Unfortunately the quinoa harvest salad with roasted beets, butternut squash, pepitas, and goat cheese was only greens…. Minus the other listed ingredients. Our waitress Brook was notified and said the cook staff that made the salad broke up with his girlfriend and sad! 😔 well we were sad and disappointed ☹️ and no compensation offered. The chicken Caesar salad was delicious. 😋 Hopefully no one else will get the same poor quality fall salad ! Beware ! 👻 trick or treat???!!!”

The wait staff is excellent (shout out to Katie!); the menu is well organized and offers several out-of-the-ordinary Italian dishes. Don't fill up on the tasty breads and olive oil dip, because the food is delicious and the portions are generous. For a weekend meal, consider making reservations because the restaurant fills quickly. We were pleased with our dinner selections and no one left hungry! The overall experience was so good, we agreed the Pazzo Pastaria would be our new favorite restaurant. PS. “First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.”

“My husband and I have eaten at Taco Palenque several times for the excellent Mexican Food and reasonable prices and generous portions. We have eaten in at this location 2x and love that this location is extremely clean and customer service was excellent! But to be fair Every location that we have dined in the true is for those locations as well!
We love the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa and veggie bar!! I typically get the delicious grilled chicken salad with mozzarella cheese and cucumbers always high quality food. My husband had a delicious enchilada and taco plate. We eat healthy during the week and exercise so on occasion we will treat our selves to some Taco Palenque! I also enjoyed a chamoy margarita and it was perfectly made! Keep u the Great job Taco Palenque!”

The ribs were good but not memorable and the brisket was a bit chewy BUT, the sausage and chicken were EXCELLENT. The baked beans were simple but perfect. They reminded me of a family picnic. In my opinion, the green beans were OUTSTANDING and the star of the show. Very unique flavor that hit the taste buds like WOW! I’ll definitely go back for double chicken with green beans and baked beans!”

The hostess was very active throughout the night, saw her running food, bussing tables, she watered my glass, and got me fresh silverware on one of my courses. All front of house staff were kind, knowledgeable, engaging, and active, the chef also greeted, and engaged with guests as they arrived/left. Very pleasant dining experience, real professionals that hit the mark well. Good pacing on coursing, fresh everything always, good wine, great food, comfortable experience, I'd come back again while in town in a heartbeat. The only thing I'd say is that mushroom salad with the pomegranates at the start was killer. The tart when it shined through to ride along that fresh Parmesan funk was a real treat, I almost wish a similar tart or acidity came back with the broccolini/pork dish to help prepare for the rest of the battle! All-in-all though each dish was killer, hope I can visit again!”

“We ran into Blanca’s Cake and Catering about 2 years ago at a quince expo. Ever since then my daughter has been raving about them, and this was just from a tasting. Then we hired them to do the cake and repostería at my daughters quince. Everything was perfect from the frosting to the cake to the cookies. I explained how we do not like frosting that is too sweet and a little bit whipped and boy did they come through. The wedding cookies were raved about through my family and the little matching colored desserts were a hit with all the teens. Would recommend a million times over.”

TO MY SURPRISE, I WAS CHARGED $65.00 AND INFORMED THAT ONCE THE FOUR-HOUR PERIOD EXPIRES, THE RATE AUTOMATICALLY DEFAULTS TO THE DAILY RATE OF $65.00—EVEN IF THE OVERTIME IS ONLY A FEW MINUTES. THIS POLICY FEELS UNFAIR AND MISLEADING. HAD I LEFT JUST TEN MINUTES BEFORE THE FOUR-HOUR LIMIT, I WOULD HAVE BEEN FULLY COVERED UNDER THE CREDIT. THE MAIN REASON I CHOSE TO DINE AT RUTH'S CHRIS THAT EVENING WAS BECAUSE OF THE CONVENIENT PARKING AND WALKING DISTANCE TO THE ALAMODOME. “ELISE CUISINE is the manifestation of owner Rocio’s ten-year dream, and her dedication and commitment to her dream is evident down to the smallest details. The dining space is simple, but quite lovely, and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Service was excellent and perfectly balanced in attentiveness. With hours of 7 AM to 4 PM, this is a breakfast and lunch place, with a varied and adventurous menu that caters to meat-eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and diners in need of gluten-free alternatives. On my first visit, I had the excellent spicy fried chicken sandwich, with sides of home fries and a wonderful arugula salad with cherry tomatoes, quinoa, and a balsamic vinaigrette perfectly blended between sweet and acidic. I look forward to returning again and sampling the extensive breakfast menu. Plenty of beverages are available, and there is a stately espresso machine that speaks to a restaurant that means business when it comes to coffee. This area of Potranco has been in dire need of a sit-down coffee house alternative to Starbucks, and ELISE CUISINE is it. I’ll admit that I was initially a bit cowed by the menu prices, but the portions are very generous; I left with half my meal unfinished, so I was really getting two meals for the price of one, and in truth, virtually all the dine-in, non-fast food alternatives in the area are similarly priced, with nowhere near the ambience and elegance. I plan to be a regular at ELISE CUISINE from here on out.”

We had Prime Rib with asparagus and garlic mash potatoes. The meat was good, but I have eaten Prime Rib tasting much better and far less expensive. The potatoes had gotten a little hard on the edges but was still good. The asparagus was slightly limp but good as well. The waiter Seth was excellent and was always there when you needed him. Overall it was a nice dinner.”

“We met up with friends we hadn’t seen in 11 years, and Mi Tierra Café y Panaderia turned out to be the perfect spot for it. From the moment you walk in, the decorations really catch your eye — colorful, festive, and full of character everywhere you look. It feels like you’re stepping into a piece of San Antonio’s history. We absolutely loved the food, and to make it even better, a mariachi band came by our table and performed for us, which made the night feel extra special. We got so caught up in conversation that we ended up staying for a few hours, and our wonderful server took great care of us the whole time. She was attentive and friendly, and we made sure to tip her well for her hard work. The only downside was the long line at the bakery, so we didn’t get a chance to try it this time — but that just gives us a reason to come back. Overall, it was a memorable night at a truly unique San Antonio classic. Highly recommend!”

BEFORE MY RESERVATION, I CONFIRMED THROUGH THE ONLINE CHAT THAT RESTAURANT GUESTS RECEIVE A FOUR-HOUR PARKING CREDIT WHEN USING THE VALET SERVICE. I VALETED MY CAR TO ATTEND A CONCERT AT THE ALAMODOME AND WAS PARKED FOR APPROXIMATELY SIX HOURS TOTAL. TO MY SURPRISE, I WAS CHARGED $65.00 AND INFORMED THAT ONCE THE FOUR-HOUR PERIOD EXPIRES, THE RATE AUTOMATICALLY DEFAULTS TO THE DAILY RATE OF $65.00—EVEN IF THE OVERTIME IS ONLY A FEW MINUTES. THIS POLICY FEELS UNFAIR AND MISLEADING. HAD I LEFT JUST TEN MINUTES BEFORE THE FOUR-HOUR LIMIT, I WOULD HAVE BEEN FULLY COVERED UNDER THE CREDIT. THE MAIN REASON I CHOSE TO DINE AT RUTH'S CHRIS THAT EVENING WAS BECAUSE OF THE CONVENIENT PARKING AND WALKING DISTANCE TO THE ALAMODOME. I HOPE MANAGEMENT RECONSIDERS OR BETTER CLARIFIES THIS POLICY FOR FUTURE GUESTS SO THEY CAN AVOID UNEXPECTED CHARGES.”
