“My mom and I was getting birth certificates around the corner and my mom was craving Barbacoa so I googled the closest and this place popped up! I’m so glad we took the chance because let me tell you the food was so delicious! Definitely can taste the homemade cooking. Very authentic. I wish I took a photo but trust me when I say “heaven in your mouth.” Homemade corn and flour tortillas were severed. I will definitely come back and recommend to everyone in the Southtown/downtown area. Overall, great experience and wonderful family owned.“

“Used them for a teacher luncheon and they delivered to our school. The elevator was broken and the two ladies carried trays and huge coolers up 2 high flights of stairs at least 7 times up and down. I get exhausted going up once. They had the most pleasant attitude.The food was delicious and the presentation of the trays and warmers was perfect! The next day they came out and picked everything up. Thank you Liz and ladies for your excellent food and service. Will definitely call you guys again!!! I'll make sure the elevator is working! 😉“

“I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite place to eat in San Antonio. Located near the airport in a tucked away location, RO-HO Pork & Bread is a hidden gem. This is comfort food at it's finest. Ro-Ho has many great things on the menu, but they are best known for their Torta Ahogada, and it's what I get almost every time. The torta is always hot, the carnitas cooked to perfection, and the tomato salsa is to die for. You can get the torta with straight carnitas or you can mix it up with carnitas, pork stomach and skin, which is what I usually get. The torta also comes with cabbage, onion, radish and lime. No matter how you order it, it's going to be great! The place is super cool, with Mexican artwork and music. There is inside seating and an outside covered patio as well. Everything you can get to drink from the cold case is always ice cold. And they serve one of my favorite Mexican beers, Victoria. Chef Rojo is often around and greets customers. The ladies that work the register and food line are so friendly, and will answer questions if it's your first time. The place fills up quickly at lunch, so keep that in mind. I drive clear across town for my Torta Ahogada fix, if that says anything! Check this place out!“

Domingo is, hands down, one of the best restaurants we’ve dined at in San Antonio, and easily our favorite that’s right on the River Walk. Our server, Kelsey, was a delight and made our evening even better with her recommendations and top-notch service. Our favorites that we ordered were the Domingo Signature margarita, elote, seasonal agua fresca, and (it pictured) the star of our meal: the grilled flat iron steak. The entire plate was the kind of meal one has dreams about, and if anyone at Domingo ever considered taking it off the menu I may actually riot. “Stopped in again the other day and had some caldo. Pretty good size and good flavor. The only issue was that my friend ordered the fried pork chops and it took over 20 minutes to get his order and I was done with my food by then. They said they had sold a lot and that's why it took so long. The waitress was nice though. They gave us a second free basket of chips and salsa for yhe wait. Apparently, they charge if you want another basket of chips.“
