“My family and I have been going to Tona for years, and there is plenty of reasons why. The staff are very polite and have good service. The food is PHENOMINAL. Whether you get a roll, Terriyaki beef/chicken or the miso soup. I lived in Japan for 2 years and this place is without a doubt the best place I've been to in Utah that can compare. We will forever be suppprters and customers of this establishment.”
“I've been lucky to eat here several times in the last couple weeks and it never disappoints! Some of the best service I've experienced. Excellent menu with delicious seasonal options. This place is definitely a favorite!”
“First time here and was totally happy with the entire visit from service, food, and atmosphere. The server was on point there when needed and disappeared out of sight. The music was great for the environment not to loud to interrupt our conversation. The food was great from the bread to the main course. The Lasagna was amazing recommend it to anyone. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food and we definitely did too. The food was well worth the price and again recommend all to try this place out. Will be back in the future”

“I’ve loved everything from Slackwater, however the call me Al wings were awful. They were like chicken Jerky. Dry and very little chicken. My dog wouldn’t even eat the very little meat I pulled off the bone. The worst wings I’ve had anywhere! Also get rid of the scammers on this page. Makes me question WTH???”

“Thanks Megan, we had a great time chatting! Beers were delish, I don't usually like sours but I love lemon bars, and this was awesome, liked the American red, the udder chaos but my favorite was the orange creamsicle IPA!!”
“Steak was good and cooked as requested. Liked how the fried onions appetizer was separated (no tug of war with the onion). The fried pita chips and spinach appetizer was the best!”

“Not all Mexican Food is created equal. This restaurant in Ogden hits all the high marks for taste, presentation, quality and customer satisfaction. Very friendly owners are very helpful explaining what items are if necessary. The portions are huge. My Birria Fries could easily feed 2 or maybe 3 people. The fries themselves are great, thick, perfectly browned and not hard, perfect size for toppings of meat, cheese and sauces. One half is set up for meals with a toppings bar and the other side is for delicious desserts. Either way the sitting areas are plenty and easily accessible for seconds of either type….. A recommendation from our neighbors sent us here. We are so glad they did.”
“We arrived around 1 pm. They sat us immediately. The place was fairly full. I enjoyed the chilaquiles and shrimp tacos. Very delicious food. Kaydee took care of us well, she kept our drinks and chips full. She was super helpful and nice.
The atmosphere was very up beat and colorful.
I recommend this place for a good lunch.”
“Just stopped by because it was someplace we hadn't heard about, but we're ready to eat. Very chill atmosphere there's a stage for live music, absolutely bigger on the inside than it looks outside. Beef Fajitas were amazing, tortillas are a little thick, but hand made. Planning a trip to bring my husband down to check it out.”
“Really flavorful tacos and meats. The pastor is so delicious and the quesadillas are HUGE! Great sauce, flavored well, overall great place to eat. They have the restaurant in the heart of Ogden, 2 tacos stands along historic 25th street, and offer catering. Great service accompanying the delicious food!”
“I am new-ish to the area and stopped in today a little before 4pm to get takeout for early dinner. WOW! Service was amazing! The restaurant was well cared-for, and very clean. (So was the restroom.)They insisted on seating me at a table, then brought me a glass of water while I looked at the menu. Asked me if they could answer questions and made suggestions. They SMILED (gasp!)and were so kind. They even walked with me to the door when I left while carrying my food for me. I have not experienced customer service like this anywhere else in Ogden.
They have a large menu that has familiar Asian foods and some fun less known options. I ordered Pho, Pad Thai, and salt & pepper shrimp to-go. All were hot and delicious. The pho soup broth was carefully sealed in plastic wrap so it wouldn’t spill on the way home. And the noodles and ingredients came in a bowl to pour the broth over. The sprig of basil was fresh! (In October)
I’m so glad I gave this place a chance. I will be back. Please keep restaurants like this in mind when you go out to dinner!”
“An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The sushi was fresh, artfully presented, and absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding, warm, professional, and incredibly attentive to my daughter’s birthday, which made the evening feel extra special. A beautiful atmosphere, excellent food, and impeccable service — truly one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve ever visited. Highly recommend.”
“We had a great time yesterday 9/11/2025. The staff went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable including making sure our dog had water. We felt like we stepped into our friend's house. The food was great! We had a sandwich and they even wrapped up the half sandwich we didn't finish and added some great pickles to our to go bag. A massive thank you to the staff.”

“The staff was so kind and compassionate. They helped me with every step to take before the service and after the service. They made my husband look so majestic for the viewing. I give them a million star rating. Thanks so much, Sheryl”
“I was well attended to by expert and contentious nurses and doctors. Was however displeased for the unusually long wait. There are not enough staff for the type of emergencies that arose which kept me there for additional hours. I'm aware it was supposed to be unusual however this has now been repeated in the er.”
“When fur trader Peter Skene Ogden was skinning marmots in the wilds of the Wasatch mountains, he craved exactly one thing: tacos.
Fortunately, in the year of our lord 2025, Ogden has somewhere you can get tacos any time, any day.
I don't know what it is about a Jack in the Box taco. Everything in my mind says it shouldn't work. But it does, it hits every single time.”

“First time here and was super convenient downtown. Parking on the lot and off street so even when busy you can find a space. Kind of old school with the surroundings not super flashy but its not done in a bad way. The ice cream more than makes up for it. So many flavours, maybe 30-40 so there is something for everyone. Great creamy ice cream and the portions are really big so you wont be disappointed. Seats inside and out so heaps of space. Loved the ice cream and the atmosphere. Thankyou!”
“As a former Chicagoan who has spent over 20 years searching for a decent pizza in Utah, I had almost given up hope of finding anything that could satisfy my deprived heart. Enter Taboo Pizzaria, a local gem I stumbled upon just last year... although not Chicago pizza, it’s been an absolute game-changer for me. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. But the real magic begins when the pizza arrives. The crust strikes the perfect balance - crispy on the outside and delightfully chewy on the inside. The sauce, bold and vibrant, is clearly made with love, and the cheese? Melted to perfection, stretching with every bite like a scene straight out of my pizza dreams! Lol! Their menu offers a variety of creative, mouthwatering options, but you truly can’t go wrong with a large, extra marinara, spicy sausage, pepperoni, green olive and jalapeño pizza. Each bite is a symphony of flavors that proves Taboo Pizzaria isn’t afraid to break the mold while staying true to what makes pizza such a beloved comfort food. Taboo Pizzaria has restored my faith in Utah's pizza scene, and it’s become my go-to spot whenever I need a taste of something extraordinary. If you’re on the hunt for pizza that’s anything but ordinary, give Taboo Pizzaria a try. You won’t regret it! :)”
“so i have a little 6 yr old boy with Autism and let me tell you i was super impressed with the staff at the ogden street market. we were in line for the donuts and he kept asking to go over and eat your food. ( he has a very picky eater so I did not think he would) But i walked him over there and he started looking at all the food and was kinda interested. with out me even asking the staff made him a taco for him to try!!!! once they handed him the plate he simply said “no thanks i don’t want it.” the staff then told me I could put whatever toppings I wanted to and try it myself. this to me was amazing. Just for them to be willing to let him try it and the customer service they had was by far the best. And let me tell you I shared that taco with my daughter and it was amazing.”
“We go there every Sunday morning for breakfast. They make a special plate for me called a Stan Slam and delicious and filling. The service is almost like family. It's relaxing with a comfortable environment. Don't know why you would want to go anywhere else! They have the best fries in Utah bar none. Try the country fried steak you can cut with a fork, and the best fish and fries you'll find anywhere. Enjoy the food and atmosphere, it's perfect no matter what time of day you're ready. Stan”
“Just want to give a big thanks for the other night. My wife and I were able to get out for the first time in a bit. I made an error and I wasn't paying attention to the menu, but Corey and his manager both went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience there. Thank you. Definitely recommend folks to check them out.”
“Today, I visited Criddle's Cafe for the first time. I love a good breakfast and I was not disappointed at all. I ordered the Boss and took my leftovers home! I love a restaurant where I can eat good, old home cooking; just like my childhood. This is going to be my new go-to breakfast spot! Great service and great waitress! See you soon!”

“I received a call while my order was being delivered saying that my pizza would be cold because I was out of their set delivery zone. To accommodate for the cold pizza they voided my order and put a free pizza on my account. So I got 2 free pizzas and bread sticks delivered. Wonderful customer service.”
“Been going here for a few years. Love the bartenders, especially Karla, Terri, Sasha and Traci! Very attentive, friendly, sweet, fun. Love the atmosphere, and how family oriented it is.Definitely recommend for a chill, yet fun time.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had an awesome birthday dinner at Prairie Schooner Steak House in Ogden! The cozy, covered wagon theme gives the place such a warm and inviting atmosphere—it’s the perfect spot for a laid-back celebration. And the food? Incredible. I had the bacon-wrapped filet mignon with deep-fried jumbo shrimp, and those shrimp were hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. The service was amazing too. Everyone was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It’s a little pricier than some places, but honestly, the quality and portion sizes make it totally worth it. If you haven’t been, I definitely recommend giving it a try! I left feeling completely satisfied and can’t wait to go back. Huge thanks to Prairie Schooner for making my birthday such a memorable one!”

“Hands down the best food we have had in a long time! We are visiting from Reno Nv and we will make this a regular spot when we come to Utah!”
“Me and my husband have been here several times, and have also ordered take out. Good quality. Consistent. Never have had any issues. Happy to recommend and continue to support.”

“My family and I stopped at Pinky’s food hauz and we are so happy we ate here!!! The food is amazing, I had adobong manok and loved every bite! Pinkey is amazing as well, she treated us like family and even gave me a birthday cake and sang happy birthday! We will definitely be back!!! Daghan salamat!!!”
“This is a favorite place to grab a quick meal that is delicious and affordable. I had the Hawaiian Teriyaki with island mac, steamed veggies, and grilled chicken. YUM! My daughter and I liked it so much we ate there twice this week. I like that you can make your own bowls how you like and the staff is very friendly. They want the customers to be happy with the food and service and we are! The place is clean and quiet where you can actually carry on a conversation without being drowned out by loud music like some restaurants.”
“Daily Rise is hands down the best coffee EVER! When I moved to Florida from Utah a little over a year ago I was most sad to be far from this place! BUT, thankfully they have online ordering so I’m not missing out!! I can’t wait to share with all my coworkers!”
“I am wondering if there are new owners. I ordered some moo shoo to go and I am very disappointed. They gave me enough sauce for maybe 2 of the pancakes, if I only used a small amount. 2 of the pancakes had holes in them, so it was hard to eat. The moo shoo itself had a weird taste. Doesn't seem like it's the same. :(”
“Walking into Moore’s Family Restaurant feels like stepping into a warm hug, and the star of that hug—at least for me is the vegetarian omelet. I’ve had my fair share of diner breakfasts, but this one honestly stands out as something special. The eggs are fluffy without being rubbery, perfectly cooked every time, and they somehow manage to fold in a serious amount of veggies without the whole thing falling apart. Bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, spinach, and cheese all come together in this perfect, savory bite that feels both comforting and fresh.
What really elevates it is the balance: nothing is soggy, nothing is undercooked, and every forkful has a bit of everything. Pair it with their crispy hash browns and a hot cup of coffee, and you’re pretty much set for the day. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and actually enjoy your morning instead of rushing through it.
But as good as the food is, Moore’s is about more than just what’s on the plate. The staff creates what I can only describe as welcoming armies—friendly faces, warm greetings, and the sense that they’re genuinely glad you showed up. From the moment you walk in, there’s this easy, small-town energy: they remember regulars, they crack jokes, and they never make you feel rushed, even when they’re busy.
Whether you’re grabbing a solo breakfast, bringing family, or meeting a friend, Moore’s Family Restaurant has that rare combination of incredible comfort food and truly welcoming armies of hospitality. The vegetarian omelet alone is worth the trip—but the way they make you feel while you’re there is what will keep you coming back.”
“Words can’t describe how much this place means too me. I’ve genuinely tried most Greek places in Utah and I ALWAYS come back to Greek Gardens. The food is unmatched, the meat is always seasoned and cooked perfectly, the rice always delicious, the fry’s always hot and crispy and the salad always refreshing.. literally everything about this restaurant is top tier.. including the service!! I’ve been coming here with my family since i was a little child and they always remember me even being a grown up now! I will always recommend this place. Best Greek food.. period”
“Beautiful buffet brunch at the top of Snowbasin ski resort. Gondola up and down, fresh snow on the ground, a wide variety of well prepared dishes and buffet foods.”
“Roosters was great, highly attentive staff, nice atmosphere, good food, and a large beer selection. Recommend the gorgonzola burger, it was really good. I arrived with a large-ish group (8) and we were seated quickly. Our server was really great, got drinks out quickly, was always checking back, and even bantered with a semi-rowdy group of well meaning orney fellas. Food came out, everyone enjoyed their entrees. If you're in Ogden or Layton (multiple locations) it's worth a stop.”
“Amazing food and service. Had the pescado and camaron tacos and the ceviche de camaron. Best ceviche I’ve had.”
“Mr Lee is awesome! Super nice and gave us the run down of how to make a great combination. Really fun experience and the food was great! Totally recommend but make sure you bring an appetite because it’s all you can eat!”
“Definitely some weird styling and light choices. There is a random projector playing a iMac animated screen saver, and was super annoying. And the DJ was okay, just not the best I've seen around. definitely still a lot of fun.
The bouncers where nice and professional, and didn't start any drama.
Everything was very well priced considering it's a club.
All the people where super cool and we all had a blast, even in the odd lighting”

“While traveling through the Ogden area, I got a desire for BBQ and went to the Goodwood restaurant for takeout. I ordered the burnt ends dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The meat was well cooked and of good quantity. It was nice to receive properly cooked broccoli also. I will definitely return to this restaurant when I am in the area.”
