I appreciated that Velvet Taco not only had veggie options clearly marked, they had multiple options and a couple of tasty ones at that! I had all 3 of the veg tacos and really liked both the cauliflower and paneer ones. Tofu one left something to be desired. Service was pretty slow, too. There was almost no one in there. The gal at the counter was nice, but my food took quite a bit longer than I expected. ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯“

“Last week I was one in a group of twelve who had an amazing experience dining at Ida Claire. All agreed that the food was excellently prepared and tasty. Those of us who ordered bread pudding thought it was wonderful. The service was top notch, thanks to our awesome server King. King was not at all intimidated by the number in our party. “Do you want to taste a little piece of my beautiful Jalisco México? This place will take you there. I live in Austin and travel about an hr every 2 weeks just to have their amazing birria. My favorite one is the goat one, but they have beef birria as well. Café de olla is a must, just the right amount of piloncillo and coffee. The owner is super friendly and the staff too. If they ever make a mistake on your order, they will solve it ASAP. Great job guys and I wish you would open one close to Austin jejeje.“

“Arrived early, 635 am, to Tacos N Salsa Mexican Cafe on 1604 to order 21 breakfast burritos. I greeted the first worker, setting up tables along the outside of the store, with a "Good morning"...her reply was, "we are not open yet" and locked the door behind her. I laughed and waited outside. The burritos were exceptional and well priced.“

“I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite place to eat in San Antonio. Located near the airport in a tucked away location, RO-HO Pork & Bread is a hidden gem. This is comfort food at it's finest. Ro-Ho has many great things on the menu, but they are best known for their Torta Ahogada, and it's what I get almost every time. The torta is always hot, the carnitas cooked to perfection, and the tomato salsa is to die for. You can get the torta with straight carnitas or you can mix it up with carnitas, pork stomach and skin, which is what I usually get. The torta also comes with cabbage, onion, radish and lime. No matter how you order it, it's going to be great! The place is super cool, with Mexican artwork and music. There is inside seating and an outside covered patio as well. Everything you can get to drink from the cold case is always ice cold. And they serve one of my favorite Mexican beers, Victoria. Chef Rojo is often around and greets customers. The ladies that work the register and food line are so friendly, and will answer questions if it's your first time. The place fills up quickly at lunch, so keep that in mind. I drive clear across town for my Torta Ahogada fix, if that says anything! Check this place out!“

Franks meat is clean and tender flavor is amazing! Ever since we started going to them a couple months again we try to go weekly. My husband loves the tacos! And the prices are affordable!“
