“San Antonio is known for it's Tex-mex/Mexican food. I've lived here for over 40 years. Papo's ishas - hands down - some of the best street tacos and quesadillas in the city. My only complaint is I wish they were open more days/hours; I'd be going here all the time.“

“Our visit on 06/06 was for an anniversary dinner at 5:30pm and the service from Haleigh C. made the evening memorable and special. As always the food was superb and everything we were looking forward to. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation and seated immediately, from start to finish the experience was delightful. La Fonda has always been dependable for the wonderful service, the excellent food, and the ambiance of the restaurant whether seated inside or in the courtyard. Thank you again for the visit and we will see you soon!“

“I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite place to eat in San Antonio. Located near the airport in a tucked away location, RO-HO Pork & Bread is a hidden gem. This is comfort food at it's finest. Ro-Ho has many great things on the menu, but they are best known for their Torta Ahogada, and it's what I get almost every time. The torta is always hot, the carnitas cooked to perfection, and the tomato salsa is to die for. You can get the torta with straight carnitas or you can mix it up with carnitas, pork stomach and skin, which is what I usually get. The torta also comes with cabbage, onion, radish and lime. No matter how you order it, it's going to be great! The place is super cool, with Mexican artwork and music. There is inside seating and an outside covered patio as well. Everything you can get to drink from the cold case is always ice cold. And they serve one of my favorite Mexican beers, Victoria. Chef Rojo is often around and greets customers. The ladies that work the register and food line are so friendly, and will answer questions if it's your first time. The place fills up quickly at lunch, so keep that in mind. I drive clear across town for my Torta Ahogada fix, if that says anything! Check this place out!“

“Welll I didn’t even get to take photos we gobbled our food and enreden in FOOD COMA JAJAJA this food was sooo authentic feels like we drove to mexico the chicharrón prensado was sooo delish the one that really got us was the FRIJOL WITH VENENO… I can go on and on but it’s best to try for yourself the customer service was a HUGE PLUS !“

“The best homemade comfort Mexican food in town. Unbelievable flavor, owner really puts time and passion into the food. Very unique menu, all sorts of dishes and flavors. “Used them for a teacher luncheon and they delivered to our school. The elevator was broken and the two ladies carried trays and huge coolers up 2 high flights of stairs at least 7 times up and down. I get exhausted going up once. They had the most pleasant attitude.The food was delicious and the presentation of the trays and warmers was perfect! The next day they came out and picked everything up. Thank you Liz and ladies for your excellent food and service. Will definitely call you guys again!!! I'll make sure the elevator is working! 😉“

“The tacos were perfect and not lacking in any way. They definitely give you a great & plentiful taco unlike other establishments. I bought several tacos for my co-workers, and even they had positive feedback about the quality and amount. They usually buy their breakfast tacos from big name places. You definitely have to give them a try at Camila's. Don't let the fact that their setup is in a convenience store. The tacos are fantastic and more than worth the stop. Thank you so much!“

When we first arrived wasn’t busy but people started coming in.
Usually a restaurant has its subtle specialties but here everyone was really good. We tried, chicharron (thick and not soggy), sausage ranchero, migas taco, kids pancake breakfast, and bean and cheese. The refried beans take bean and cheese taco to next level.
We also tried menudo(waiter let us try since we already ordered, amazing flavor and will order next time.“

“Our experience with the Restarant was perfect! The staff made our wedding shower for our son, his fiancée, and our family and friends a wonderful celebration. The atmosphere was festive and added to our party theme of fiesta. Great food and flexible for our personal wishes and needs. “Been coming to this location for years. Seems like every week. Tacos are the best! Prices are reasonable and their member specials are legit. I have never had any issues....until yesterday.
Went through the drive thru, ordered 7 tacos. When the cashier told me my total, it seemed low, but she repeated the order and it was correct. When I was given my taco bag, I looked at the receipt and they didn't acknowledge two of the tacos I had ordered and charged me for something I did not order. Again, I ordered 7 tacos, but I was only charged for 5, only 5 were in the bag, and one of them was not what I had ordered.
I went inside to correct the issue and was told I needed to speak to the manager. I was met by Steven, the MOD. After I explained what happened ,he went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of and that I had received my correct order.
