“Delicious rolls, smaller selection than some. Atmosphere is great, was nice enough for a nice date but casual enough for us girls after an evening ice skating to celebrate a child’s birthday. Service was slower than anticipated we were seated at the next table over from a rowdy crowd, I realize I had teen girls with me but it was a little much to be next over from like 10-12 rowdy 20-something’s when there was plenty of space to be a bit spread out. Birthday celebrating was cute and the ladies who helped us were really nice.“

I had Blue Fin Tuna, Yellowtail, and Sea Bream and they were all very delicious! I would say it’s better than Itto Sushi for the sushi quality level. “We’ve eaten here three or four times since they’ve opened and the quality has stayed consistently good. We always get sushi and a veggie appetizer. The fish is fresh and the rolls all have distinct flavors and presentations. I agree with other reviewers that this might be the best sushi in Utah. It’s definitely up there! Favorite rolls (so far): Lotus, Maxima, Crazy Roll (topped with fried onions, yum!), Dragon, San Francisco.“

“I've been going to Teru sushi with my family since I was a child. The amazing thing is that the owners always remember who I am all these years later. “I had never heard of this place and was excited to try it out. It’s a beautiful restaurant on the inside, very nicely decorated. Each table has its own space and there were some larger rooms for bigger groups. The staff were incredible. They’re driving the 5-stars as the food was decent, but nothing too impressive. The egg drop soup was hot but lacked any kind of flavor. The edamame needed to be steamed for a few more minutes as half were still cold and very few popped open very well. The sushi rolls were pretty solid. Nothing glaringly wrong with them and we ate all of the rolls we ordered. The kung pao chicken was very salty, borderline inedible. The fried rice with it was delicious as were the gyoza and the egg roll.“

The reason is because the food and service is so good. I love all the variety of sushi they have, they also offer other entrees like BBQ pork and chicken salads, and many healthy food dishes. “This was my first experience at Top Pot. It came highly recommended by friends. The initial impression was fun and adventurous with a greeting at the entry by Aqua Man and a giant Panda. We were seated promptly, and the wait staff was very good at explaining the concept and the way things worked. We fired up the grill and everyone ordered the broth of their liking. There is a huge selection of everything anyone could want. Many seafood, meats, dumpling, and fresh vegetable options to cook in your broth or in the grill. It took a little time to adjust the heat of the grill properly. But the staff realized our blunder and promptly replaced our slightly burned grill with a fresh new one. Go hungry, leave happy. And for the amount of food, drinks, and deserts you can consume, the prices seem reasonable. I highly recommend you give It a try!“

“Love this sushi bar in SLC. I was visiting last month and went twice. It was so good. The service is top notch. Get there early as you will wait but the rent isn't a rush to get you out. Have a drink and enjoy some of the best quality sushi. Both times I was there that week we ordered the same thing. Let the chef decide. Wonderful selection of sashimi, sushi and two different kind of rolls were included on a beautiful slate platter. All the fish was very fresh and the pieces were cut perfectly and so pretty on the platter. They also have really good hot tea. One time we have a pot of oolong and the next time we had a pot of the jasmine green tea. Both were fantastic. About the service, the waitress was very attentive and would check in, asking if we need anything or did we want more tea or more water. There was never a rush to get out of there. Sometimes you can find some restaurants. This is not one of them. We took our time and enjoyed our meal and enjoyed people watching.we notice people come with large crowds so you can tell. “Well I have now been to all locations of Tsunami in Utah! It is my favorite sushi place! Everything is wonderful and consistently wonderful and if you come to the ninth and ninth location ask for Kalieigh to be your server! I had the purple haze to drink, and had the delicious scallops and a tiger roll and a sunrise roll. And I finished it with the banana ice cream they make in house which was heavenly!“

“The food was excellent, especially the Udon. Noodles were soft and chewy, and the soup base was perfectly salty and had a ton of flavor. We got the tatami room, which was a ton of fun, and there was absolutely no wait, though wether thats a regular thing for this restaurant or just because it was 11:30 on a Wednesday I have no idea. Will definitely be coming back.Vegetarian options: There aren't many vegetarian options. A couple dishes that could be made vegetarian, but not much overall.
