite 🤤. The pulled pork is soft and full of smoky goodness, while the ribs are sweet, savory, and melt-in-your-mouth. 🥗 Sides: Fresh, crunchy coleslaw 🥬 and classic Texas white bread—perfect for quick sandwiches. Jalapeños add a nice spicy kick 🌶️. 🏆 Verdict: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Authentic Texas BBQ at its best. Every bite is worth it. 💡 Pro tip: Put some pulled pork, coleslaw, and jalapeño in the bread—you’ll thank me later. 💥”
“Max & Louie’s New York Diner in northern San Antonio really captures that classic East Coast diner vibe. Their menu is huge, which made it tough to decide, but everything sounded amazing. I ended up going with the L.E.O. Scramble – smoked salmon lox with onions, served with my choice of fries or hashbrowns and a side of toast. It looked simple, but the flavor was spot on—rich, savory, and satisfying. To drink, I tried one of their Dr. Brown’s 1869 sodas imported from Brooklyn. I had the cream soda, and it was just right—not overly sweet, but really smooth and nostalgic. My boyfriend ordered the Hungarian Stuffed Cabbage, which almost looked like a hearty meatloaf. It came with mashed potatoes on the side, making it a very comforting, home-style dish. One of the things I loved most is that they serve breakfast all day, so you can enjoy classics like the L.E.O. or other diner favorites anytime. Max & Louie’s is the kind of spot where you can find something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a classic breakfast, New York–style deli fare, or comforting plates you don’t see everywhere.”
“Brianca was an excellent waitress with a wonderfully inviting personality! The venison, boar, and mesquite chicken were delicious and tender. Great choice for dinner.”
“Read a review saying if you download the app, your first drink is free so thougt we'd give it a try. Got a matcha frap w/ boba, match latte no sugar and hibiscus flower drink and they're all awesome. Some of the best matcha drinks I've ever had! Download the app or don't but its definitely worth the trip.”
“Amazing escargot! Lamb chops fantastic device superb and pear tart was heaven !”
“Corinne, what a wonderful jewel. The decor and the setting is out standing but it was Jorge and Mike that put this experience over the top. The single guy at the bar often draws little attention but this team made it feel like I showed up with a Vip crew.
Great input on the menu and on the hotel for a future stay. Thanks for an amazing evening.”
“I have tried almost every Sushi spot in San Antonio and Shiro stands above and beyond everyplace I have been to. Every single piece of Sushi was super fresh and just melts in your mouth, it is honestly going to be hard to go anywhere else after having been to Shiro. The prices definitely reflect the quality and freshness difference compared to other places and is 110% worth it.”
“I went to dine-in with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. We didn't have a reservation, yet we were seated without too much of a wait time. The food was delicious, the drinks were refreshing, and our server was very helpful & kind. Definitely a place I can see us revisiting in the near future!”
“Great brunch / lunch spot! Came with a group of 6 and all enjoyed it. They made special accommodations for birthdays as well which was nice, highly recommend making a reservation on the weekend. I will be returning for sure!”
“We tried The Lineman, onion rings & tater tots and we were not disappointed! Food was delicious 😋”
“Food was very good and brought with reasonable time. My family and I visited during graduation weekend, so it was reasonably busy. Trays of drinks were shattered on two separate occasions during our visit which disrupted the atmosphere but overall our server was very attentive.”
“I have been wanting to try this place for some time now after excellent reviews from friends. It exceeded expectations from the well-balanced and delicious cocktails to both cold and hot dishes. For cocktails I tried the Maracuya (welll-balanced, fruit forward but not too sweet) and Club Esmeralda (balanced with fresh herbaceous essence). My husband had the Saltao’ Sour (balanced Mezcal cocktail but not too Smokey with egg white for a nice finish) and Hola Oaxaca (Smokey cocktail balanced with the Orgeat). I recommend trying them all! For food we started with the Nikkei Cebiche which was the highlight of our meal. The fresh Yellow Fin tuna layered with flavors instantly had us ready for a second visit. On to the Piqueos section of the menu where we enjoyed the Yucca Frita, Conchitas a la Parmesana and Anticuchos. Each a warm dish with continued fresh flavors. For our main course we shared the Chaufa (fried rice with pork belly, sausage, egg etc) again layers of flavors and a hearty portion to share. We completed our food journey each with a glass of wine, he a Sauv Blanc from Chile and myself an Albariño. Please come enjoy this lovely gem in Southtown. It’s a unique, one of a kind restaurant in San Antonio. Thank you to the Chef and team for an amazing Sunday lunch experience. We will be back for more.”
“Had always eyeballed this place and got tickets as a gift from my son. From the minute, we stepped in there, until the minute we left, I was grinning from ear to ear. It is very special to be around people who genuinely love what they do and that is apparent from the minute Doc Watkins and the band step on the stage.
We were fortunate enough to catch a little bit of Christmas music and a little bit of jazz and it was all wonderful. I will be counting the days until I return.”
“This is consistently the best restaurant in San Antonio if you just want good food, good service, and relative quiet. Casually elegant without being fussy or curated.”
“Ordered 4 pizzas from Goldbelly to Tulsa Ok. Absolutely the best pizza I have ever had. Perfect, chewy crust, fresh delicious toppings. Could not ask for anything better. Thank you.”
“Stopped in for dinner and had a great meal. Maria R. was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The dishes were delicious as were the drinks recommendations.”
“Thank You Trinity For Making My Birthday Special !! She Kept Up With Everything & Good Recommendations. Service Was On Top Definitely
Coming Again & Asking For Her !!!!!”
“Delicious! And fast! Vegetarian and non-veg options. Tons of beer on draft.”
“So awesome and well worth the wait!! Fresh bbq, amazing homemade pickles and mac and cheese!! Perfect place to visit in San Antonio for authentic Texas BBQ!!”
“So good I forgot to review the first 3 times we went! Food must have had me mesmerized 🤤😵💫
Very chill, casual setup here with comfortable seating and easy to read menus.
I've gotten the mermaid oysters as an appetizer each time. They're delicious and have an extra sweetness to them that most oysters lack. As for main dishes, I am a huge fan of the gumbo here. Probably the best gumbo I've had in Texas. Its incredible. Simple yet full of flavor and perfectly balanced. Not super salty like most others.
Recently we had the coriander fish tacos either bacon, pico de gallo, jalapeños and Chipotle sauce. Omg that was 🤌😘
My wife got the Branzino which was served with broccolini and potatoes. A little more hearty of a meal, and very well prepared.
There hadn't been a miss we've tried yet. I'd definitely give this spot a try if you're in the area and in the mood for some fish! Super easy to order gluten-free here. They have a decent menu of cocktails and a full bar if you're looking to hang out.
We'll obviously be back in the near future!”
“Thank you so much to The Dive Bar for hosting My son Dallas' Blue Collared Christmas once again! You guys are the about best!!!!!”
“I will be going back. I went to this restaurant with some of my friends and we had a great time. Keith was our waiter. He showed us exceptional customer service. He brought us this fantastic Moscato and he’s very good with recommending dishes as well as drinks. I loved the vibe and the atmosphere. The food was excellent. I loved the salmon dish! Magnificent!”
“Today is my bday and April and Jessica gave me and my wife great customer service. The food was awesome. It was a vibe being outside by the river walk. We will be back.”
“Steve was sooooo welcoming upon arrival. I just relocated back from Austin. Great vibe. Great food. Great service. Great Argentinian Pinot Grigio by the bottle. I live close by soooo, see you soon.”
“We were first timers today! All was great from the welcome, menu recommendations, customer service, ambience. and delish food and choices! Highly recommend!”
“La Canterra location. Gabriel was our server and was outstanding. His recommendations were perfect. He explained every dish he brought out. Ask for him. Being from Spain and cooking paella and making tapas, the food at Toro is authentic and wonderful. I have eaten at many “Spanish” restaurants thru out the US and this has been my favorite! Highly recommend! Ole 💃🏻”
“Just came in for lunch and it was awesome! I had the bang bang chicken bowl, tacos, and my son got the sliders. He even got extra to take for later. The owners are so kind and welcoming, the whole experience was fantastic! Will definitely be back!”
“Wife and I, 1st timers! One word: Excellent! Food, service is top notch. Escargot, Pulpo and Paella are our, go to dishes. Recommend to all. Give yourself a change from Mexican food and try Spanish. Takes us back to Madrid and Marbella.”
“A Remarkable Dining Experience – Wok This Way Sets the Standard Wok This Way is an absolute gem that exceeded all my expectations, both in terms of food quality and service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel instantly at home. The restaurant’s ambiance is a wonderful blend of traditional and contemporary, creating a cozy yet vibrant setting that perfectly complements the delicious cuisine. The food was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was prepared with a level of care and precision that showcased authentic Asian flavors while incorporating modern twists. The variety on the menu was impressive, offering everything from classic favorites to unique chef specials. We sampled a few different dishes, including the savory Kung Pao chicken, the aromatic Thai basil stir-fry, and a perfectly crispy spring roll appetizer – each one was a standout in its own right. The balance of flavors was impeccable, and the freshness of the ingredients truly shined through. You can tell the kitchen team is passionate about their craft, and it reflects in the quality of every bite. What truly elevated the experience at Wok This Way, however, was the top-tier service. Ricky, who not only served us but is also the owner, brought a level of hospitality that was both professional and heartfelt. His attention to detail was exceptional – he made sure our glasses were never empty, checked in to see how we were enjoying each course, and even took the time to share stories about the restaurant’s journey. It’s rare to come across a place where the owner takes such a hands-on approach, and it made our visit feel incredibly personal and special. Ricky’s genuine kindness and dedication to providing an outstanding dining experience were truly a blessing. Overall, Wok This Way offers more than just a meal – it delivers an experience that lingers long after you’ve left. The combination of outstanding food, an inviting atmosphere, and remarkable service creates a dining destination that sets a high standard. For anyone looking to indulge in delicious Asian cuisine served with a side of heartfelt hospitality, Wok This Way should be at the top of your list. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try more of the mouthwatering dishes on their menu!”
“Great service and food.Friendly staff as well. This why we like coming to this location.”
“oh my gosh the most amazing excellent best sushi place I have ever gone in my life it's great service the food is delicious I totally recommend anyone visiting San Antonio that this is the best sushi bar there is... unlimited sushi for $20 how else can you go wrong... AMAZING!!!”
“My wife and I went today for lunch, she had the Chicken fried chicken and I had a burger with mushrooms and sautéed onions. Also a cactus blossom for appetizer. By far some of the best food we have had in a while. Complements to the chef and team. Devon was our waiter and he was great! We will be asking for him for now on when we go back. Also if you haven’t tried the Raspberry tea, you’re missing out lol. Just wanted to share cause great service is hard to find these days and again great job!”
“This was my favorite dining experience this trip. The food was an amazing fusion of Mexican and French cooking. I had a special dish of beef tenderloin with a buttery crab topping. So delicious. The proprietor is the most charming resauranteur I have ever met. Comfortable atmosphere and lovely table settings top off this hidden gem. I highly recommend!”

“This store is, far and away, the best maintained facility that I have ever encountered in the Panera nationwide chain. The service counter, the self-serve island, the dining room, and the restroom were impeccable. After 30 years of patronizing locations across the country, I have found that both corporate and franchise stores are grossly lax in their cleanliness, which is especially evident in the foul, dingy, worn, rusted, crusted, putrid, and universally nasty restrooms. My visit to this store was such a fresh and notable contrast. I introduced myself to the GM, affirmed him in no uncertain terms, and promised a positive review. The praise is well-deserved. It's too bad the Panera brand as a whole falls so woefully short of excellence.”
“I would like to recognize employee - 'Austin' for going over and beyond today, 8/15/2025; 1130AM. I had trouble with the McD App, he was willing to assist and checked up on me. Austin was also very kind and has a positive demeanor; he brought me a cup of water. Thank you! :)”
“We highly recommend this fabulous restaurant. I began going here just after they opened many years ago and have consistently had a delightful experience there. The service is superb, the food is delicious and the wine selection is excellent, and at a reasonable price! Their Happy Hour is one of the best in town! Don’t miss it!”
“The good: Brisket and ribs were very tender potatoe salad was good green beans were good The Bad: No inside seating, both brisket and ribs were a little dry and could of used a little more seasoning. food might of been kept warm for a bit, the reason maybe why it was a little dry.”
“We visited Outlaw Kitchen tonight for the first time & it was an amazing experience! From the staff to the wine to the food it was a fantastic dinner! Johanna was our waitress and she was so beautiful & lovely to speak with! The owners, Peggy & Paul, were gracious & felt like family. The chefs made meals that were top notch - can’t believe they haven’t received a Michelin Star yet! They will though, trust me! Outlaw Kitchen is a MUST dining experience!”
“We had a wonderful experience last night at Moon’s Daughters. The goat cheese appetizer and Dino rib entree were only outdone by the wonderful cocktails and service we got from Albert. Sitting outside on the patio was a great choice for the evening. We will be back!”
“LOVE the Philly Cheese steak sandwich! I think the chef had a wager with the waitress that he could over-stuff the sandwich with so much beef, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese that the sandwich was threatening to split the bread in half! It was so FAT with ingredients that IF the bread exploded under the strain, one would need a garden trowel to shovel all the food into a to-go container!! The taste was out of this WORLD! I'm a big guy and a cop and even I could only manage to eat half of the sandwich in the restaurant and took the rest of it home, where it proudly served as my dinner that night, too!! May the Chef live forever!”

“We met up with friends we hadn’t seen in 11 years, and Mi Tierra Café y Panaderia turned out to be the perfect spot for it. From the moment you walk in, the decorations really catch your eye — colorful, festive, and full of character everywhere you look. It feels like you’re stepping into a piece of San Antonio’s history. We absolutely loved the food, and to make it even better, a mariachi band came by our table and performed for us, which made the night feel extra special. We got so caught up in conversation that we ended up staying for a few hours, and our wonderful server took great care of us the whole time. She was attentive and friendly, and we made sure to tip her well for her hard work. The only downside was the long line at the bakery, so we didn’t get a chance to try it this time — but that just gives us a reason to come back. Overall, it was a memorable night at a truly unique San Antonio classic. Highly recommend!”
“Last week I was one in a group of twelve who had an amazing experience dining at Ida Claire. All agreed that the food was excellently prepared and tasty. Those of us who ordered bread pudding thought it was wonderful. The service was top notch, thanks to our awesome server King. King was not at all intimidated by the number in our party. He was personable, knowledgeable, attentive, and accurate. We would certainly go there again.”

“If you are looking for fast food TX BBQ I’m not quite sure why you would go anywhere else. This place puts Bill Miller’s to shame. It’s been quite some time since I’ve been to Smokey MO’s but all I know is every time I go I am impressed. The meat is so tender and not chewy at all. The brisket has a nice layer of fat marbled in it and the chicken was seasoned very well. The pinto beans taste more like refried beans with bits of brisket in it. Again this is a go to quick spot for some TX BBQ.”
“Very good restraunt!!!!, was my first time and happy to say not my last time comming here. I got the texas raised redish with lump crab which was delicious and the fish itself full of flavor and cooked perfectly. And I had very good service. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!!🔥🔥🔥”
“I went during the last day of restaurant week and got the salad, chicken sandwich, and matcha flan. The plating was excellent and food delicious, minus some cold fries. I brought this up to my server who said it would be handled and that was the last anything was said about it lol, hence the 4 stars.”
“This was my second experience with a Le Petite Chef dining event. Comparatively, the San Antonio experience kinda pales a little to my experience at the Manila version. It is gimmicky but in a good way. The food was great (but could they ease up on the baby arugula?) Service was good even though there were only 2 service staff for 40+/- customers. The hostess does help. The attraction is that there is a projected 3D animation on your table of a little tiny chef prepping the meal before each course appears. It is fun and whimsical. We dined at 5:30 pm. Unfortunately, the restaurant was still too bright, rendering the projections a little too washed out. There are a few price points available for the Prix Fixe style dining and is ok for the quality of food, service, and setting. Will recommend for the experience. The Le petite chef Manila was a lot more dramatic, complete with storytelling based on the theme (Arabian at the time we dined), costumed hostess and staff with the setting appropriately decorated. There was also a little audience participation with prizes awarded.”
“amazingly delicious food as well as 5 star service”
