“My family and I have been going to Tona for years, and there is plenty of reasons why. The staff are very polite and have good service. The food is PHENOMINAL. Whether you get a roll, Terriyaki beef/chicken or the miso soup. I lived in Japan for 2 years and this place is without a doubt the best place I've been to in Utah that can compare. We will forever be suppprters and customers of this establishment.”

“I am new-ish to the area and stopped in today a little before 4pm to get takeout for early dinner. WOW! Service was amazing! The restaurant was well cared-for, and very clean. (So was the restroom.)They insisted on seating me at a table, then brought me a glass of water while I looked at the menu. Asked me if they could answer questions and made suggestions. They SMILED (gasp!)and were so kind. They even walked with me to the door when I left while carrying my food for me. I have not experienced customer service like this anywhere else in Ogden.

They have a large menu that has familiar Asian foods and some fun less known options. I ordered Pho, Pad Thai, and salt & pepper shrimp to-go. All were hot and delicious. The pho soup broth was carefully sealed in plastic wrap so it wouldn’t spill on the way home. And the noodles and ingredients came in a bowl to pour the broth over. The sprig of basil was fresh! (In October)

I’m so glad I gave this place a chance. I will be back. Please keep restaurants like this in mind when you go out to dinner!”

The cozy, covered wagon theme gives the place such a warm and inviting atmosphere—it’s the perfect spot for a laid-back celebration. And the food? Incredible. I had the bacon-wrapped filet mignon with deep-fried jumbo shrimp, and those shrimp were hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. The service was amazing too. Everyone was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It’s a little pricier than some places, but honestly, the quality and portion sizes make it totally worth it. If you haven’t been, I definitely recommend giving it a try! I left feeling completely satisfied and can’t wait to go back. Huge thanks to Prairie Schooner for making my birthday such a memorable one!”

“We go there every Sunday morning for breakfast. They make a special plate for me called a Stan Slam and delicious and filling. The service is almost like family. It's relaxing with a comfortable environment. Don't know why you would want to go anywhere else! They have the best fries in Utah bar none. “so i have a little 6 yr old boy with Autism and let me tell you i was super impressed with the staff at the ogden street market. we were in line for the donuts and he kept asking to go over and eat your food. ( he has a very picky eater so I did not think he would) But i walked him over there and he started looking at all the food and was kinda interested. with out me even asking the staff made him a taco for him to try!!!! once they handed him the plate he simply said “no thanks i don’t want it.” the staff then told me I could put whatever toppings I wanted to and try it myself. this to me was amazing. Just for them to be willing to let him try it and the customer service they had was by far the best. And let me tell you I shared that taco with my daughter and it was amazing.”

“Not all Mexican Food is created equal. This restaurant in Ogden hits all the high marks for taste, presentation, quality and customer satisfaction. Very friendly owners are very helpful explaining what items are if necessary. The portions are huge. My Birria Fries could easily feed 2 or maybe 3 people. The fries themselves are great, thick, perfectly browned and not hard, perfect size for toppings of meat, cheese and sauces. One half is set up for meals with a toppings bar and the other side is for delicious desserts. Either way the sitting areas are plenty and easily accessible for seconds of either type….. A recommendation from our neighbors sent us here. We are so glad they did.”

“Words can’t describe how much this place means too me. I’ve genuinely tried most Greek places in Utah and I ALWAYS come back to Greek Gardens. The food is unmatched, the meat is always seasoned and cooked perfectly, the rice always delicious, the fry’s always hot and crispy and the salad always refreshing.. literally everything about this restaurant is top tier.. including the service!! I’ve been coming here with my family since i was a little child and they always remember me even being a grown up now! I will always recommend this place. Best Greek food.. period”

“Not something you’d think has amazing food. Building is nondescript and plain. Very easy to miss but it makes it in a best kept secret you want to share. We got the two meat plates. We got Kuala pork and teriyaki chicken and grilled chicken. They give you two heaping piles of rice and Mac salad. The guava cake was so moist and not too sweet.
They give you sauce options and there’s Hawaiian drinks or coke products. The menu is very clear and there’s even a drive thru.
Bathrooms were clean and it was nice and quiet. Great place to stop on your way out of town if you don’t mind a bit of a detour.
This is one of two locations. I’ve been to both and love them.”

If I could leave zero or less stars, I would. Our waitress was disgustingly rude and verbally berated my boyfriend and I when we asked to pay for our drinks and leave. Insisted to know what the problem was and when told we couldn't taste a lick of alcohol she became defensive, insisting that because SHE made the drinks, that we were wrong in what we tasted. We told her we didnt want to discuss it and wanted to pay and leave. She continued to back talk and be incredibly rude, at which point both my boflyfriend and I raised our hands and voices, stating we didnt want to hear it, we were paying and leaving, period. She turned and gave me attitude, continuing to insist we were wroing. Called the manager, who was also just asking rude and tried telling me that we were also wrong. Server needs a major attitude adjustment. Customers are not always right, sure, but sont stand there and prevent me from leaving because you need to feel better about your nasty customer service. A lemon drop shot and a trash can, both tasted like sugar water, and the trash can stein was 2/3rds full only AFTER the redbull was added. Dont care how you feel. While the room was a “blank canvas” they offered decorations, a dessert bar, and any help we needed to make our day extra special. It was very professional but a small hometown feel. Our guests from out of town got a great deal with our room block and the rooms were spacious and clean! We didn’t have a DJ but the had a sound system and board to play our playlist. I had the pumpkin pie stuffed French toast and was delicious!! My wife had eggs Benedict and came with thick slices of tomatoes and avocado and was good but not the best I’ve had. My daughter got chicken strip tenders with fries and they were good as well with large portions. We ordered a large cinnamon roll to go and it turned out to be more like a cinnamon roll coffee cake with more of a cake vs bread texture. It was ok but I was expecting a chewy warm roll texture. They have a large menu and it is definitely worth trying out.”
