The shop shared a kitchen with lady flour so the signage is a little confusing but it had a very old school vibe. Anybody who had been into an old school cafe or donut shop will remember the tables. The music and ambiance created a chill environment. A+

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and coffee and talked to the cashier if I could chill for a few hours. He said of course and gave me the WiFi password - service A+.

I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I recently visited Granary Bakehouse and tried both their croissant and scone, and I have to say, the croissant is one of the best I’ve ever had. Having been to hundreds of bakeries across North America and Europe, this one stands at the top. The croissant is incredibly flaky with layers that melt in your mouth. The buttery flavor is just right—rich but not overwhelming—with a subtle hint of sweetness that balances it perfectly. It’s truly a standout pastry and a must-try for any croissant lover. “Came here for coffee and a light breakfast. I got the toast of the day, beet hummus and ricotta and my friend got the sandwich of the day, ham and cheese. The toast was good but was pretty expensive at $9. The sandwich was a better deal at $12 and was quite tasty but it had really fibrous, inedible pieces of fennel in it which you had to pick out. I also got a couple pastries and a sourdough loaf to-go. The pain au chocolate was $9 but was ridiculously good, so flaky and buttery! Worth it as a special treat. The food was good but didn't seem worth the price, I think the move for table x bread is going for the freshly baked pastries and breads instead of ordering the toasts/sandwiches. Their bread is so good, crispy and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, highly recommend the sourdough. The drip coffee was also worth it, very flavorful and reasonably priced. If you plan to eat here, be mindful that there are only 3 indoor seats (there are several small tables outside).“

“Such a great experience from initial contact through eating the cake and cake pops. The cake turned out perfectly and was so delicious. The cake pops were loved by everyone! Shelby was great to work with, and put up with many mind changes and design questions with such grace. Our now 3 year old was so happy with everything and gave us many “oooh yummy” statements. “We found a cute little pastry shop right in the middle of downtown Holladay today! Apparently they have been in business for 50 years. Who knew? Display and decor is cute. The pastries, cakes, cookies and all of the baked goodies looked delightful. I asked the shop girl if I could just have one of everything! We bought a variety of items and they are all delicious. Not to die for delicious, but good. Shop is clean and inviting. Closed on Sunday and Monday.
